General Discussion / Re: Stone/Glass equipment
April 13, 2013, 04:43:57 PM
Ok sorry to bring this thread back up again, but just wanted to point out a few items that I thought should be repairable with glassblowing and mallet and chisel since they can repair glasses and stone items.

Pillar of Strength - I believe is a Stone artificat correct? You can repair the Giant Steps which are stone legs with Mallet and chisel but not the shield. Not entirely sure why, and I'm sure it's not you're doing but could this be added?

Glass Sword/Staff - Glasses can be repaired but not glass equipment? I'm not really sure if there are any other pieces of equipment that can't be repaired that is glass but these are the only two I personally can't repair.

I'm not really sure how easy it would be to add them to the gumps, or if this is intended to be kept this way. Would be appreciated though :)

What does PVP have to do with collecting rough stones? If you are referring to the fact that the stones drop only in fel, there are an infinite amount of places that are clear to farm them that no one hunts. I'd like to see more fel interactions myself, but I enjoy PVP.

General Discussion / Re: 5 houses per account?

Ok the only exception I can see it being good for it guild claimed areas. Like the NPA area and such was all NPA members and it was a very nice zone. If there was a way to buy "land" instead of having to place a house to prevent someone from placing a house that would be nice. I can see a 5 house limit being a good set.

I think a house limit should be implemented, No reason you should be able to have unlimited houses. All the space that was taken due to house decay not being turned on has been taken over once again by people looking to hoard space. 3 houses per account, with 3 accounts allowed would be 9 houses. No one needs more than that.

I do not hit the 2 second bandage speed until 205 dex on my gargoyle. Anyone know a reason for this?

Ok tested Vorspire and nope can't repair them with glassblowing. I mean it wouldn't be that bad if I didn't have to worry about it breaking everytime the durability gets low

I think he's referring to all the caps in the game. While some are easy to figure out because they cap on the mystats page, there are some that aren't so straightforward such as HP/Stam/Mana caps and their regens. While I would provide you with this information, everything I know is hearsay from multiple different sources that all gave me different information.

If anyone does answer his questions then help me out and answer mine. Can the HCI and DCI reduction from lower attack/defense be offset by stacking more HCI and DCI or does it lower the actual cap? I'm thinking it lowers the cap but it would be nice for actual clarification.

Sorry didn't mean glasses Cyrus was referring to things like the Glass sword and Glass Staft. Neither can be repaired to my knowledge, if I'm wrong someone please inform me :)

Is there any possible way that there will (in the future) be a way to repair these items? It gets kind of expensive and annoying having to buy Fortifying powders just to repair and having to hope you don't let the durability get to low and it breaking on you.

70% is fine is something I wouldn't argue, I was thinking 70 would be a good middle ground, 60 was a little too much of a hit though. No complaints here :)

60% chance? While I agree that 98% was too high, 60 is too low. Hard to find a good median though.

I'm really liking this guy. He takes the monotony out of mindless grinding and gives me something to laugh about. Keep it up bro!

Only issue I've had with crashing is whenever Scallis is killed my AUO crashes and whenever I attempt to open the corpse. So avoiding scallis seems to be my only problem.
