Alas, this mornings news says it may have been too close to the sun and might have broken up, so sad I've been following this for months hoping we would get the largest comet in modern history, im still crossing my fingers....Nigel

I reserved myself to getting drunk and looking at things through binoculars with friends. Seemed legit.

Now they are saying that a smaller mass of the comet may have survived, so we might still see something.  ....Nigel

Yeah? Last I heard, the nucleus had broken up due to tidal forces and the only thing left was a trail of dust/debris.

Either way, I don't think whatever is left will give us much of a show, it will probably fizzle out soon.
