Doom arties drop rate

Does he mean that equation resets once you receive and arty? Or is he saying that even if the equation gets better each time you kill a mob it can randomly reset itself even if you don't get an arty?

as far as i know it resets after an arty drops.

If the drop rate equations are unchanged from the core distro of the doom system. Then you should really know that luck does at a bonus, but its not significant enough to give up speed and bonuses from power gear. Its been a bit since I looked at the code and did the math for a few players that asked me before. But its like 1 in 59 chance or so vs the dark father with zero luck. Then something like 1 in 53 chance with 1200 luck, and roughly 1 in 50 chance with 2000 luck. If those odds don't make you frown for wearing a bunch of luck and suffering bad damage performance because of it, I don't know what will lol. And vs the mini bosses, basically when you kill all 5, you pretty much had the same odds as you did vs one dark father. So really, luck is a waste of time. But thats my opinion.

Gizmo its no longer a simple 1 out of whatever chance to get an arty its an equation that continuously changes based on more rounds you do in doom without getting an artifact.  The more you do and still no arty the more likely you are going to get an arty on each subsequent kills.  This chance is increased more with luck and how much damage you do to the father compared to other people.

Does the equation reset when I leave doom or is it still at the same "point" when I come back?
