---------------------Deco Additions

+ Add new relic items; they're like artifacts but they have "relic rarity" instead.
+ Add new decoration loot items; Spell Banners and Crude Dolls.
~ Spell Banners and Crude Dolls may drop rarely from any boss type creatures (bosses, champs, peerless, etc), including paragons. There are hundreds to collect!

[Elemental Event]

Elemental Event




I'm releasing a elemental themed event, alot of simularities with Risen. Im a bit on a tight time table here, but either me or Noll when he gets back, will update it with a way to Exchange unwanted decos.


This works a lot like the Risen Dragon event, as that was a nice balance of allowing a event to go for a month and a little something for everyone. If you participated in the Risen event, then you will have a good idea on it. Will change up the event style on the next one.


Keys drop pretty often on the Event Air, Fire & Water Elementals that are in the dungeon Shame (level 1 & some in level 2).
Felucca has more spawn than Trammel.


VENDORS / HOW IT WORKS.

3 Vendors outside Shame, you can purchase an Elemental Token by double clicking on them. Fire Key on Fire vendor, etc.

It will cost you 1 key to puchase the Elemental Token, you will also need another key to open it.

Fire, Air & Water Keys open the Elemental Token. Once you unseal it, double click the Elemental Token to receive you prize.

Risen Scarecrow & Pandora's Box Event

I'd like the event to run for several weeks and will be monitoring it to see a good time to stop it.

Location:
Destard (Both Felucca & Trammel) -- Felucca has much more spawn & availability. But both are viable.

Target:
Risen Dragons - Like normal dragons, with a bit of a buff. Decayed Pandorians Skeletons have roughly 1 out of 10 chance to drop

Story:
The scarecrow from hell has risen on the burning cross during the Easter season to fulfill the Destard prophecy.
He's in search of the bones of fallen Pandorians to stay alive for another millennium.


How it works:
1. Kill Risen Dragons inside Destard
- Around 1 out of 10 drop Pandorian Skeletons.
- They spawn randomly anywhere from any 15 mins to 4 hours, Felucca side has more than Trammel side.

2. Take the Pandorian Skeletons in your backpack and double click the Risen Scarecrow outside Destard. He only accepts Pandorian Skeletons as payment.

- You can buy 1 Pandora's Box for 1 Skeleton

- You can buy 1 Dice #6 for 1 Skeleton

- You need both these items for a chance of a prize.
You double click the Dice #6, click the Pandoras box, then open it.

VNC Update

Massive Vita Nex Core engine update thanks to Vorspire. This addresses bugs and other fixes related to Battles and other VNC systems. You will also notice new gumps, etc.

3 New Mounts



Magical Unicorn

This can be a beast, find one with good stats, and it could probably outmatch you in clearing a champ spawn! The key factor to its AoE power, is its intelligence and strength, which can of course be buffed with a bless from its owner.

(I will buff my daemonic dragon sooner, so its on par)

How do I get it? This is NOT in the donation room, you can only get this on a rare spawn on Dreadhorn Island inside Twisted Weild. So you must do the Dreadhorn quest to reach her. She will spawn quite randomly, anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks, so you will have to be on your toes.

Takes 121 skill to tame it. Dreadhorn will want your head, so best to bring a friend... Also the Unicorn is pretty random in stats, it has a chance to be much better than it should or lesser so, but either way it's good.


Tarantula
A dangerous mount, more focused on PvP, ever wanted a mini Mephistis as your pet? This is your chance, it randomly throws webs at your foes!) Noll says it's powerful.

How I get it? It can be bought in the donation room and plans to implement it into other game play once we've tested & seen it in action.


Lesser Turanchula

More just for vanity and looks. Ridable.

How I get it? Once a week random spawn in Destard Felucca only. First level. 117.0 skill in Taming to get it.



TURANCHULA ETHEREAL


How do I get one? ONLY can be obtained by placing first in the weekly Battle's season or saving up PVP coins to purchase one.

So someone will get one once a week. Remember if you will never be 1st in the PVP Battles, you still get PVP Coins for just joining them at no risk (you never even die) and you can save up!



Fixes from Noll, also a new account filter, for some fall/winter cleaning!

To calm your horses, its based on inactivity and total gametime.
It will remove accounts (well it will filter, i gotta do the removing) that has been 6 months or more inactive, that has less then 30 minute of gametime (this includes removed characthers aswell)
same deal but;
12 months + 60 minutes
24 months + 120 minutes
36 months + 180 minutes
48 months + 240 minutes.

It will check for accounts that fits any of those 5 criteria. So to explain it a bit furthur, if an account has been inactive for MORE than 4 years, and had a total gametime of LESS then 4 hours, it would be a "match".
Pandora have never really gotten a good cleaning before.

- Possible fix for the attacking in Tram / pets exploit. We are fully aware and working on it.
Do not do it anymore. We will be testing things on the live shard as it's much much more complicated problem
than you think. Thank you for the patience.

We are working on a nice Publish, it's going smooth and I want to put it in soon as I can. I think you all will appreciate it.

As far as changes thus far, please update your client to the latest, it's very important. As we move Pandora into the future we need all players to be on that. Very easy, simply go to your UO directory, right click UOPatch.exe and run as Administrator. -- We've always been ahead and on the curve of the games new content, this isn't any different.


Couple tweaks so far. [Battles system should be working in full order. Vorspire and myself spent the entire evening tweaking it. Please everyone join battles when you see the announcements. Every time you join a Battle you get at least a PVP Coin and you never even die. Even players who don't pvp, just join it!  We also put in a fix for each week the season should change (every Monday) the top 5 players will get 1 out of 41 rare trophies and the runner up 7 will get 10 pvp coins each. Just join them -- If you see ANY bugs please send a PM in Discord to both myself and Vorspire (copy and paste) --- You will also notice the Toolbar revamped. You can place your toolbar or change the theme or buttons by clicking the specific buttons near the front and along the default buttons. To activate it, simple type [toolbar  -- See this image below where to click for options. (You will also notice some new gumps coming in, we hope to revamp the entire look of the game's basics!

Ancient Pandora Treasure Chest

Full New Chance System:
The Ancient Chests will drop randomly on the Eodon Villagers / Clan's Bodies. They will come locked/sealed. You will need an Ancient Key. Yes Eodon is Fel, but they drop fairly often and newer players can buy them from other players.

You can purchase an Ancient Key for it for 1 Pandora Buck at the Donation House. 1 Key for 1 Chest.

It will always give you a pretty decent prize at random from all our Shard Stores (P Coin, Ocean, PVP, Donation), and it has a chance to make you very rich...

Battles Trophies

In light of Battle Necklace retiring, we have something pretty cool.

41 total trophies. The top 3 players in points each week on the [Battles will receive one of these at random.
They are great collection items and many players will sell theirs to the collectors. Collect them all!

(one is very special looking, it's just a hand cursor like you see in game)

Here is a preview of a couple (the name will also have the player's name and season # in the name)



Remember, you do not lose anything in Battles, you do not even die. Even new players you should do it.



Universal Dyes (Super Dye Room)

Universal Dyes have decreased in price by 80% so players can change their looks often. Costs: 2/5/14

The Universal Dyes now allow you to dye your skin. Have fun.

There is a new Universal Dye option - 50 charges for 50 P Bucks. Great for guilds.




Rental Vendors

Vendors for your houses will take WAY less gold than they normally would. Like very little.
Trying to encourage more players to use them.

Example - If you house is NOT commercial, he will charge about 60k per 10 million.
If your house IS commercial, he will charge about 3k per 10 million.




Added Everlasting Bolt to donation house.

Oceanic Coins will now drop in SOS chests and Treasure Chests. The amount is 2 x (times) the level.

There is a new donation item. The 6 Str 6 Dex 6 Int can now be applied to ANY clothing (ONLY CLOTHING, No quivers, etc) -- It will not stack, so do not ask us to put 6 str on top of something that has str already (unless its like 3 and you just want 3 more, and no it's not cheaper) -- This is now in the donation store.. The best news is that each stat is 16 P Bucks (as opposed to 28) and all 3 is 42 P Bucks (as opposed to 75!) We will have an option to remove it at a price in the future. As this might inconvenient some of you, know that it is great for long term economy as it doesn't flood any items in market. In turn it holds its value for you too. It's a win / win. Promise.

- Battles are working again with giving out PVP Coins etc. Everyone should join these as you always get a pvp coin and you lose nothing. You dont even die... Also no more Battle Necklaces. I will be working on special unique trophies for the winners of the week in next patch.

These prices are based on the current Pandora economy to adjust for what currency sells at taking into account Pandora Bucks, Pandora Coins, Voting Tokens, etc. 90% of them are lower, so I don't think anyone will have too many flags about this one...

We didn't touch the pets. Just the items.

- Pet Slots are now 19 P Bucks as opposed to 25. You no longer need the unlocker just the +1. You can have up to a max of 15 slots.

- Adjusted a couple of the Donation Pets prices (not the big ones, ones like G Dragon, Tornado, etc)

- Prices of Oceanic Sandals and Robe raised quite a bit after realizing how low it was.  If you work hard you can earn about 1k Sea Coins a day, give or take. (Every player is different, but it is obtainable).

- Finally a working fix for the dark skeleton deeds.. hate em... hate em so much... hate em even more

-Added a dps golem, wonder what that is?

-Fix for rune codex stealing other players hard work, so sorry for misunderstanding the issue when it was reported the first time. Thought a player could steal a runebook FROM the codex, still bad.. but thought why lock one down then..  anyway.. codex cant steal runes nor runebooks.. gotta keep it in your backpack

- Fixed it so npcs will always take gold from "bank".. old ghost from the ToL gold patch

Update your client by going to your UO install folder, right click UOPatch.exe and Run as Admin.

- Updated the shards live box with the current client.

- You can now get up to 15 pet control slots instead of 10. This will give a lot of options to people if they wish.
Example) 15 llamas, 2 tigers & an ethy, etc etc.

- The Pet Slot/Unlocker was lowered by just a couple P bucks in doni house.

- Sea Horses now will take only 2 control slots instead of 4. You will have to tame or buy a newer spawned one.

- Name change token added to donation house.

- Blessed Potion bag will now hold Argon Bottles & Infested Argon Bottles.

- Adjusted the level down a bit when a plant is actually 'dying', this is a test trial and please let me know if anything feel off with growing.

- The 1st circle Magery spell Create Food now takes a long time to cast instead of instant. This isn't the first time this spell has been exploited. I am keeping it in as if you need food for your pet you can get it, it just takes much longer than it did to cast. Not going to effect much lol.. Why? I caught a player spamming it for hours at Luna bank and lagging up everything in the area on purpose. Literally thousands of food piles on one tile. Took me 3 minutes each step just to reach him and was effecting the entire shard. If I wouldn't have been on, would have done a slow and miserable crash. Sorry, only takes one.

- The Skull Candle stealable will now spawn in Doom in it's correct spot instead of outside of Yotsumo Mines where you couldn't reach it hehe.

- Dragon Turtle Champ will now drop 115 and 120 powerscrolls also. (125's if infested)

***I am looking to put in more vanity items in Pandora to allow players to have even more customization and uniqueness if they wish. Please reply here with any ideas. Like items that currently cannot be dyed, or skins can only go certain colors, etc etc.

Rare Dragon Turtle Statuette

Has a rare chance to drop on Baby Dragon Turtles and a rare but better chance to drop on the Dragon Turtle Champion himself.



*Keep note, these statuettes and dino trophies are rare for a reason. They are definitly not impossible, but they are not easy to get. You want them to have value when you get one, so they have to stay rare and admired.


- Upped the drop rate of the rare Tiger Cub Statuette a bit.

- All Eodon Monsters now have a 50/50 chance to drop a Pandora coin. Everyone one of them except for the Tribes.

- All Eodon Monsters / Creatures got a buff since most of them just could be 1 shotted. Also sometimes just running around arching won't work... Someone said baby dragon turtles are too hard, well they have shells, you can't just throw arrows at it. 

- All Wild Tigers and Tiger Cubs will most of the time drop Tiger armor for you to imbue.

- 'Wild Small Dragon Turtles' names changed to 'Baby Dragon Turtles'

- The drop rate of the special Tiger armor sets and special Dragon Turtle armor sets have been turned up on Baby Dragon Turtle / Wild Tigers.
(so check those armor pieces when they drop)!

- Killing a Tiger Cub & Baby Dragon Turtle will only make you lose 25 karama as opposed to 150. (Only to save your reputation Mesmerize)

- All Baby Dragon Turtles have a good chance to drop Dragon Turtle Armor.

- Dragon Turtle champion will always drop multiple pieces of Dragon Turtle Armor.

- If you haven't noticed already, I parially opened up the new Caves / Mines where the Mrymidax Queen will go. It's a beautiful area if you haven't seen it. You can get there from jumping in the whole at the Eodon Trophies or the big hole at the start of the desert area.
