After a little discussion, it was decided it would be more beneficial to new players to make more of an informational welcome center.

If anyone has ideas to contribute regarding what would be helpful to someone that's just arrived on Pandora, please pm me. Any and all ideas will be appreciated.

I just wanted to say thank you for the recent activity! It's great for the Pandora when the admins are interacting with the players, asking for our input, and implementing some of the things we suggest.

In the past few months, we've seen a nice influx of new players to Pandora.

It's good to see people out there joining guilds, gearing up, and having fun.

I'd like to jot down a few things I think would help us retain these players and perhaps get new players in the near future.

1. Vote daily. It's something that's easily forgotten, but can make a difference if everyone does it on a daily basis. Just type [vote and then go to the 3 websites, prove you aren't a bot, and vote for Pandora. You get tokens and help the server. Remind people in your guild to vote!

2. Activity. Talk to new players. Help new players. Answer questions in global. Even if you don't have an answer, simply replying in global will let people know you somewhat care. Take a minute or two to show them around or give them a piece of gear.

3. Etiquette. No matter how bad of a day one of us has, in game or IRL, we should try to be civil to our friends and enemies on Pandora. After all, we are one community, even if we pvp, fight, etc.

4. Forums. Encourage new players to join the forums and post. Activity breeds activity.

That's all I have at the moment. I know none of these ideas are new, but a reminder now and then doesn't hurt.

I have to be honest here...I'm getting a little tired of KDL's antics.

All Islander wants to do is sit in his castle and dye things blue.

So, here I am wondering "How did my life get to this point?"

Are there any guilds out there that would take me? I really can't offer much. I can AI spam pretty good, I guess.

KDL is currently working toward holding weekly pvp tournaments in Buc's Den. We've started to design a house just off the docks there which you can get to from any public moongate. Go to Pandorian Settlements and at the very bottom you'll see KDL's Dock House and Arena.

Don't worry, all the houses are public, and safe, aside from the actual 12x8 (or something like that) duel pit itself. Feel free to visit and check it out. We're in the process of decorating in grand Trammel fashion, so don't mind us if we're frolicking around and arguing about which designs make a room "pop".

Our end goal is to have a place to hold events where people will want to gather outside of the Luna bank. We will start by holding a grand opening tournament to which we provide the purse money and awards. It will be a "no entry fee" tourney. If it goes over well, we'll start to hold more events...some will require entry fees, some will not.

I will personally be looking for deco items for the house plots, so PM me if you have pirate/seaworthy themed items, liquor and food rares, house decor rares, etc. that you'd like to donate or sell. Anything donated will be placed in the housing complex and will not be resold..ever.

If anyone has any ideas, feel free to let 'em fly.

Eventually, we're going to try to get the entire area pvp enabled so it will be a complete pvp experience...ffa pvp, attacking to and from shore, house hiding and stealing, etc. I do live there and if you're able to PK or rob me, all the better. It's pixels and I won't hold a grudge if anyone gets the best of me. But, until then, it's safe.
