Sooo how does this actually work? I got -10 on a bunch of pieces on my suit and the same amount of monsters attack me as if I'm using a different char that doesn't have it on their suit. Is it broke? Am I doing something wrong? I'm curious because I wanted to add it to Kendra's suit so things wouldn't attack her as much but I'm not seeing a difference in it at all.
if i understand the whole deal correctly, SOME monsters, not all, choose whoever they attack with the threat factor, most monsters just attack the players that is closest. Sums it up pretty easily i think
If I'm correct those stats (combat threat critical etc...) are new ones introduced by Vorspire. We may have to wait a bit before seeing monsters using them, I think it is aimed for future additions more than existing content.
It was in place before April when I came back. Just a warning it's only good for rating points.
I agree, I think the combat threat was designed for future additions as I have not noticed the slightest differance with current monsters....Nigel
Has anyone tested this with a group. when fighting with just a pet most boss style mobs attack either me or my pet whoever is doing most damage.
Would it be too much to assume that if you have one player increase threat and one decrease threat the the player with increase would attract the mobs.
This is how I understood it and planned to decrease my kids so that I tanked most of the time when we hunt as a group
