Stuck at creating character

I go to the point where you selected your starting town (The only one that is allowed and below the map it says Ter Mur).  I hit the right arrow and then get stuck on the grey window that pops up and says "Creating Character."  I didn't see on your website under "Play Now" which update to use so I let it update all the way.  Could this be the problem?  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

i don't know if this is the case, but maybe you're using the 3d client instead of the 2d and that's why it can't load the world.

you need to be using client version 7.0.15.1.
