Yes there are some very rich players hoarding gold but if you didn't count the top 10 or so players gold I wonder what the average player has.
I don't hoard it, i spend it. I think before the last 1/2 sale i spent about 200 mill gold... no damage done, i guess, when i give it back to the world?
my peak was 50 mil, I usually hover around the 10 mil mark... so who wants to give me some money? :D

To be able to buy what you want/need you have to collect gold. :)
And since people went crazy with the pbuck prices you have to collect even more before you can buy anything ;)
And if this 5 billion are the gold of all accounts here i dont think it's that much cause we have alot accounts. (yes i know it's alot but split that to i dont know how many hundred accounts^^)
so at the average 1.5 mil per pbuck you could buy it all for $3570.82
