- We migrated to a new server... You folks should have a better connection and stronger ping. I personally do and the new one is farther away from me.



- New Players will start in Insula near Training Elementals
(Was like this on Pandora for 3 years. Worked well)... So try and hang out in Insula everyone, it is a great community spot. Can't get hurt like Luna.


- New Players will now start with a Skill Codex of 3 skills at 75.

Many skills you can get GM right inside Insula and being AFK... Others are fun to get... This is my own feelings and has been reflected by some vets. This will give more achievement at the start and allow the learning curve for our shard to be much more efficient... It also allows Vets to help New Players easier without the huge risk.


- New Players will no longer start with the Imbuing Bag.
I have placed a Soul Forge in Insula so they can smelt weapons from new player dungeon.


- New Players will no longer instantly learn all recipes for Imbuing etc.
This will give more achievements for newer players while also stimulating the economy between New and Vets. (It will take some time to see this really take effect, but I believe it will) Newer folks will want to work to pay vets who have the recipe and that means legit trading, not just bumming.

I'd like to get some people's impressions on connection speed? In my case this new server is  1300 miles farther away from me than the other one, but I ping twice as fast on this one.

This is a hot patch to buff brand new starting players. This only applies to a brand new Young player and the first char they create on their account. This will help them dive in the game more quickly along with other positive variables.




- Patch the server to the latest client, you should do the same by going into your Ultima folder (where it is installed) Find the UOAutoPatch.exe, right click, Run as Admin. - This should help buggy clients and also gives us access to a lot more content for future updates. Everyone update.

- Added Davie Jones Lock House Deco to Donation House & O Coins.

- The Toolbar will now pop up again for players, you can move this around / minimize it very easily.

- New Player (1st Char, Young Only) start with a dyed robe in pack, blessed to them and named "New Pandorian" for them to look cool right away and for vets to know that they are new.

- The Spell & Casting bag Young player's start will now be ice blue to be recognized easier by a new player.

- New players (1st Char, Young Only) will now start with 100k gold instead of 50k for mostly insurance purposes.

- New Players (1st Char, Young Only) will start with a bag of starter Imbuing material so they can get familiar with the skill right away and know what to look for when hunting.

- New Players (1st Char, Young Only) will start with a normal Bow and 97 arrows.

- New Players (1st Char, Young Only) will start with a bonded normal Hiryu to be able to dive right in and hunt.

- Placed a Powerscroll Exchange in Luna bank.

After doing some research on statistics and traffic on our domain and the voting sites, we have decided that there is only 2 voting sites worth keeping.

We will focus on buying banner space each month from the donations pot for just these 2 to maximize... But it only matters if you take the 20 seconds each day and type the command [Vote and click on each site.




What does this mean for you? You only have to Vote on 2 sites now as opposed to like 7 or 8 each day. You will get 3 voting tokens for each vote, 6 total of the day. -- This is a Win/Win.

There should be no more excuses of not voting on all sites and actually typing in the CAPTCHA (or it doesn't count at all) in your browser.. All we are asking is you vote on these 2 sites, once a day, by typing the command [Vote.

The random freezing seems improved, but not squashed. We will continue to fight it.

Imbuing Gems & Jewels

Since we have removed Mining Carts, all these gems & jewels drop on easy to pretty easy monsters with pretty high drop rates. (Average is 1 out of 15 to 1 out of 30) - The harder the monster, the more to drop.- This will also allow some original dungeons to be used again.

Felucca dungeons will usually be denser than Trammel for obvious reasons.

Not to mention this will give new & old players a way to make good money, kill some easy monsters and collect them - Sell them - Etc..  Only thing I am upset about is I should have done this well over a year ago, or really when Imbuing was introduced.. Ah well

There is no debate on this, no you will not get to choose a different Vet reward, you already get too many rewards with that system over multiple accounts any ways - If you don't have anymore rewards, ask almost any player and they probably have one you can have. - This is a no brainer and any player with some senses already understands.

Every couple years we change up the donation prices due to many variables, basically to make the items cheaper and more attainable. (some lower than others) - That time has come. - I hope player's embrace this and consider donating as that is the only possible way we are able to keep the shard live. This should allow all types of player's to be able to donate for something really worth having without breaking the bank.

Also....

Many prices have been adjusted dramatically where there is NO reason for the once a year 1/2 off sale anymore - Though instead we will do something special around Christmas time in its place. This should allow players to donate more consistent and not feel like there is a big sale around the corner and in turn miss out. (Some new prices are below the half off mark, some not) - You can donate with stable confidence.

[New Battle!CAPTURE THE FLAG!Thank you to all those who did the first run. -- We will better and tweak the course as we go.It runs 2 times a day.There are 2 teams on a new expansive course. You get to the other side near the enemies base and double click the flag to capture. Run it back to your base.You cannot capture a flag if yours is stolen. Kill the person carrying the flag!When you die, you will respawn to homebase. 10 seconds later you will be teleported back into the battle field. Use the course to your advantage. Like the 2 walls that run long close together. You can run in between them and are totally protected from anyone outside the walls. Same goes to any flats where you use stairs to get up too. No one can attack you from the ground.All players, new and old. Make sure to join all the Battles you possible can. You will see them announce in game when they are available to join. You do not have to be a pvper to join them. You lose absolutely nothing by joining, you never even actually die. BUT EVERYONE GETS A PVP COIN. Win or lose. You can buy great and rare items with this currency at the PvP Coin Arena!Happy Battling!]
