I'm mainly interested in the giant steps, void infused kilt, and venom

Last I remember, the SA arties drop on the corpse, not in your backpack. So make sure to thoroughly look through the corpses.

They do drop. Rarely, but that's how it should be. And yes, they drop on the corpses, not your bag. I've gotten them before.
