I had been having issues with the Circle. When I would go into the jungle it wouldn't work on the trees. So after much research and thanks to Stratics I have found the answer. In your Ultima folder you will find a file called UO.cfg. Open the file with notepad and scroll down until you see Circle of Transparency 200. You can set the radius from 200 to 750. Tho it states at 750 at times it may crash your client. I have mine set at 600 without any problems. There are also several other things on the UO.cfg file you can change.

Sometimes you might need to have a fresh install of Ultima Online. This could be for reasons such as you cannot see new tiles even tho you are fully patched or you seem to be crashing alot or many other reasons.
According to UO, you will uninstall UO. Make sure any desktop or task bar icons are deleted and go into you C: and make sure you game folder is gone. Now the most important 2 steps follow. Second, you will run a ScanDisc and Third, Defragment. Only after you have done all of this should you install Ultima again. This will guarentee there will be no pieces of old install still hanging around.  Personally if I am having to reinstall Uo I will also be getting a new install of UO Steam. Like UO make sure all icons are deleted and the Steam folder is deleted. But before you do that I highly recommend  you read the forum on how to save your Steam macros and hotkeys to a new install. Pre Discord, Pandora's Forums were the place to go to learn, to get advice, but most of all to stay current about Pandora and it's people. Discord is fine but unless you are online and reading through the multitude of posts you miss much information. I miss Forums, I miss our voice. It is time to get it back. I urge us all to start posting on Forums again. WE need it. This is just my opinion.

I am not having any luck getting a Heartwood runic from the quest. Has the drop rate changed? Is anyone else having the same problem? Going through 10k bolts without at least 1 Heartwood runic is terrible odds, so you try another 10k bolts without any success again and now something has changed. There are 15 uses per Heartwood runic and it may take you more than 100 uses to make one bow worth keeping. Is there a reason for the decline in Heartwood runics?

I wont bore you with what I don't know other than it was definitely refreshed and also checked on by Friends and Neighbors, we watch out for each other.  Anyway, if any of you were fortunate enough to be there for the event, Glad you made it. Better you than "The Big Poof". If  anyone by chance got the chest on the porch with all of my mining books [over 30] I will MOST happily make it worth your while.  The house was named The House of Blues and behind it was a brown castle. Having to redo your Steam macros can be a nightmare when you have to reinstall Steam. To prevent this before you uninstall your Steam program go into your program files and open your Steam folder, take the profile folder and place it onto your desktop. Once you have reinstalled Steam switch out the profile folders. 

I will share what I know. I do bods to get runic sewing kits to get mats. When you get a runic kit, on the tailoring menu check the unravel box and make leather caps, they use the least leather. No matter what kind of sewing kit I have I tend to always use horned leather. I tend to get the most mats I am after from spined,horned,barbed kit/
horned leather.

For those of you wanting your own runic hammers to get mats you must make sure you check the unravel box on the smith menu then I suggest making daggers, they only use three ingots. I like to use dull copper hammer with shadow ingots or a shadow hammer with shadow ingots.

Does this mean I registered?

Is it possible for a player's in game 'Bad Luck' to be soooo bad that, for example, you do over 30 Peerless Infested Boss in a four or five day period without even a kiss goodbye or a wave at the gate afterward?  I do know the reward is in the effort, but everyone needs an "atta boy" once in awhile to help keep their "drive alive". When you just know its going to be the next boss, ok well the next, or the next, your determination kicks in. Mine does and I'm all effort. It's not supposed to be easy or quick to come, but what does it take? Maybe I am injecting the wrong body part (lol) ?  Other than, I would just like to know if this is normal? (those were not my first infested bosses, champions etc)  If it is, so be it. I will persist for awhile, but eventually 'it' will become less than important. I am not whining. I personally am becoming BORED. Show me something! Make me believe it is worth my days and hours of effort or at least, maybe a friendly wave at the gate.

Sometimes we patch our client.exe before EasyUo has updated their client, causing EasyUo to stop working. To safe guard from
"NO Supported Client" when starting EasyUo,
there is a simple solution supplied by EasyUo Forums.

BEFORE YOU PATCH YOUR CLIENT!!!

Open your Ultima Online program folder and find the client.exe, you will then copy and paste it right back into same folder. It will be named
client.exe(copy). You can leave it there or you can zip or rar the copy and leave in the folder.

If you find yourself without EasyUo, simply go to your UO folder and replace your client.exe with your client.exe(copy) and EasyUo will run.
You must remove the client.exe from the folder so it will run on the client.exe(copy).
To keep the original client.exe safe, I recommend that you rar or zip it and drop it right back into your UO folder.
Once EasyUO has updated their client, exchange your client.exe(copy) for the client.exe.
This also keeps you from having to repatch UO.

Remember, make sure you always have a copy of your current client.exe before PATCHING, you will never be without Easy!

The new server seems wonderful. Im definately loading faster. When the mini patches went in early this morning, I and several others began experiencing total freeze up upon entering a dungeon and starting to fight. It doesn't seem to disconnect but after logging out and back in, almost immediately you are frozen again. I entered Bedlam champ spawn, made it to the bottom of the stairs and was completely frozen. After logging in and out several times I made it out. Once I was outside I was fine, no freezing up. I went to Prism of Lights. exact same thing happened there, pvm room same. If your working in your house or running errands, imbuing etc, everything is as it should be. Please look into this as soon as possible. Thanks Miki

Not to long after Elemental Crystals became the most important, hardest to obtain imbuing material on Pandora, they were added to SoS and TMap chests, special Khaldun chests amd more. Not in great numbers, but random, maybe every 5 to 8 maps you would dig, you would get a crystal(s). Having removed them, makes them sooooo much harder to get for all of us. Those of us, like myself, who help the new or younger players get the boost they need to hunt and explore Pandora, or just helping a neighbor who needs crystals, will find themselves helping less and less. Not because they want to, but because they won't have the extra resources. I have never charged anyone to do their imbuing and if they don't have materials it doesn't matter. To tell new and young players "No imbue without mats" is just keeping them unable to grow, to become excited about the next level, and ultimately becoming the long time player. I remember my first good weapon, it was forged and fully imbued by Jest so I could go to a Champion spawn With Nigel Horns and Jest. I only lasted 10 minutes before I died, but I was so excited. It made me want to be bigger, badder, stronger, and work harder to get there. I still use that axe 800 days later. By removing the crystals I beleive in the long run it's going to lessen our ability to Pay it Forward. Just a thought!  Please rethink your decision.  Thanks  Miki

I have always used Razor.  Steam wont load the fonts mul or the speech mul, nor can I remember my admin acct password and no Idea how to change it, lol.  Anyway,  razor loads, client loads, I put in my password and eventually it says cannot connect to server. I tried a few other servers on razor and got onto shard no problem. I Use play.pandorauo.com  2593 and or 69.182.80.2 neither is getting me onto shard. Is there anything else that could be blocking me from the server?  Help!   Miki

Can anyone tell me if the vanilla seeds are still a drop on  Exodus Minions and Overseers?  Would be great to know for sure before hours spent in the persuit of them. Thanks   Miki
