Topics - GM NollKoll

-Added Balance for Spellbooks in the imbuing menu. (It's two different runes, so its under casting!)

-Necklace of Tranquility got its calmful mind upgraded to the range of 3-6% (Older necklaces will get a random 1-3% extra).

-Champion spawns will now send out a broadcast ingame, when a champion has been awokened. (This is more of a test, due to fel being so vast, so aquiring a high end ps isn't so dangerous as it could be).

-Weapons will not trigger the lightning effect on champion spawns. (Hit lightning).

-Curse will now apply a resistance debuff to monsters, the same amount you get in penetration. (3,6,9,12,15% at 200,250,300,350,400 int). This debuff lasts 20 seconds.

-Paralyze have now a rewritten formula. Still uses the servuo copy Vorspire added in, and i re-did my intelligence checks in it. The smarter the caster is vs the opponent, the longer the paralyze duration. Up to 8 seconds total.
Casters that are 'dumber' but still within 50 intelligence away from the opponent, will still paralyze their opponent by 1 second.
And there will be a minimum duration of 0,75 seconds regardless.

-Added a nice Xmas tree, that kon and me going to give away some day! We will try announce with a good notice!

-Some nice QoL changes with harvesting. Bonus resources aquired in a fel rule map will now also be double. (Normal resources has always been double). But now will also the bonus resources aquired via mining/fishing/lumberjacking. Lumberjack timers has been set to same as mining (how long time it will take until you can mine/lumber from same area again). Which is 10 to 20 minutes.
The amount of resource you can get per tree has greatly been increased. (Sometimes one chop and you were finished in fel. Not that fun!). The bonus resources in mining have been tweaked a bit, otherwise lumberjacking has the same odds. But you will now get two bonus resources in felucca.
(Should make the whole experience funnier, and easier to macro?)
-You will also get a 'free' calmful mind bonus in PvM only, aquired via your meditation skill.
This tops at 5% at 125% skill. (4% at 120% skill). Will help those that havnt aquired all their items they need yet, or just help in general for mages in PvM.

Upcoming Events / White Walker Invasion Event

Here comes a invasion event for you all!

I will keep it simple!

The event will be in Trammel only this time! Time to be friendly!
Since i guess it will be chaotic enough.

And in Skara Brae. It's Western parts is small and squere enough for the the needs of my event.

It will run while im away, and maybe a tad longer, depends when kon's event he is planning is coming. (He mentioned a few weeks ago he an idea for an event on discord).
But i guess around 3-4w?

Special monsters:
Dolphins: Chance of dropping a aquarium creature, a large list of different creatures for all sort of aquarium needs you have, where 10% can drop in a rare hue. Comes in 2 rare oceanic hues. There is a 10% droprate of these creatures.

Elementals: 10% droprate of a ship in a bottle, also comes in 2 different hues, 10% for it to be a special hue. Flippable bottle.

Cursing Lich: Will have a 100% droprate of a extremely random spellbook artifact.

Llama: ????

White Walker: 34% Chance for giving a random player that has aquired looting rights a white walker spear artifact.
100% Chance to give a random player that has aquired looting rights a piece of a bonfire.
(Craft a bonfire in the tinkering menu, each piece is a deco on its own. To build a bonfire you need 8 bonfire stones, 5 bonfire logs and 1 bonfire hearth).
But yes, the piece will go into a random players backpack.

Only telling you this once! Be smart! The White walker might not be that powerful alone.

The event is from what i think, should be quite new player friendly apart from the white walker.

-Fixed an issue in AI which made enemy creature tamers have some differenses which they couldnt resolve, which ended up in fighting.
-Added something in the tinkering menu, read in the event information for more on that.
-A event boss and two new creatures for the event added. Could find other uses for them at a later stage.
-Fixed a incorrect message in bane essence parts.



Then only a part of what Vorspire is bringing to the table:
-Cleaned and optimized the void pool
-Updated the entire project to NET 4.7.2 (Better compiling, performance etc)
-Alot of support and pre-work done for my dungeon bosses
-Add support for displaying mobile health bars that exceed 65k.
-Add support for a Heal and Cure blocking mechanic.
-Fixed an issue where monsters of the same team could be enemies.
-Fixed an issue with Good fight mode targeting.
-Fixed the leak which caused us to go over 5m items.(Or gain crap items in the 'log out' map rapidly).
-Updated the Core to 5.3
-Updated a few issues with AI
-Rewrote battle system, so do Nag on king kon to reimplement the battle system! Who wouldnt want some CTF!


But yea, he did a ****ton of behind the scenes stuff, which should make things alot smoother, and more to come! (I know booting my test server is alot quicker now on my pc).
This is just me narrowing down more than the 100 scripts he changed, into a more easy to read info.

-Fixed Map 97 in the tmap books, i know there is a few more locations that needs to be fixed, but i leave it to another day.
-Ring of the Vile can now be exchanged at the artifact exchanger.
-Peacock feathers will now explain a bit better what you will create.
-Rattooth dagger should now give proper damage. (Same as a normal dagger, but has better attributes, that fits a new player alot better)
-Added Paladin sword to blacksmith menu! Also added a few things to tailoring, i will mention these more at the bottom.
-Treasuremap chests will no longer yield gold above 60k stacks.
-Reworked how alcoholic beverages work, could this have something todo with a certain saint?
-Added remove trap to powerscroll drop list, all hail this wonderful scroll to the droptable.
-Added a few new things to the void pool reward table!
First off, Chivalrys Demise, a red-text paladin sword.
And then, 4 different luck scrolls! This is mostly end game grinding for those that want, they will add a weighted probability of 1-9 luck on any equipment that has luck in a certain range.
The first scroll works between 100 and 149 luck (add upto a 150) and they add luck up to steps of 50, up to 300 luck total on an equipment. Where the first scroll is very cheap to buy (75! points)
And a small mini event while im gone!
The Silk Trader!
a silk trader have arrived at Pandora, he will sell you some extremely expensive silk cloths, he will randomly pop in and out in various locations, but he will broadcast (ingame only, not on discord) which locations he have appeared at, and which map.
I will most likely start placing it in lost lands somewhere, and i might move the spawner around later, but most likely 50% chance if its trammel or fel it spawns.
With silk cloths you can craft a tuxedo  suit, even a top hat! Or a wedding dress if you so like? But also some new fancy hooded robes. Rumours even say it has some other stuff, that might fit into your easter decorating, or even st patrick days celebrating, and more!

But yea give me a couple of minutes and i set it up ingame after the server started

Shard Changes / small hotfix before xmas 18

- Ally and guild pvp should no longer give/lose any points or coins.
- Bane could somehow be applied to ranged weapons, even if they shouldnt. Those affected have gotten the urn returned.
-The lost soul scroll (soul to powerscroll) have been modified so its a bit easier to understand what it does. (Soul exchange deed of power - Will give you a random 125% PS upon use, and you need to kill infested champions to get a 'soul'. The soul's are stored even if you do not buy the deed, and have been for quite some time. (You will get a warning message when you got maybe 5 more than whats needed to exchange).
-Wild turtles and wild tigers will now drop the set pieces much more easily, they still need to be buffed once, but you can kill em after the buff is lost.
-The insula training chest will now properly work. (i might still need to re-lock em ingame first though)
-Infested champ spawn did not spread before, since it was a way to prevent champ spawns to be permanently infested and just spread and spread. Remodeled a bit, so paragons should still spread etc, so it might be a tiny bit trickier.. but its just a test to see how it works.'
-Alot of things from NPC's are now available in a larger quantity.
-House placement now req. another X-axis free area, due to the added east steps (which was added ages ago)
-Hiding now differs if its a creature or a player it hides from, where a player its harder
The formula is now:
(125 - Hiding Skill ) divided by 6 (with a max result of 18) and if its a player, plus 3 in range.
a GM hiding player can hide from monsters 5 tiles away (4.16 result) and 8 tiles away if its a player.
a 120% player would be able to hide from monsters 1 tile away, or 4 tiles away if its a player.

Ok managed to pull this one trough before i have to leave for 2 weeks! Important that you try to read as much as possible about this event, and especially the rules!

General intro:
This year you have to face the spoopiest monster ever! And face him in his own home!

The event will take place in the same dungeon as the hallowed void event i did a few years back, but new monsters and new mechanic!
Each monster will tell you how many decos/items it can drop, and in how many special colors.
(Sure makes their name a bit more boring, but hey, more info is nice!)
(And the special rare hue for the bat deco is quite hard to spot, but it is very slightly different, but you will see its eyes alot better with this hue)

The first area is pretty scarce with monsters, and it has a healer and a corpse stone there.

The main dungeon is pretty much straightforward, normal dungeon typed event that i have done in the past.
This year there will be no headless knight! (or will there? hah hah hah hah)
But this years twist is the spoopiest boss you ever met!

You need to slaughter the pumpkin wards that keeps the boss away from this realm, find each ward in each of the broken towns. (will make sense when you are there)
Kill 30 of them, and the gate to the boss will appear for 1hour! (the gate will spawn near the normal gate)

The Boss! (The Spoopiest) [The Competition]
Ok this one will be quite the different one!
The boss will remain in the mansion for one hour after spawning it..
You will not be able to kill it, but that is not the point either!

Your goal is to make as much damage to it as possible, during the period of this event.
Pet's will not give you any damage points, but will act as temporary tanks. (But it does walk slowly).
Damage done to this boss is stored on your person, and will remain troughout the whole event, so when the boss despawns and then when it spawns again, the damage will NOT reset. (The damage you have done towards the boss that is).
You will understand when you hit it.

From time to time when you hit it, it will tell you how much damage you have done to the boss in total.
(This is the only way for you to know how much damage you have done to it).

When the event is over (sometimes after November 10th.. could be November 11th or some day after there)
The player that have the most damage to the boss, wins!
And the grand price is the huge pumpkin you see in Luna bank.
There will be more rewards than the pumpkin, everyone that have atleast tried and done some damage will get a peacock feather and some deco.
And the more you score, the more peacock feathers you will  get and possibly other deco.
(Peacock feathers is needed to make the new peacock ethy mount for those that missed it)

But for now i think that only the grand winner will get that huge pumpkin (plus peacock feathers and the other deco the other players get)

What you need to be careful of when you are fighting the boss!
Im going to be kind to you all, and tell you exactly what the bosses main abilities are, to help you survive! (Insurance cost is disabled in the mansion region, ie you will not loose insurance in that region)

-Pumpkin ray!
From time to time, the boss will spew out pumpkins, and has a chance to combo this laser several times. Each time it goes a little bit faster.
During the laser, he will loose 50% in all resists, and each time he combo it, he will loose another 50% resist.
So he will be at minus 150% resist at the max combo. (Time to use those crushing blow weapons to deal devastating damage to it!)
Damage level: ++++
Range: Circle

-Pumpkin Bomb!
This is a nice treat for all the ones that cast spells or have spells on their weapons.
He will throw a pumpkin bomb at your location, and it will do a countdown and explode after 3 seconds.
(The more spells the boss gets, the higher the chance he will throw this)
Damage level: ++++++
Range: 2 tiles around the pumpkin bomb.

-Magic Pumpkin Missile!
This special ability will come from time to time, the more hits from weapons the boss gets, the larger the chance it will do this ability. It will spawn a magic missile for each player around. You will get a huge red text warning when he is doing this ability, and when he spawns the pumpkin missiles, it will take 2 seconds before they arm themself. So if you see a magic missile pumpkin spewing fire when it runs towards you, run faster! (Players furthur away from the boss will have their stamina reset to 0, to give melee players a fair chance)
Damage level: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Range: 1 tile around it when it explodes, but the missiles can only travel 25 tiles before running out of fuel and explodes.

Plus some other abilities like melee reflect or magic reflect, and a spoopy gump attack.
(It will switch colors when it reflects)

The boss will also give out a very nice deco once you reach a million damage mark. (You will get a message and the deco will be given to you in your backpack.. This deco can also be d-clicked at your own risc to get a very unique costume of the boss. (This costume is not in the random costume deeds)

Otherwise the boss will walk quite slowly and its melee damage aint that terrible.



Ok time for rules and important info!

-Your corpse cannot be looted by other players, neither in main dungeon nor in the mansion.

-The Mansion is completely safe from PvP

-The main dungeon will fall under my usual halloween ruleset, 'Semi-PvP allowed'
It is a Felucca rules dungeon, but!!!!!!!!! (your corpse cannot get looted for one thing).
This is important so listen up, I will allow players to kill other players '1-2' times, maybe 3 during the whole event. So yea, if someone overdoes it, please send a screenshot to me! very important, and bring in your journal in that screenshoot too!.
Exceptions to this rule: If they are fighting you (Macro accidents can happen, but try not to overdo it, i dont want to see PvP players trying to completely ruin it for non-PvP players). So yea, if they try to kill you too, and actually kill you.. you are a fair person to hunt, but also if the player is trash talking, hunt is on!
Otherwise, if you are a PvPer, abide by these rules or get punished.
Sounds a bit wierd yes, but it have worked in the past. No point in trying to change this. It is a way to try to be fair to everyone.
-There is a small area around the public gate that works as a safe zone, good to know!
-There are stealables in this event, even a major one. Dont ask about them!
-And this should be obvious, but do not afk farm in the event (or afk farm monsters at all.. This is your only warning)
-Have fun!

And the final thing,
HOW TO ENTER the event, you need to have read the rules carefully, and read about the competition boss, and try to compete, participants will get a reward too!
But to enter, you need to say "Yes to spoopy" to the pumpkin in Luna bank! (You gotta stand near it, and after 1 second it will teleport you to the dungeon)

-Updated my account cleaning script, to hopefully reduce some item counts etc and in that reduce lag, it will work like this now (when i decide to use it):
Accounts that has been INACTIVE for X period of time with Y or less game time.
6 month inactive or MORE, COMBINED with 30 minutes total game time or LESS
12 month - 60 minutes
24 months - 120 minutes
3 years - 300 minutes
4 years - 480 minutes
5 years - 900 minutes
6 years - 1200 minutes
7 years - 1500 minutes
8 years - 1800 minutes.
I think its still a extremely fair and still there is alot of 'crap' accounts left, but yea if you happened to be here at 2010 and have less then 30 hours of ingame time. (Basicly be ingame and macro for 1.5 days) you would be on that list.
-Can only use my house teleportation option while in a town or in a house (to reduce exploits and messing up certain mechanics.. i will try improve this later on)
-Tmap books cannot be used while in a dungeon.
-Added alot more pumpkins to the crafting list!
-Added alot of things for my halloween event, so give me aday or two and hopefully i got it spawning ingame! (more info then)
-Added the 'ability' to use 'all kill' or 'all follow me' while muted.. strange fix huh?

Ok folks, a long awaited patch is finally here.
The reason there have been such a massive wait until some proper content came out is due to me taking on a project with converting the whole damage system into being able to attack items (for real, not like a hidden monster above an item like before)
To summarize i failed alot and had to revert alot i did, and lost alot of time, changes and to be honest joy. (i tried to implement it for the mega quest chain exploring the deep.. i might take another look at it in the future, but not try do the damageable items the way i did anyway.)


Ok to summarize a bit, this patch contains alot of things, but the major is:
-The Void Pool (a cool tower defense simular type of content in covetous, if you tried it on other servers, this is most likely jacked up, since it was so slow and dull in original shape)

-Doom rework again, but alot better this time.. I thank someone that did some manual testing to get a nice formula going. Exponential growth of your chances of getting an artifact and alot more.

-New attributes, both custom and missing ones.  Hit bane for example will be obtainable from virtuebane peerless, making our mascot way less boring to hunt!

-Alot of things to hopefully reduce the lag a bit, rework on how the logic works on infestation, furthur improved my cleanup script to remove sh*t from inactive accounts.. but also a  Artifact exchange npc!
More info on it later, but basicly you can return ToT artifacts or Doom artifacts to get a blessing from lady fortune, making it easier to find an artifact in the future!

-A complete rework on donation store (i still need to redo it ingame after patch, but moved all stuff from the stones into npc vendors and made it easier to find what you are looking for, no more spread out randomly or duplicate of items that cost differently! Some items are even cheaper, some are alot cheaper like the resource box, to furthur try reduce the amount of items on the server.)

-A huuuuuuuuge free for all pvp arena, just outside the casino and the pcoin store, the whole town is your battlefield! You will not loose any pvp coins, pvp rank, insurance etc. You cant loose items's and you wont even get your corpse carved! (You will still 'die' comparing from battles, but aint that a charm in itself?)

-Weapon abilities gets alot of love!


I guess i will never end the summarize if i try highlight it, so i guess ill start with from A to Ö patch notes, do note its not in alphabetic order, and i am a Swede so its not A->Z for me. And more information about void pool etc. will be furthur down.


-Removed the portable trash basket from both donation store and reward list in the pandora chest, its far from user friendly.

-Here comes a bummer to you all! I think i have covered most pet's that ressurrect you, when you and the pet is dead, it will no longer be able to ressurrect you. Was meant like this from the beginning but used the wrong code for it. But to compensate a bit, double clicking it while its dead will make it self-ressurect after 15 seconds to full hp (and then you can ress). It's a bummer i know, but i would like to see more teamwork for areas like the void pool for example.

-Magic unicorn & Daemonic Dragon will no longer loose stats upon death, existing ones will have their stats rerolled as per new tame. (The lesser tarantula was never supposed to have good stats to begin with, so it was never a bug there that it lost stats).

-Superdyes can now color something to original base color (Do not that this will not color something like frostbringer back to blue, after you have colored it something else. Kinda work like the bleach dye i guess?)
And you no longer need to reset it on itself, just target another hue couldron and your good to go!

-You will no longer gain or loose points when killing a/getting killed by a guild member/ally member.

-Frost orc's are a bit friendlier now, now they dont have the same OUMPH.

-Remade the seacoins drop on a few monsters, to reflect their power. (Nothing major)

-Added a few more Oceanic coin mobs, these are very special indeed!

*The Zealot Errant - You never quite know which weapon it will try use against you! (Will base its abilities upon which weapon it uses)

*The Zealot Testudo - This impressive shield user will make you yield by its shield. (sorry, it was bad)
You will most often meet this among a group of zealot errants. And trust me, you dont want to ignore it!
(And not becouse it will hit hard)

*a Glacier Elemental - a impressive magical elemental, that can upon damaging it, freeze the whole vicinity.
(Based upon damage it gets, so better hit hard and seldom than often and little)

*a elder sea spider - a small buff to the current sea spider, and a pet of the Zealot Testudo.

-All addon deeds (or most of em anyway) will now display on the deed, if the addon will retain its deed's hue, so its great news to everyone who is unsure if your house will become much more pimpier, or just loose a dye charge.

-Now even the red players of Pandora can use the tmap books.

-Pet Slot deeds should not stop at 10 followers max.

-Holds of the Element have gotten a bit more love, It will now spawn with both SDI and DI, since DI is apparently worthless to alot of vets. Those gloves that do not have SDI at this current state, will get a random roll of SDI. (Do note, that it will go over your total rune slot, incase its full)
Those that have after this patch, a glove with more runes then possible, please remove a rune at your earliest convienence. I will do a few controls after a few days to see if anyone has said overslotted glove, and remind that player. If it still doesnt help after a few weeks? i will remove a slot that looks like the worst imbue.

-You can no longer stable allured or infested pets, regardless which stable method you use.

-Several new attributes, one im not currently done with but im going to write about it.

*Reflect X (fire, cold etc) - works like reflect physical but, you get it.

*Hit Sparks  and Hit  Swarm - (Read about it on uoguide.com) but the PvM damage is better

*Hit Bane - This one is a real killer for bosses! It is not enabled in pvp fyi as per vote.
You need to hunt Virtuebane to collect pieces of this Attribute, then you are free to add it on any melee weapon!

*Assassins Honed - Like being a back stabber? This will increase the damage you do if you attack someone facing the same direction as you are.

*Bone Splintering - This will reduce your opponents stamina, also in some cases do damage.

*Splintering Weapon - will cause a stacking bleed effect when triggered, but also makes the weapon loose durability.

*Antique and Brittle, two negative attributes is also added, you can read about them and all others except reflect X elemental  on uoguide.

*Channeling Mirror - this is a custom one, and  the one im working on atm, but writing about it as we speak.
This will have upto 10 "levels" instead of 0-100% it uses 0-10 instead.
And the bearer will have a chance of reflecting spells while the bearer is casting a spell, the chance depends on what type of spell and its level of attribute.

I think that i covered em all there.

-a bit rework on the AI system, let me know if you find something strange!

-Enchanted apple will now have a chance of failing to de-debuff you, if you have several debuffs on yourself, the more debuffs, the higher the chance of failure.

-The huntmaster challenge will now have 3 more rewards to choose from! These are a bit pricier than the others, but will be worth it!
*Erupting flame - a flamespurting hole for your house!
*Sparkling Pillar - a smaller version than the Exodus Dungeon, when you color this, only the sparks will be colored, and the blocks will remain pitch black.
*Raw Energy - Also taken from exodus dungeon.

-You should stop sleeping after taking damage

-Virtuebane will now also de-spawn like other peerless

-Infested should infect others a bit better, plus giving them a small flat bonus to HP, to better make low-hp infested survive vs their non-infested ex-allies.

-Monster Stealing - stealing from a monster will now have a small chance of rewarding you different items like Balm of Strength. (read more on uoguide)

-Treasure chests will now reward you a little bit more depending on its level.

-Normal bosses will do some cleansing attacks when hit by normal infested monsters, killing all infested creatures around itself.

-new stealables! Blanket of Darkness and Torture rack for Wrong, also new stealables for doom, which includes the hanging platemail set (arms, tunic and leggings) and artifact bookshelf, arcane table, also incense burner.
Also going to add Bamboo stool, hopefully a certain someone can remind me about that after the patch.

-Fletching runic tools will no longer produce negative attributes.

-Weapon abilities have been tweaked, so less used abilities does more damage, but also the buff works a bit more dynamic.
If its from a melee weapon, the same ability can do more damage than its ranged counterpart.
And if the target is a monster, it will do even more damage, than fighting a player
This is a work in progress, but it would be fun to see, atleast in pvm, that any weapons can be quite successful! Let me know any feedback!
(All abilities got more or less a buff, Armor ignore buff was the weakest)
And some abilities that was lacking or didnt work to 100% before, should now work properly.

-New Pandorians should now start without that crappy new player ticket, and spawn with allready allocated stats, so there is no need to waste the statball.
They will also start with proper spellsbooks, without bad spells.

-Poison, if you have a immunity to poison, you will no longer be poisoned from spells or monster attacks. In some cases of monsters spamming you with simple poison attacks, your immunity doesnt get a chance to kick in.

-Remade the random loots for the trex and great ape, this is mostly a test, but could possibly produce random drops that could be useful. Also added a lesser version for the zealot testudo.

-a useless update for zombies! They can now ... kinda.. speak..    Also have a chance of spawning as 6 different versions, but no.. neither drops anything special.. its just for fun! if you find a special one, be near it and enjoy!

-necro spell Revenant is a bit more powerful, depending on your intelligence.

-The droprate of 115 and 120% spellscrolls have now been slightly increased, 125% is still untouched

- The donation store
*All stones will be removed and replaced with npcs (there might be a possiblity for a stone to temporary exists later for a new item that havnt yet been added to the npc)
*For all the balls etc that just lays there, a gump item with information will replace them. Alot easier to read and find!
*Trying to reduce the p2w status of the donation store over time, for now i have removed the doom drops and you can even get stats on your clothing from void pool, i have made a deed to add upto 3 in a stat (will write more about it later down.).
*The sprinkler now comes in a bag of both the container and the sprinkler
*Will start with pet morphs now.

-There is now a proper warning for Ter Mur, when you gate into ter mur or from.
(so yes, im keeping ter mur felucca rules, but if new players are having a hard time farming the minichamps and/or renowned or that kings tomb, i might exclude them and make them safe zones or something.

-A special gump will appear if you as blue in a trammel ruleset land, attack a red or grey player or their pet.
Kinda works like the criminal actions deal, and this is mostly meant for new players, but i want to truly test it with so many players as possible.
I personally dont mind red punishing players from having  bad macros, but i would also like trammel dungeons be somewhat of a safe place for blue to hunt.

-The extra delay on those first circles damaging spells that was added before is now gone.

-Peacock ethereal! You will get its feathers from events etc. Before i have given a placeholder to players, but now they can pm me on discord or ingame and i will give them a real version instead!
(And they will drop more frequently in events, now when they actually work)

-Elder Shadow Fiend, joins his normal variant, will most likely be seen in event dungeons etc. But it will see you when you are hidden!

-A harder to allure powerful creatures. (maybe around 20% for a frost orc)

-a proper ressing target for insula, both for veterinary and healing.

-Going to increase the timer on the PvM event area aswell, now there should be other things for you all to do ^^,

-a real training chest for lockpicking and remove trap skills for insula, replacing the chest i have there (they work with a spawnerr that constantly locks or traps em)

-Small tot stone for players, to remind em when there is time to hunt! Unsure yet where to place it.
(will change color and display as info when its time to hunt or not.. cannot be locked down fyi)

-Virtuebane peerless now drops 100% upon death, a piece of Virtuebane's essence.. Collecting 5 of these will allow you to create the urn, filled with virtuebane essence.. allowing you to add Hit Bane on melee weapons!
It's damage has now been nerfed greatly, but added a hit bane effect upon its hits.




-Ok here comes some of the bigger ones.. lets start with the artifact exchanger!
To summarize, all existing ToT or Doom artifacts have now gained the "Legacy Drop" brand, this has nothing todo with how good it is.. The only difference is that it will net you "less luck" with the artifact exchanger.
But to simplify, you will get a hint how much your "luck" is, when giving him a artifact. Where new or infested artifacts give more "luck".
When i say "Luck" i mean the likelyhood of getting a new artifact when hunting in each area, since both systems has a hidden value that increases the more you hunt and wont get an artifact.
But i base the return value of a new artifact to approximate 30% of the way to get a new one.

This means that you can turn in 100 old artifacts if you wish, then net alooooot of artifacts after, since i
also have rewritten it so that hidden value will not get completely reset upon recieving an artifact, but reduces to a set value, if you are above that value.
You will ofcourse net more artifacts statistically, if you only exhange a few and hunt, instead of exchanging alot.


Then i can speak about doom, where i have included a exponential increase of getting an artifact, and luck matters more in getting an artifact. Thanks to a certain player that did alot of real tests on my test server to get a good average number, Where someone with roughly 3500 luck needs on average a bit less than 5 rounds in doom to gain an artifact, and one with maybe around 1000 luck needs around 8 rounds in doom.
This combined with the exhange should make doom alot funnier to do!


And last but not least, the void pool!
You can read a bit about it on uoguide.com
But there are a few things thats different.
A) The rewards from killing wave monsters, or covetous new boss, Cora the sorceress can now also include some hard to get mid-game artifacts from renowned champs.
B) The point based purchasable artifacts and items includes new artifacts, the statdeed on clothing and even ANOTHER NEW ethereal. The skeleton tiger ethereal!
C) The speed is much more intense! The spawn is harder, and faster.
(The speed of waves goes faster the furthur you progress, but if the void pool gets damaged, the wave speed will be lowered, so let a few in on purpose to slow it down! hint hint)

The void pool "restarts" every hour in felucca, or every 6 hours in trammel, where felucca gives you double the point rewards aswell.
When a player goes into covetous level two, and the timer is "ready" he will start the void pool.
Monsters will walk towards the pool from two ways, and if they reach the pool, the pool will loose hit points.
If the pool gets damaged 15 times, you will "loose".
The monsters have the ability to teleport to the pool incase they do not have a target, and cant reach their next waypoint after a while (to reduce cheese).
So team up, and take on this massive challange that can give you a large variety of rewards, opening up the Pandora Void brand, where most of the new attributes are added to!
This void pool even comes with its score board, so get high score and give everyone else the finger!

The Stat on Clothing deed is quite special, upon purchasing it from Vela (see below), you will get one deed that adds 1 stat (randomly between str, dex or int) to a piece of clothing that has 2 or less in that stat.
The clothing needs to be tier 5, but you can go overslot. Upon using this deed, the item will become tier 0, and you need to tier it up to 5 again to apply another deed. (No imbues will be lost upon it reseting its tier)
This is alot of work, i know. But it has to balace in the price of the stats on clothing.
And i will find a way in game to add the last part or parts for the statdeed (add upto 6 in each stat).

Go to covetous to meet Vela the Sorceress, to spend the points you get from the void pool!
Do note that it was quite hard to balance in the prices of the artifacts, let me know how well you do in the void pool once you got the hand of it.


And i almost forgot!
-the Tribe Raider!
a nasty little fellow that has stolen various artifacts from troughout the pandora lands.
There will be a warning before it spawns, and a notify when it spawns, so it will be seen on discord.
This raiding npc will behave quite differently, so do have your wits about when dealing with it, trying to flee and stealth away from you, so be sure you are ready to paralyze it and track it.

(During testing i have also noticed an issue with tracking, that has nothing todo with my patch, but depending on your Z location, the arrow might show wrong, since the arrow might want to show where the mosnter would be if it was on Z = 0 ground. )

This raider will have a 100% chance of dropping a pandora chest upon death, and a very small chance of dropping a pandora chest key.
But also chance of dropping a treasured gem stolen from a tribe. (So deco hunters might want to keep an eye on this one too)

You will need to find and kill it within an hour, before it escapes to sell its stolen goods!



I will need to redecorate the donation store, spawn the void pool, and spawn that bamboo stool among other things after the patch.. so please be patient! (I gues i will make an area in covetous for the new artifacts and rewards from the void pool)
And i also need time to redo the spawning system of Virtuebane, making it give a warning before spawning, so players can become ready!
And the spawning system of the tribe raider.

-Oh also, some of the new equips (mostly from Pandora Void Pool) but also added 1 more to Infested Paragon.
Have a special feature, red text abilitys that is not always 100% clear on what it does.
I can give you all a freebie, the bracelet of transience, a pandora void bracelet. Has the red text "Flickering Terrain" and in this case, it means that when you wear it, you can teleport without the 3 second delay after casting. (the red text abilities can be suspect of balances later) Some red text abilities are passive, some are active.. And might take a while before you figure them you!

Yea, sorry for the wall, but its alot..  Took more than 2.5 hours to write, and hopefully i didnt miss to write anything in here, even though im pretty sure ive missed to mention atleast one thing.

QoL updates:
GRAB:
-a Grab bag! this nifty bag will place all your grabbed loot into it, except of gold. Just have it in your backpack! Will be avaiable for vote tokens in Luna voting stone, plus donation room.
-3 different Toggle options for grab, via graboptions -> misc option, there you will see 3 different toggles. MIGHT mean that everyone needs to redo their lists... Sorry! its for the greater good!
>Toggle spellscrolls - Will exclude all sort of spellscrolls
>Toggle Base Reagent - will exclude all regeants
>Toggle Small Gems   - Will exclude the 9 smaller gems.


Corpsestone have gotten a QoL touch,
-Will no longer teleport empty corpses!
-Will (depending on amount of corpses with items in) relocate your corpse in a better manner
*1 corpse = will relocate directly under your feet
*2-3 corpses = Will relocate 1 tile around you!
*4 or more corpses, will act as before

Lost soul will get a nice remodel, as seen in the gif i sent on discord.
-It will be much more easily seen when spawned.
-Will tell you when it spawns plus if you attack it, how to kill it.
-Will have a safe period upon spawning, where it doesnt drain, nor have a hard time hitting you, incase you stand ontop of it.
-Will be killable by speech!
-Will cure you, and heal you.. heck it will even buff you when you kill it.
(Killing it with the spells like before will reward you with a stronger and longer lasting buff, plus a full restore of stats.. Even a small chance of rewarding 2 soul shards!
-Lowered price of shroud hide crystals on the soul trader, to match the lowered price in donation store.
-After killing a infested champion, and you have enough infested champion soul kills stored on your characther, you will get a hint after killing the champion, on how to use the souls stored.
-Soul of a crafter have its price reduced and life span increased!


Cleanup time!
-Added a code to clean out old inactive accounts from items like the cloth you start with (unimbued)
smaller stacks of regs/ingots/ore, and the 100 in all skills skillball mentioning a few.
-Modified my old account cleaner code, where i can manually ingame remove accounts that have:
Less gametime than 30 minutes per 6 month period, IF they are inactive.
To summarize:
if your account have been inactive for 6 months or more, with a game time of less than 30 minutes (this include removed characthers even)
It will be added to the filter, then it goes on for 1 year inactive, with 1 hour of gametime. Upto 7 years inactive and 7 hours ingame gametime.
(around 400k items was removed, from 2.8m items to 2.4m items... give or take.. not bad!)


House commands!
3 New (4 actually but you shouldnt use the last one) house commands.
with a new fancy info system you can access via [housecommands
But basicly 2 updates on lockdown and release, where you can lockdown or release several items,
and a new command that is based upon release, but it will also pick up the items into your backpack!
Super fast clearing of items in your house, also very safe!

Upcoming Events / Xmas 2017 Event!

The poor district in Nujel'm is under attack!

a team of mutated christmas monsters have invaded!


The event will take place both in trammel and felucca, and there will be no lower droprates in trammel, but you will have a harder time there! (Read on and i will explain)

What you will meet:

-A various amount of snowmen, they might only cast a shadow at first that coincidently look like a black slime, pay no attention to that =P
These though snowmen are quite the foe! They got huge aura's that will do various (obviously very bad) effects on your characther! There is even one that blind you! They got a weakness though.. Explosion potions! What a relief! Thank god you can stack up on explosion potions, and nothing can go wrong, right?
oh! oooh.....

-Mutated Grinch, will steal your explosion potions just for the heck of it! The grinch will also steal some sort of combustible black sedimentary rock(s), why you would have such item upon your characther, i have no idea?
Kill it to retrieve your stolen goods.

-Mutated raindeers! These cute critters offer you no fight, but im pretty sure they will be slaughtered in masses. Why? Well these darlings will give you a point upon killing them. The player with the most points when the event ends, will get a Shroud/Robe Hiding crystal, worth 22 pbucks! (Yay, a competition inside a event, inside a holiday, inside a game)

-Mutated and sadly over-worked elfs these sad creatures have worked immensly the latest period of time, almost feel sorry for them. They also will offer no large resistance.. But they can drop some sort of hammer to craft something special?

-The evil santa itself Oh boy, your in for it now..
The santa is so powerful, so he wont even acknowledge you as a foe and wont attack you directly.. Thats how powerful he is. Did i mention he is almost unkillable?

Thank god you can steal from him.............

His huge backpack is filled with coal, on which he were to give out to the poor houses of Nujel'm, and that is quite mean.. Hard working citizens, even if they are poor, deserve something better. Steal the coal pieces!
He even might have 2 pieces of decoration that you can steal, and 2 different deeds. And as always, the decoration can have a small chance of being in a rare hue.
(The deco items are also flippable, i.e. you can turn em around, in one case, and the other will change the item slightly upon trying to flip it)

And there will be a few winterfest monsters along to way, to make you comfy.. its soon/it is/it was Xmas afterall.

Oh why its Harder in trammel? Ofcourse Evil Santa wont see you all the time when you steal from him, but he will notice you steal from him alot easier in trammel!


-Event will last during the holiday, not sure of a exact end date as of yet, but i guess early early January sounds good?


Rules:
In Trammel: Play nice.
In Felucca: PvP is allowed, this time i will give you a more free hand to PvP and PK other players, but as always, i dont want this to go overboard, to a point where a player cant truly be there.
But that also means, you got an option, a option to be there, dont start any shittalk or grief.
Feel free to let me know when a player or a guild have killed you over and over again.



Competition to win a Shroud/Robe hider crystal information(again):
Kill the mutated raindeers to get points, you will see your score upon killing a raindeer.
When the event ends, the one with the biggest score, wins! (I might do a top 3 deco trophy reward aswell)

-There are a few secrets in this event aswell, asking me about them might result in a punishment (i.e. asking what they are for secrets)
-BunnBunn might help me and add some stealables in the event aswell (deco's  that is stealable from the ground)

-Donator flute's will regain charges in a less server resource heavy way.
-Donator Hatchet can now be equipped by gargoyles, chop away!
-You no longer need chatpoints to chat! (Will make a better reminder ingame later on)
-Frost orc's have gotten a slight damage nerf. (Less get dunked on for noobs)
-Saracoon have also gotten a nerf, yay for noobs! (Slightly less hp, lower chance to polymorph you and spawn rats, but also lower cap of amount of rats it can spawn)
-Corgul enchanted sash will no longer flip into something else. Bad sash!
-Stat scroll book should have support for the infested statscroll now.
-Chat point deeds no longer usable, but kept as a rarity.
-Donator Smith hammers can no longer be added to tool chests.
-Resource boxes now got a proper flipable attribute (sorry to those that liked this bug =P )
-Slight QoL update on the lost soul, have not tried to make it killable by speech nor context menu, but made it start its drain after X seconds, also it wont move in the same period of time. (and i think it should also announce how to kill it)
-Animated weapon & Rising Colossus duration should be affected by the correct skill now.

-Possible fix to resolve crashes regarding the sleep spell in very rare occations.
-Added a no-housing region blocker (for an hour) after a house collapses. (Untested, kinda hard to test)
-A bug involved a bit too agile davies locker has been resolved, apparently they could become this agile by being smooth talked to.
-Hopefully a fix for the random crashes recently
-Super universal dyes are now a bit more user friendly (added/edited the text slightly to explain certain things better)

Shard Changes / Changes to Bosses (lower respawn time)

Hope you all enjoyed the halloween event!

Just wanted to mention that the following bosses have gotten their respawn timers changed.
Corgul, Stygian Dragon, Slasher, Poseidon (beach and cave), Navrey, Ancient hellhound.

In some cases, the respawn timers were only slightly changed, and in others they were changed alot more.
You might not camp the spot since it will take a few hours, but it will be much harder for one player to just clear every boss in the game and leave nothing to others..

But also a larger change have come to our mysterious mascot.. Virtuebane.. 
The randomness in its timer stays, but it is lowered.. But when it spawns, it will announce it, and where it spawns. (There is a total of 4 spawns, Wind, sorcerecess dungeon, Buccaneers den & Fire temple) all in felucca.
The spots where it spawned in trammel have been removed.
(The overall spawnrate is still way better)

Upcoming Events / Halloween 2017 Event **Ended**

What alot of you have been waiting for, this years event.

First of all, i would like to inform you all about patching your client before venturing into the dungeon,

for both monsters and deco rewards, i have used some of the latest arts/monsters.
In the first days, the gate leading to the event area will take a detour above Umbra, a small ledge with a goblin statue, if you can see the goblin, your most likely fine. (The goblin will also be named with the atleast when i patched, current patch.. so have that or later, and you will be ok!)

And since you might not patch often, i will also write a small guide on how to patch:
1. Find your uo directory, find where your uopatch.exe is located (you could do a computer search if your unsure where your uo directory is located)
2. Run uopatch.exe in admin mode, right click and press "Run as admin"
3. Then the patching will begin! wait until you see the Ok sign, dont press OK since we are not the main servers!
4. Not necessary, but recommended... Re-apply (or apply) Large adress aware on your client.exe

OK! to the main course!

Welcome to this years version of halloween event, eventhough quite late (i know im usually a tad late.. but.. yea extra late this year... but i was on vacation)

Lore wise, to those  that wants this, since im sucha great story teller, right?
After messing with time, with the timetrips to eodon and causing a tear in time with the cause and effect switching place with the knight of eodon, with it loosing its head, time is starting to repair itself.
Time itself, while healing, will cause some great, powerfull effects.. A diachronical sheer, while negative in nature, the cause of these effects is stresses in the timeline, trying to correct themself. (Just like ice can crack, or hear cracking sound in a frozen lake)

So, to the dungeon itself! And how this will affect you!
The dungeon is mixed with some hallowed monsters, some other monsters thats spooky, but also some unique monsters. Eventhough their hp can vary from 1000-2500 with low resists, they should be quite easy!

Except one monster.... Stay away from that monster... but dont worry, that monster wont attack you, aslong as you dont attack it!

There might even be a stealable in the dungeon!

Droplist:
Stone diety: 4* types of trophys/statues + 4* of the same type of trophys/statues animated (rarer)
spider: 2* types of skeletons, facing both directions, one type of skeleton being slightly rarer than the other
scorching daemon: a scarecrow* + a animated scarecrow* (animated being rarer)
ancient air elemental: a stone  statue* + flame statue*

stealable: (secret, two for now, but might add more later)*

*All decos with a star, got a rare chance of being dropped with a rare hue.


So.. Whats up with this diachronical sheer then?


Every X amount of minutes pass, you will notice a warning. (It will be a global warning, so.. sorry those that aint participating (if you pass on this opportunity for some strange reason?)

The dungeon will be divided in 5 areas, and not divided perfectly, mind you. South, north, east, west and center.
When you hear this warning, take heed and make sure you are not in that particular zone. You will have roughly 15-45 seconds to evacuate the affected zones.

When the diachronical sheer effect takes place, everything inside that zone dies. (The zones wont be marked ingame, but both you and monsters will get a overhead message if you are being affected by the diachronical sheer effect. See a monster without the overhead message? then your most likely fine there. (Or at the entrance)

Rumours also say there is a way to become immune to this effect, but the downsides are unknown?
And the way to counter said unknown side effects, somehow can be ailed in the beginning of the dungeon. (Strange that i know that something unknown can be cured?)

The event will last roughly a week or so, the automatic hallowed event will last until Nov 11th, so might have it open until that date. Possibly a day or two longer/shorter, depends on players luck with drops.

Also, to stay true to khaldun, even if its not really the real dungeon khaldun... You cannot revive inside the dungeon, only in the safe zone


Rules
-Have fun!
-There will be felucca rules, but as always for these type of events.... Feel free to pvp and pk, but try help/leave young players alone. But also trying to exclude a player or group of players is also against the rules. Fight them once or when needed (if they are cocky)
-I will leaves rules open, incase i forgot anything, but yea not much rules, have fun and behave.. pvp and pk in moderation, but try let everyone have fun.



TL;DR (too long, didnt read version)
-Patch up!
-Stay away from the regions of the dungeon mentioned during a broadcast warning, you will die*!
*You can become immune.. with a side effect...
-Fel rules (even if its in trammel), but behave, try let young players enjoy it.. try let everyone enjoy it.
as in, Pvp/pk a bit, but dont exclude player(s)
-Keep away from a certain monster, and the diachronical sheer effects..

This town invasion will take in place in Felucca, there are safezones, one for each town. Each safezone got healers, corpse stones and 4 moongates to 4 different parts of the town. (Hide and stealth to a new area if you wish)


Each town will have a different monster spawner, this will work kind of like a champion spawn with different tiers.
But....
It will all start with a time lord, hidden in each town. Which you will need to find, use tracking/detect hidden and why not some greater explosion potions while you at it. (He will also emit a special sound when he is hidden, you will figure it out when you hear it).
After killing him*, the actual event monsters will spawn.. But oh, while the time lord is alive, he have put the whole town in a temporary time-sphere. In this time-sphere, monsters will roam, which you will not be able to see, but you will be hurt! You cant even hide from them.

*Killing the time lord will award you with a event point, in which yes, this will be a competition.
The winner, and only one. (Possibly those ranked 2-3 will get a non-working replica).
But the winner will get the Gem of Time, which will temp. make you invul for a very very short time, with a long delay. (upto 16h). Used wisely, it might just save you.
This will most likely result in a series of event rewards, based on certain gems, but not possibly from only invasions.


The monsters itself, (i have been so kind) to add the dropchance and what they drop, in their titles.

Rules:
This will be a pvp/pvm event, and a slightly harder pvm than usual, but lower spawn count. Eventhough the spawn could be rather hard, some new people could possibly take down a monster.
Feel free to pvp as much as you want, but trying to make a guild takeover both towns and control the whole event, by just a few players might be looked down upon. But we will see how it goes.

Final results:
The Time Overlord was killed last night, and the winner in the timelord killing was Dr K(48 points), which received the unique one of a kind, gem of time, which will temporarily de-phase  you from time, and make you invulnerable for a very short period of time.
The runner ups were; flint, miki and gwen (they all had over 10 points (16,14,11 points in this order))
And they received a replica of the time gem, which just looks good ^^

- Finally serialized the empty venom vials, sorry to those that lost em during a server restart.
- Updates to vendors, reduce cache size and hopefully less lag.

- Fix an internal item leak for vendor purchase processing.

- Aquarium, Fish Bowl and Fish optimisations.
- Various timer-based optimisations (reduce running timers by hundreds)

- A small fix for resource boxes, made them a bit smarter (SKYNET BEWARE) , caused 2 crashes today. Should be fine now!
-Some more core updates
-Magical training diamonds will now work properly, and soon be placed in Insula (These will be so much easier to train stealing on, same id etc. etc.) (P.S. Have you seen the bushido momentum strike training area in east insula?)
-Momentum strike will give you gains to 125%, mmmmmmh those gains...

-Donation fix, for real this time.
-Furthur core updates, gotta give love to that core you know.
-Added a proper stealing diamond for insula. (will need to replace them ingame)
-Changed the lower tithing cost cap, so new players with LTC can train without a worry
-Added said lower tithing cost to glass city gear.
-Changed the stealing script a bit, allowing you to be 2 paces away for the herbs in moonglow apparently it was in skara brea, the flowers.. apparently i need to give some love to other stealables, relocating them was hard in that way to make it look good. apparently back to the drawing board
-Forgot to serialize the empty venom vials before. Now they will remain where they should, gotta wipe the empty venom vials prior to this patch though.
-a fix for the daily candle stealable.
-Fixed an exploit with tiger cubs, you could farm the tiger armor with a bonded tiger cub.
-Argon bottle deeds should now give you the proper amount of argon bottles.

a small hotfix went trough today,
was mostly a fix for the recent issues with donations, if you havnt receieved full amount, let me know.
(But kong have had his lookout for all donation emails, so we should have got it covered)

But also a possible fix for garden sheds
Also Vorspire upgraded the core of the server.
