All Stealables time's in game have been lowered dramatically at a way more realistic and reasonable spawn rate. Most of the times were so high, even vets have never even seen these items in the game yet.

Gold rush?

For those of you who don't know, if you see these you can use the stealing skill to get them, so get your stealing skill up. Some of the rarest are a month or two between spawning, most a few few weeks, sometimes a few days. This should be fun for you all.




I hope this guide is helpful. To get more info, I included a link to UOGuide's version on each group.

This patch is just random changes, some you see some you don't.. A few new things..


- Adjusted the Tiger Cub Statue drop... my mistake as it was blessed before so the tigers would hold on to it even after they died. All the people who went on murdering innocent tiger cubs for hours and for nothing.. I'm sorry. It's still hard to get one, but they drop now.


- Minor Tweaks to Eodon and some of the new bosses.

- At the T-Rex, Great Ape, and Dragon Turtle spawn, I have displayed some rares they can drop to remind and let people know who don't read forums. (boo).

- T-Rex now has a chance to drop a Rare Gyro from the mad scientist collection, you can see it displayed at his spawn or the Donation House.


Dragon Turtle Fountains



These are pretty sweet. You can't see in this photo but they are animated.
Check them on display at the Dragon Turtle Spawn or Donation Room.

These fountain deeds (either South or East) have a chance to drop on the Dragon Turtle Champion in Valley of Eodon. He also has a chance to drop an Item Bless Deed and more. (not to mention powerscrolls, etc)

VERY IMPORTANT.

Update your UOClient.exe by going into your UO install directory and Right Clicking UOPatch.EXE --- Also
whenever you start UOSteam you should right click and Run As Admin as it squashes bugs on your end.



Oceanic

- Posiedon has a small chance of dropping Oceanic Sandals.
   
- Oceanic Sandals lowered from 17k O Coins to 14k
   
- Robe of the Sea lowered to 13k O Coins
   
Speaking of Oceanic Sandals, they have their new counter part...



Eodon Sandals & Talons

Stats: 50 Luck, 20% Lower Reg Cost, 2 Regen Hit Points, +20 Str


How to get them: They have a chance to drop off the new T-Rex boss and the Great Ape boss in The Valley of Eodon (below). Both are same stats and look except the Doni ones don't have the Artifact tag. They can also be purchased in the Donation Store.
   



Tyrannosaurus Rex


You can find him roaming / spawned random times through the day in the same spot, just East of Sakkhra Camp. He's mean as hell and works a lot like the Stygian Dragon. Similar value of loot (including the Crimson) with also a chance to drop the Eodon Sandals and it usually will drop one Dino random Trophy.

The Great Ape


Another bad boss, who lives in the The Great Ape Cave in the Valley of Eodon (the stairs up to him took me 2 hours to make haha). He's surrounded by Evil Silverbacks, which are a bit stronger than normal ones. He spawns every few hours and he also has a chance to drop the Crimson and new Eodon Sandals (T-Rex has a slightly higher drop rate for the Eodon Sandals). BUT the Great Ape has a list of some really sweet new deco that he's been hoarding and will drop every so often, you can also get this new deco in the Donation House.


- Large, Medium and Small Banana Hoard deeds.
- Animated Lava Rock Display
- Rainbow Painting
- Various Moonstone Crystals
- A Raw Moonstone (animated)

Dinosaur Trophies!

The trophy deeds sometimes drop on the relevant dinosaur when it is slayed. All trophies come in either East or South facing. For those of you who don't have the patience to hunt, you can pay out for them with Pandora Coins on the Eodon Trophy Vendor located in the Valley of Eodon. You can find the Trophy Vendor and the trophies on display at the Mining hole just above the Barrab Tribe in the Valley of Eodon. There is also a spot on the Public Moongate that goes their for the time  being.


The following Dinosaur trophies exist and can drop on that specific Dinosaur either in East or South: Anchisaur, Allosaurus, Dimetrosaur, Saurosaurus, Myrmidex (rarer), Najasaurus (rarer). 
   




CUTE TIGER

- Tiger Cubs. Small Tigers that are just too cute. They are now roaming around the Valley of Eodon.

- A Rare Tiger Cub Statuette.  Has a rare chance to drop on Tiger Cubs and  Wild Tigers.
   


New Section in Donation House



New Unrelated Items

- A Professional Interior Decorator] is in the Donation store. It can Turn, Up, Down, North, South, East & West! This is completely a vanity item (very useful one), so I'll keep it only in Doni store for now. It's cheap.


- The Vault. This is a cool decorative Vault to put in your home that will allow you access to your bank. It's very heavy (1200 stones) so don't carry it around long. You can get this at the Donation Store and Voting Stones and PVP Store.



   
The Mad Scientist Decoration Collection

- Multiple Items. This is some really awesome deco for your house. Check it out at the Donation store. It's Radical.
Also all The Great Ape drop Deco is also for sale and on display nearby





General Time of Legends Tweaks

- Changed all the Valley of Eodon clothes, Tiger Armor, Dragon Turtle armor to show Time of Legends in green when you hover over the item for stats.   
   
- Valley of Eodon Spawn. Went through and cleaned up a lot of Eodon spawn. Sometimes animals get stuck in certain areas, if you see that you can't get to some dino, then please page, make a rune or something. I did a lot of tweaking to the spawn, including a lot of P Coin mobs, some O Coins, including Ankhs, corpse stones, healers, bankers, etc.

- Few tweaks to magical tornado. Big one changed the taming requriment down to 109, as I want them geared for all types of players, so meet it half way to 120.



VNC ENGINE

- VNC Update. Engine updates to the Battle systems, working hard to get it back in full swing and give you guys the best Battle experience while earning PVP Coins for it (working fairly well now, but still work in progress)

This publish was a lot of work and I hope you guys are excited. There is more to come. The only thing we ask of you is to Vote every single day. For all the hours that we work to give you guys an awesome playing experience, taking the few minutes to type [vote everyday isn't much to ask. Thank you all for your suggestions lately. Here is the first step in listening to you:



- A New Powerful Pet. The most powerful NON-DONATION Pet is here. A Magical Tornado -- It spawns randomly at the different Tribe camps at least a couple times a day in the Valley of Eodon. You will never know what camp it is at. The Tribes protect it. It has around the same stats as a Pandorian Llama with an average HP of 1200, they spawn differently or "roll" each time. One might have 1000 HP, another might have 1400, same with skills. Always trying to get your Tornado a bit better ... It also will change color if you want it too and ressurect you like a Pandorian Llama. The cool part is when it is roaming around or fighting, it looks like a tornado or energy vortex. But when you try to ride it, it turns into a Llama for a quick get-a-way. It is 5 slots and take 116.0 taming to tame it.


*I have removed the Pandorian Llama from the Donation Vendor and I have placed the Magical Tornado in there for only 4 Pandora Bucks and the Greater Dragon for only 1 Pandora Buck for those who don't want the trouble of taming or do not have high enough Taming, etc. So let new players know they can get a great pet right away there.

Tribe / Magical Tornado Spawns, wise to save this on your desktop: Also you will notice places like Great Ape Cave, etc. As the client updates the map adds more stuff so that will be new areas in the future.



- An Exceptional Weapon Deed added to Donation House. Will turn your artifact into exceptional. Currently it costs 12 P Bucks from asking a few players their thoughts. If you think the price should be lower or higher for the good of the server please post your thoughts here.
   
- Prices for Pet +1 Unlocker and the +1 Additions are much much lower on the Voting Stones.

- Pet Slot Unlocker +1 and the +1 added to the Oceanic Store.

- Added Ancient Ethereal Hell Hound to Donation House and P Coin Store.

- Added Ethereal Tiger to P Coin Store.

- Voting Stone prices adjusted. Many lower. If you're caught voting on multiple chars/accounts all your tokens will be deleted. Please vote everyday, it is the only real promotion our shard can get. If you're also caught by clicking the vote buttons but not actually voting in your browser, all your tokens will be deleted.

- PvP Coin Store prices have been adjusted, a few lower.

- Battles should be fixed. I deleted all the buggy profiles / points, set the Season schedule. Starting today starts as Season 2, hopefully everything works as planned. The top winner each week should get a Battle Necklace, runner ups 2-5 will get 10 pvp coins each. You also get pvp coins when you do the actual battle. I encourage all people to do them, even if you don't pvp just to run around. You always get rewarded and you never actually die or lose anything.

There is a lot of cool new deco and artwork from the latest client you guys will love and will put it in a future patch. Just make sure you keep your UO up to date!

Please be very simple in your suggestion. Use the following format:

Suggestion: Add the +1 Pet Unlocker Statue to Pandora Coins "for suggested amount" and Voting Stone "Suggested Amount"

Why: Many great pet duos can be accomplished by having 6 slots, if they want more they can donate for more. But having the price set that high will take possibly months of hunting and trading to get that many coins and will give an option to those who cannot ever donate.

House Decay
- All Houses will now be automatically refreshed until we say otherwise. There have been reports, though rare, of player's houses dropping when they said they refreshed them. There is no bugs in the decay that we can find, but since someones house dropping cannot be proved we are eliminating the chance for the time being. We're not saying they are lying (though we've caught a few) But because even if a player is mistaken, this is far too discouraging to players and isn't worth the trouble until we investigate it more. We of course will be cleaning stuff on our end. This will have some benefits for the time being in the real estate market of buying and selling spots. You can have up to 10 houses per account. If you bought an ageless house token, find a time when GM Noll is on and page at the house you own with that character that's ageless for a refund. But if you don't need the gold and want your house sign the rare color, then don't page.

Tiger Armor
- All Wild Tigers in the Valley of Eodon have a decent chance to drop a basic Tiger armor piece for you to start imbuing for a cool new look. It also has a rare chance (luck plays a role) of dropping a Tiger special set piece. Both are on display at Luna bank for their look and stats.

Dragon Turtle Armor
- All Wild Small Dragon Turtles in the Valley of Eodon have a decent chance to drop a basic Dragon Turtle armor piece for you to start imbuing for a cool new look. It also has a rare chance (luck plays a role) of dropping a Dragon Turtle special set piece. Both are on display at Luna bank for their look and stats.

The Dragon Turtle Champion Boss will always drop a piece of basic Dragon Turtle armor, usually multiple pieces and a chance of all of them at once.

VNC Engine Updated

Client 7.0.49.62
- Close out of UO completely. Update your clients by going into your folder where UO is installed. (usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Ultima Online Classic\UOPatch.exe) right click it and run as administrator. Go grab a coffee and let it patch all the way up. This is important as Pandora always keeps up with the latest UO has to offer. If you don't patch up you will run into crashing, not seeing things in game when others see them, etc. -- Also updated the client on the live server box.

Also we are continuing to work on Time of Legends Expansion. (We are having to go along with whatever official UO patches into the client, so as they put new things in, we have to build it from the ground up).

Here is a preview of some of the new Dragon Turtle Armor & Tiger Pelt Armor options, along with 3 new kilts that was already created for Pandora and will go in game as soon as GM Noll and I decide what kind of stats or properties to have on the new pieces and how we want them looted. (the new checkered kilts will go on the normal sewing kit).

The bonus only works in increments of ten. There is not a Pandora 50 Cent Piece so it will always round down. (say you donate 35 bucks, you will get 33 Pandora bucks. If you donate 40 bucks, you will get 44 bucks, etc)

Hey folks,

Today we put in a patch that upgraded the Vita-Nex Core engine to 3.0. (Vorspire's company) VNC runs a lot of things in game like the Auto Donation, Battles, Toolbars, etc etc.

It's a big under the hood update.

You will notice little changes and optimizations in game... For example: Donations are auto now and you no longer have to wait for a save.

Also added the Avenger set. All platemail armor is an avenger set, if you put pieces together, stats increase. We will try it out, if it feels over powered in certain situations let me know.

There is lots of small goodies.

Also we added more support like the Tribes for the Time of Legends expansion. Thank you for your patience as we work dilligently on it.

Open the Program

2. Select an Executable -- Select client.exe in your UO install directory.

3. Check Box the Large Address Aware Flag!

4. Click Save. Restart UOSteam and it should open Ultima Online fine.

We made some changes to the customization housing in this patch. But the bug of committing your customized house and then it saying you must be in your house to do this is still an issue (though a reboot fixes it slightly, so those of you who committed on last reboot should be OK, just don't customize again) -- We are working on it. The Enhanced Client.
Some people love it, some don't. It's worth a shot playing around on it regardless. Expect that the Enhanced Client will have some minor visual bugs that you are on your own with, but for the most part it is very playable. You always have the 2D client to back you up.


Here is me at Luna bank while posting this.





Steps on how to get the Enhanced Client:


1. Download the Enhanced Client: http://tinyurl.com/qgnl8yz

2. Right click icon, Run it as Admin, let it patch all the way up.
Go grab a coffee or something.

3. Download, Unzip and Place all 3 files below inside the folder where you installed Enhanced Client.
(not a sub-folder, right in the root, take them our of their folder)

4. Once the 3 files are in your Enhanced Client install folder. Right click on UoSALoader.exe and Send to Desktop (create shortcut).

5. Right Click > Run as Admin > UoSALoader.exe that's now on your desktop and type in your Pandora username and password.

6. Nice work. Now that you are logged in, play around with setting your visuals up. Click the side of the toolbar to minimize it and things like that. Make your screen bigger for the space.
Tip: Hit ESC. Go to User Settings. Go to Legacy. Checkbox all Legacy except for Paperdoll. This will help with items in your backpack.


If you take the time to play around with it. It is very playable. Some like to use Enhanced for like decorating, socializing, PVMing, etc. Just depends on your taste. You will notice some bugs, but nothing crazy. (like having to walk in public moongate twice to see all the locations listed)... Note that these instructions don't work for everyone depending on your Windows permissions, if you have any trouble, leave a reply here and community can try and help.

First and foremost. Close out of all your UO clients and head to your UO install directory, right click UOPatch.exe and click Run as Admin and update to the latest client. DO IT!



TRADING and CURRENCY CONVERSION

IMPORTANT WITH TRADE WINDOWS: Most computers must have UOSteam (or Razor) running as Admin for new trade windows to work properly and appear for you. All you have to do is close out of UO, right click on UOSteam and click 'Run as Admin' to start UO like that. (You can right click UOSteam, go to Properties, then Compatibility and check to always run as admin to save yourself the trouble each time)
Having more issues with trade window popping up? Scroll to bottom of this post for troubleshooting.

- You now have a Secure Trading button on your player menu. Single click yourself, make sure it's on (green). Trading is much different.

- The only way to check your gold balance is type "Balance" to a banker.

- Gold is not stored in the bank like you're used too, imagine it like a big bank holds all your money for your, but you don't physically see if in your bank box. Type Balance to see how much you have. You also can see your balance when you're trading.

- Bank Checks are no longer in UO -- Cash them, let them go into your global bank account.

• This feature does not require the Time of Legends expansion entitlement.
• Physical gold piles will remain in the world.
• All existing player-owned gold and checks that were located in the player's bank box have been added to the player's currency account on the shard.
• Players must add gold or checks to their currency account in order to use it.
• To add gold or checks to a player's currency account, simply place it inside their bank box.
• Bankers no longer create checks from gold stored in the bank box.
• All bank checks are shard-bound.
• Both client trade windows have been updated to improve currency account trading.
• *New Currency Type* Platinum has been minted. A platinum is valued at 1 million gold. Once a player's gold account reaches a balance of 1 million gold, it will automatically convert to 1 platinum. Example - If trading someone something for 10 mil, put a 10 in the Silver Platinum spot in trade window A platinum is valued at 1 BILLION gold. Once a player's gold account reaches a balance of 1 BILLION gold, it will automatically convert to 1 platinum.
   


HOUSING
   
- Housing now has stairs that run along the side of the house. They are there when you place a house and you can add them in custom housing menu.

- Two new housing walls styles, they are in the custom housing menu.

- Three new housing floor styles, they are in the custom housing menu.

MYSTICISM CHANGES

- MYSTICISM (your damage relies on your Mysticism and Focus skill levels mostly)
- Bombard spell does more damage. The skill to cast it is lower. (58)
- Stone Form, when cast, will give you 100 of each resists making an awesome stone tank.
- Hail Storm Damage Increased.
- Eagle Strike does much more damage, but uses more mana. More damage than an Energy Bolt. Most the time a bit more than a Flamestike.
- Animated Weapon now does some damage to whatever it is attacking. It also is harder to be dispelled from magical monsters. It will attack the monster closest to it with the highest skills in Tactics. The required Mysticism skill to cast it is set to 33 and uses 11 mana. The higher your Imbuing, the longer the weapon stays out fighting. It has very high resists, etc. Makes for a great tank companion, like handling a big group of Ratman.



MISC.

- Fixes for players that have a virtual memory errors on their Windows with UO steam.

- Updated the server's live box Ultima client.

- Fix for Fire Resistance Equipment Rating bug



(Added) The Ultimate Resource Box has been updated as follows;

- Added Fill From Backpack and Fill From Bank options to the basic interface.
- Updated advanced interface display icons and resource names - colors and positioning.
- Added the ability to target containers, including your own Backpack, when adding resources.
- You may now use the box when it is in your Backpack.
- Multiple people can now use the box at the same time and each person will be able to choose their own private options without affecting other users.
- Any changes in the stored resources will automatically refresh the interfaces for all users.
- The box is now Blessed.

A new map is available, but it is not open to you guys yet and will be in the next Time of Legends publish (2 of 2).  You must have the latest client.

New creatures will be coming in also, along with a new champ, armor. etc.

We are literally updating Pandora live with pay Ultima and some of these things are not even out of the Test Centers yet, so we have to wait. We bring it to you cats as soon as we get it.

Having issues with trade window popping up?

Try these things:

1. Close out of UO, right click on UOSteam and click 'Run as Admin' to start UO like that. (You can right click UOSteam, go to Properties, then Compatibility and check to always run as admin)

2. Scroll through UOSteam to make sure the filter Trade Windows isn't checked..
Also instead of using Razor use UOSteam (I know some of you couldn't get it to work, revisit the Play link above and go to UOSteam section, we included a link for a quick download on what seems to hang people up a lot. Something like missing MSV100.dll thing? Yes you can download that missing file here: http://www.faqforge.com/windows/fix-the-program-cant-start-because-msvcr100-dll-is-missing-from-your-computer-error-on-windows/ and UO Steam will work.

3. If nothing is working and you still do not see a trade window -- Reinstall UO cause you might have a patch fail.. Go to your UO installation directory (usually Program File\Electronic Arts\Ultima Online Classic and right click UOPatch.exe and click Run As Admin... When the window pops up, click the box to do perform a full file check... Or simply Uninstall UO and reinstall it following directions on the Play link above on our website.

HOT PATCH: Map Engine Rebuilt

Vorspire has put in a core engine patch in attempt to make Pandora lag free.
(all online games will have lag sometimes, mostly it's your connection, but you know what I mean)

Pandora's world engine has been rebuilt with new map infrastructure and mathematics and everything is much more smoother now according to the players so far...


Some thing you might notice:

- Running through the world/map things load almost instantly. In turn this makes you smoother all the time... Don't believe me? Use a Public Moorgate and go somewhere.

- NPC's, Monsters, etc, load much quicker and more efficient with incoming names, etc.

- Overall connection is better and smoother.
