Seems that the company (which is a very large one) that hosts are dedicated machine is under a cyber attack, which effects all servers they host.

There website is even down.

The shard is online, but the connection is being attacked, feels like a DDoS.

I'll keep you guys posted. I am sure they are on top of it and stopping it as we speak.

Think of stuff that are really convenient for a player, or decoration that is really cool.Think items that will go in Donation Room, Pandora Coin Room, Voting Tokens & Trash Tokens.Take it one step further and put a fair price for each currency next to your idea.We rely on you guys to tell us which direction the shard should go. - New players will now start with a book that gives them 100 in all skills.

We came to the conclusion that the real game of Pandora is getting items, imbuing, and getting those skills to 120. This should not effect gameplay, only keep newer players who do not want to build a character for the 10th time in their 15 years of playing UO.

- All players will have a book in their backpack that will set any skills that are 99.9 and below to 100. This will not effect skills over 100.

- The last 2 crashes were from the shrink system. This has been fixed.

- Animal Lore will now display bonding info

- FixMe gump cannot be moved

- Vehicle / Boat movement packets are fixed.

- All Renowned Mini-Champ bosses now have a 1/10 chance to drop Relic Fragments

- GeoLocation optimised with async functions

- Various other optimizations & fixes.

BOATS

- Boats should no longer dissappear when you are wrapping around the map.

- Boats will keep the passengers in the boats when wrapping.

- Planks now check owner and keys when attempting to board from land.

- Boat placement target offset should now be accurate.

- Cleaned up the boat keys.



GARDEN SHED

- Added the Garden Shed. Can be bought from Trash tokens or Voting tokens or Pandora Coin room.

MISC.

- We now have a Memory Manager, this will help us keep tabs on shards memory usage and auto collect garbage data. This will help us prevent some of you from lagging.

- Voting is now counted by IP address. This will help prevent people from logging in multiple accounts collecting the voting tokens

- New Trash Reward, East/South Garden Shard

- There is a custom vendor, the Special Trash Man, find him in Insula.

- Vita-Nex Core got a complete upgrade

- Dark Father is 125k hit points as opposed to 200k

- Added better system workings for Broadcast scrolls (chance the ones now might wipe)

- Peerlesses should no longer get stuck when someone doesn't finish them.

- Champion Spawns cleaned up.

- Barracoon cleaned up.

- Champion code cleaned up and optimized.

- There is a new absolutely amazing effect when you kill a champion.

- Harrower cleaned up.

- Character Creation code cleaned up and optimized.

- Spellweaving should now be gainable past 117.5 by normal means.

- Cleaned Addon Base code

- The Resource box got a total overhaul & big upgrade.

- Added names to specific bags created with resources in them.

- Lowered Sea Horse Taming Requirement to 115

- Lowered Monstrous Interred Grizzle's damage by a fraction, apparently he eats armors durability.

- There is a completely new shrink system & the way shrunk pets are handled. You might not notice a ton difference on the surface, but it's a completely new system & engine.

- Rebooted the hardware on server & installed the most current security updates.

- Sea Horses are now 4 slots instead of 5, so you can have a crappy pet out to help.

Hey guys... Reply here for some ideas to put on the voting tokens stone to make them worth saving & your estimated REALISTIC price of what something should cost in Voting Tokens.


Vorspire has a large patch to put in I think sometime this week. We will be adding the house addon shed & a couple other things.

Looking for basic item ideas from you guys. Nothing too crazy. I'd like to hear a range of stuff... Something that costs 3 tokens to a lot of tokens.

Keep in mind that prices of Voting tokens shouldn't be calculated on how long it will take you to save them each day, as many players will sell theirs & it creates a good economy. Keep that in mind.

- Charybdis Loot is much better, with more bottles, nets,  & Sea Coins

- New Voting Site added on the [Vote menu. Allows you to now get 7 Voting Tokens a day, make sure you're typing in the captcha and voting when web browser pops up. We have ways of finding out if you're not & could get your voting tokens deleted.

- Removed the AFK check from Lumberjacking

- Removed all scrolls of transcendence. 99% of them were just taking up space. Apologize if this is an inconvenience. You can still get them.

VOTING

- Added a new voting system.

- Voting is now a window in the game. Type [Vote to vote for each site once a day, or click VOTE [NEW] on your toolbar. This will make it much easier for you guys to vote... and the best part....


NEW CURRENCY: VOTE TOKENS

- Each time you vote, you will get a little blue coin for each time you vote. These are called Vote Tokens.
*Like the Pandora Coins, Sea Coins, PvP Coins, this can buy special items. Save them, we will be placing many great unique voting items on a stone/vendor/window soon... Most likely next patch.


TOOLBARS

- All Toolbar configurations have been reset. If you want to make them custom again, do so.

- Some wording changes.

- Now has the new VOTE [NEW] Button for the New Voting System


MISC.

- Conflagration, Explosion, and Confusion Blast Potions will now only affect targets once per tick. (major nerd to the conflag glitch)

- Enemy of One notoriety fix, mobile should appear orange instantly instead of waiting for them to move.

- Void Orb drops on Korpres raised slightly.


CHAMPIONS

- Champions now have a 5% chance to award a 120 Powerscroll. This is much better than it was & much better than what it is supposed to be. It seems low, but you should see the difference.

- Cleaned up the code for Special Scrolls & Champions.
* This includes loot, which removes potential item leaks and ensures you get a reward if one is due, even if it means it drops at your feet.



BATTLES

- The Battles System: The [Battles command will now list all battles on first page instead of by category.

- The Battle Necklace is back for reward. Since Seasons go very quickly now, only the first place person will get it. (he/she can sell it to other if he starts getting several) -- This has +3 FC, a great looking graphic (a hanging cross, totally unique) and is Imbuable.
*It should also have your name engraved on it. No we are not currently making it so you can remove the name, as it is no different than a maker's mark on crafting things.

- The other 9 Runner Ups in Battles will each get 10 PvP Coins

*Note that we are collaborating on some other pvp rewards, this is just temporary.

- You should have noticed there are some new Battles

*Remember, all players should join these as much as possible. PvPers, Non-PvPers, heck even Young players. You lose nothing, it only takes a few minutes, and everyone gets a PvP Coin for trying. They are completely risk-free & safe.




Another patch should come fairly quickly. It will focus on more of your guys suggestions on forums & new items in game, like the shed, etc.

Another new year on Pandora.


BOATS

- Fixed Dry Docking for normal boats
- Fixed Z-axis travel for normal boats, this should resolve random sinking
*Still a work in progress.

Treasure of Tokuno
- Updated ToT framework:
- Pandorian hues are again available for Pigments of Tokuno rewards
- Optimized and cleaned code-base


ADD-ONS
- Added [AddonGen command for generating Addon scripts
- Addons Updated
- Implemented new IAddonComponent interface
- Added ContainerAddonComponent class for making components into containers instead of the Addon itself


GARDEN SHED
- Added house-based accessibility checks for containers
- Changed default gump to wooden chest
- Removed donator tags from deed and shed
- Added messages for alerting when an upgrade can't be afforded
- Added Garden Shed Addon and donator versions, both East and South facing
- Garden shed uses unique container upgrade feature
- Garden Shed is a cool thing to place in your house & can store virtually unlimited amount of items if you keep updating it.

*Will be a Pandora Coin reward very soon. This is brand new on paid shards & on the updated client. Make sure you're updated all the way.
