General Discussion / Connection Lost
October 17, 2011, 05:46:51 AM
Anyone else having issues getting logged in?

I have three accounts, am logged in with the secondary two, but my main one keeps saying 'Connection Lost'. I was logged in, hunting, went to buy some repairs in Luna and got the message, now it is each time I try to log in.

General Discussion / Boards or Museum Rewards?
September 03, 2011, 05:22:19 PM
Hi guys,

Does anybody still buy the museum rewards or would I be better off selling bulk boards?

Also, need a price check on all boards  :P

Thanks

Hi all,

I'm confused. I've been playing a couple of weeks now and before this I hadn't played UO since before SA, so have no idea how OSI's imbuing system worked nor do I care, I understand things are different here and as such am struggling to find a guide that is suitable. And yes, I have read this guide which was interesting but doesn't really answer my confusion - or I missed it.

Here goes;

1: Where do I train imbuing? Other guides said NPC artificiers near the public soul forge in Royal City - I see none, I checked the Holy City as well.
2: Unravelling - what 'colour' (name) items can I unravel? Some guides say "trash loot", I'm sure a friend gave me a 'grey' item to unravel when they were showing me the interface for it. I understand clothing is not possible but metal armour with a grey name just gives me a message that it cannot be unravelled.
3: I read that an 'unravel container' option is available but I do not see this.
4: I understand standard caps apply (8% LMC, 20% LRC etc) but I'm reading conflicting stories about how to get from 0/existing value to cap and wondering if someone can quickly run this by me here. Do you increase gradually or go straight for the big one?

I'm sure I'll have a million more questions after a while, but these are my main concerns right now, most other things I can figure out through trial and error.

Thanks in advance.

General Discussion / Non-PvP Hunting
August 18, 2011, 05:41:00 PM
New guy here, almost ready to start hunting... but...

Before ML was released I played on a normal shard and used to hunt at Memorial for Gwenno (Ilsh) for minor artifacts, Fandancers for Treasures of Tokuno and if I was in a good mood and didn't mind getting my ass handed to me I'd go to Doom Gauntlet for the real artifacts. But all my old haunts are PvP and I can't stand PvP - not to knock the system or people that do, I just never have liked it.

So can anyone recommend some decent hunting locations that are non-PvP yet still have a chance of giving me something half decent?

Thanks in advance!

General Discussion / Wiki?
August 08, 2011, 10:25:05 AM
On browsing free servers (and stopping once I'd found one I liked the sound of - Pandora) I noticed that many of them tend to have their own Wiki to cover the changes from the vanilla UO game. Does Pandora have one? If so, can someone point me in it's direction? If not, I will leave this sad face to register my support for a Pandora Wiki...

Introduce. Hello. / Greetings
August 07, 2011, 08:09:31 AM
Hey guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Godric, I'm from England and I played Ultima Online years ago - I left just after ML launch. I wanted to return but couldn't stomach paying a monthly fee for a game so looked up free ones and that is how I ended up here :)

I'm a PvM player. I'm usually quite a social person so I guess it wont be long before I'm looking for a guild to join (once I've L2P again).

I actually have some questions which I'll post in the general or help forums if I don't get them answered here;

When I used to play, Doom Gauntlet was THE thing to do, is that still the case or has something took it's place?

Has Doom Gauntlet difficulty been adjusted to suit a lower populated server?

This last one is a bit of a mix. I'm training a Bard/Mage - the skills seem easy enough to train up, I know how to train my stats but it is taking an age, and I have a 100% LRC suit (but it's the new player one with a bracelet with the remaining 10% on). Based on that information;
What is the fastest way to train up my Strength and Intelligence?
How long do I have the 90% suit for? (it said limited time on the bag)
What is the best place for me to train and start getting gold and good items outside of the new player dungeon? (I find the rooms too small)

Thanks in advance and I hope to see you around :)
