So what do you do? Sure you have people who hunt without macroing. But others who dont follow rules, will find every way to exploit the system best they can. The way the system is now, its all about you kill, kill, kill, kill, kill. the way most things are. There can be many solutions to this issue. All in which will seem unfair and make people complain. Typical solutions are as follows....

Just try and do that in the fan dancer's dojo or yomotsu mines (only places where ToTs will drop, and also Fel ruleset areas in tokuno) and you'll find yourself dead, with no tots. I can assure you that.

Are you sure he got that in the newbie dungeon? because felucca yields 2x fame and karma gains...ter mur (facet the newbie dungeon is in), being trammel ruleset, yields very low fame and karma gains.

It removes stat bonuses granted by gear, I believe. Just take it off/put it on again.

that's a way around it, but i'd rather duel without bonuses than have to take my stuff off/on every duel...

it's going to get really hard to farm tots as dojo and mines will become popular places for hunting once drop rates get raised again, so i believe that will be enough to balance the economy.

Does he mean that equation resets once you receive and arty? Or is he saying that even if the equation gets better each time you kill a mob it can randomly reset itself even if you don't get an arty?

as far as i know it resets after an arty drops.

I believe pigments aren't meant to be common anyway...the best colors like that neon green, berserker red and such should be VERY rare, so there's no point on having them flooding the shard...
Getting your stuff (arties...) colored should give you a kind of "status" and not simply make you like everyone else.

How's max hp calculated here? i've looked at stratics and uoguide for the formula but stratics says it's "(STR/2)+50+STR bonus", uoguide says it's "(STR/2)+50", and none of those result in my max hp  :?

In addition to what Kon has said, IRL luck counts too (i'm not saying you must be a lucky ... to get arties), but while luck hunting around ilsh i killed like 6 para balrons, 15 blood elementals, and a real ton of other stuff (ranging from headless to elder gazers) without a single arty drop, then i kill an ettin on my pvp suit and get an arty. sounds lame, but that was just the equations giving me bad results, then a lucky equation off the last kill.

You shouldn't, democracy makes it so you can actualy post your opinion in here, otherwise we wouldn't have a "general discussion" forum.

Sorry if i didn't want to shoot an option like "GIVE ME +10 HP FOR BEING HUMAN" because i wanted to hear other people's opinions. I believe the Dev team knows how to balance the game to fit the shard's features (to me it seems that you never played a shard like this, and tell you this: I have for over 5 years).

enough with joking currently race system is pretty balanced and designed by game engineers. So I am okay with that =)
