Upcoming Events / Hallowed House Decoration Contest

Ok, as i wrote in the other halloween tread. Here is some quick info about it.
Will most likely judge it next saturday. So your  thinking that you only got one week? Well i did tell you about it in the other thread, but giving time for everyone, even those that needs to spend alot of time in my new event area.

Anyhow..
Just give me a holler in this thread if your in or not, if you know a friend that wants to participate, let him/her know about the thread et.c... Will make a pet in luna regarding the house deco contest when the Halloween of Legends is over.

First price, will most likely be a pumpkin pet, and maybe something else.. who knows ^^

Ok, this competition has been crazy.. For several reasons..

First off, lets hit off the amount of scrolls the top 3 players had..

Chicken managed to get 21075 scrolls
followed by Des Sanct with 19412 scrolls
And lastly...
An Evil Llama with a grand whopping 191 scrolls.
(Had  to go trough almost every scrollstack bigger then 10, to check that a player didnt have more scrolls hidden away, but neatly seperated)

So.. Congratulations??...
Well..
Then there was this handicap i spoke about.
I think all top parties have been clever, sold off houses they did not want.
And with a neatly painted (in microsoft paint) i jotted down each house owner in luna, checked if there was a multi acc or not, and who actually owned em etc etc. (Did this the 4th nov)

So..
Chicken: 1 house
Des Sanct: 0 house

Which brings the total "scrolls/points" to 18967,5 to Chicken, and Des Sanct remains at 19412
(21075*0,9=18967,5)
Which actually puts Des in the top, and wins the competition! Was a really tight call. And the third price was pretty much anyone for the taking lol.

So, congratulation Des Sanct for first price, Chicken for second price and (a pretty suprised) An Evil Llama for third price!
(For a fun non-rewarding fact, Falada got 117 scrolls, so yea.. Anyone could have taken down the third price easily =P)

Ok some info for you all!
Pretty sure i can open this badass up for tomorrow (Saturday, 17th) Think i will time it, so it starts roughly the same time i usually host my events, roughly 4-6pm EST. Then, the gates to the past will open up, to the lands that have gotten a hallowed curse. Lands that shouldnt face modern human beings for several thousands if not millions of years.

The event will last October out, unsure of end date atm, but will end in the very beginning of november.

This following bit is very important to read.. REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT TO READ THE FOLLOWING:
The area will be a PvP zone, but PvP Will be prohibited.. Sounds odd? Well.. it kinda is.. But it is due to a limitation on region control et.c... Same issue as in PvM Event room for example...
But it wont be 100% illigal to PvP, but mostly its due to the limitations of custom regions thats been added ingame. And you wont be looted by players, you cant loot other player corpses.

-not 100% illigal you say?.. What do you mean?
Well, if you got a friend you wanna fight down there.. heck.. do it!.

I will randomly check corpses of players, if any (but prollywill be *g*).. see who killed em.. Talk to the owner, check whats up et.c. Might be a short jail time for the killer..

-But you aint always on? How can i feel safe down there? even as a new player?
Well, ofcourse i will implement a new brand AI *cough cough*..  a Knight of Eodon...
Try to be nice to this AI, even if i somehow slipped that he might be beheaded, and will curse halloweens in the future, for example the Hallowed Void event i hosted last year. (bad bad time jokes muhahah)

But ofcourse, sending me a PM if your griefed et.c.


Iv'e taken the best of the best things from last years event, so there is no need loot scripts or whatsoever. You will understand more on that later...  Even added a large puzzle that you can steal the competition scrolls for, heck, even a treasure chest hunter can find some scrolls.. But that large puzzle even hold a much rarer costume, that can only be found there!

And if you are still worried about the whole PvP activated area deal..  Those from last year can pretty much convince you they had an awesome time there!

As for the pvp, I really like the nonloot pk environment.  I am normally not much of a pvper but I have tried to help with a fight or two against the Headless, and even tried to help another player against pks.  Normally I just try to run away.  I think this environment is a good balance to give the pk/pvpers some action and get the blues who normally would dip out some encouragement to stick around and stand their ground.

There will be no random gates this year, just one gate, or heck.. Even from the public gate.
Almost each deco will have a chance of dropping as rare hue, mostly its 10% chance for it to be another hue.


And to the scroll collecting bit, thinking of keeping the % handicap rule, since noone opposed. Second and third price havnt been determinated.. But maybe a 125% PS of players choise as second, and a random 125% ps as third. (plus some rare deco or something.. or a pumpkin pet.. unsure yet!.. but the first price remains the same.. ie the luna house!)

So, to give you all some teasers here and some general info.

Will do a dungeon-ish kinda halloween area, just like last year.. some modifications ofcourse! No headless knight player boss that runs around and killing everyone.. sure it was fun..  well.. who knows.. someone might be upto it!

This time i will use a section of the new Time of Legends area, get a sneak peak of that, while killing halloween badies! How swell aint that?

And there will be a "top collector" part aswell, an ingame poll voted pro for this.. so sorry for those  that will lack some major sleep this year!

The Rune Library in Luna (Just east of luna bank, cant miss it!)
But a great price comes with great responsibilities!
A)It will remain a rune library, decorate it as you wish.. Feel free to open up some vendors there, but it should mainly be a rune library.
B) You may not sell or trade it for X amount of time, havnt discussed this yet with Kon.
C) THERE MIGHT be a X house in Luna handicap for this part of the event. For example, i might put up a handicap for those that own no Luna houses, could be every house you own, ill deduct 10% of the collectable item, if its a connected house, every house connected would be 5% deduction... Player A owns 5 houses in Luna, which of 2 are stand-alones, and the rest is bunched togheter in a massive 3x plot.. That would be 10+10+(10+5+5)=40%
But that is just an example! Feel free to give some suggestions!

And if that aint enough, with the automatic hallowed halloween event goign around in graveyards, and this one that will come in roughly 10 days or so? (and will last for approx 2 weeks)... I will also be hosting a Halloween House decoration!
(Judging will be done roughly 3-7 days after the Halloween of Legends ends, so even those that camps down there, will have a chance of completing it!)

So what you say, 3 events in one halloween with a whoppin price?

Ok.. This is sort of a wierd shot.. so bear with me..
This will not be in uo, and you will.. practictly.. not..participate... Sounds odd?.. It kinda is..

Basicly, ive purchased the latest pants soiling horror game, SOMA.

And i'd thought id stream it you good folks of Pandora!
And just to be clear, im no popular streamer, just tested to stream a bit yesterday to a rl friend of mine, just to check how it works.

Why should you participate?
Well you dont really, but i thought it was a fun idea.. hear me whimper and sod.. laugh at my wall hugging and corner checking like a small girl. No cam though, but yea, have a laugh on my expense! (for once! LOL)
Get togheter, chat etc.
Might even scribble down those who come in, and then give a funny deco ingame later on, the day after or so.

I have played roughly 30-60 min of the beginning, and twice ontop of that.. (tested the game at a friends).. So would be happy if i didnt need to do the starting bit aswell.. But could do  the actual beginning.. the warm up and story etc, then briefly explain what happends between where i am, and where we stopped.

Havnt fully worked out all the details yet..  but in worst case scenario..  ill do it via steam.. somehow.. i know it works there.. might need to add everyone.. (and yea everyone needs a steam acc, which is free).

The game itself, and my cussing, might be 18+ and give nightmares (and laughters.. on my expense)..
Its a survival horror game, where your only survival is outwit the enemy, or run like hell.. no shooting here!

Ok, patch is rolling in as i speak.. *holds thumbs* *increased heartrate*
a few things i can tell..

-Alot of things will be a secret about this patch.. atleast a main deal of it.
But i will "host" a Q&A tomorrow saturday, answering SOME questions about it, not all ofcourse =P

-I hope my testers will "relax" a bit in the beginning, let all the other players try figure it out themself.

-In the time i waited for king kong to wake up, i managed to finish the superdye room, with walls and stuff like that which is needed for players that might run amock in GA ^^.. Should be in public gate --> donation,
will add a vendor shortly after patch. Prio is on the new area.

-The newbie dungeon tokens and vendorstones will take a few days to setup properly, so hang in there.

Ok, released the name of the patch, and had a lil test with Des, Flint & Meph.
I wont give out much more about it, and hopefully neither will they!
Trying to push the deadline to july31 or before. Since King kong will have his dad visiting him on July 1st, so he might be a tad more busy then normal.. but things are looking pretty good!
Apart from the main content of the patch, ive done some bug finding and fixing, the amount of bug fixes done by both me and Vorspire.. well.. I havnt written them down, atleast not all of them.. (so many!)
And some ive tried, but failed, like shovels into toolbox, but might come later!
(The patch focus mostly on PvM, but opens up PvP in certain ways)

And the general thought from those 3 testies, (not in exact words, since i did not screenshot it, but they are welcome to explain furthur)
Des: Claimed that he wassnt into PvM in general, but loved it. (Probably saw the PvP potentionals in some of the areas of this patch)
Flint: Thought it was awesome
Mephala: Liked it alot, but needed some time to let it all sink in, since he/she was a traditional uo gamer.


(Those who remembers my Orc Dungeon invasion, and the very few that actually cared for the lore, yes this is from that event!, but..  more.. awesome :3.. feel free to pm me theories/what you think it will be about in forums/ingame, since i find it amusing =P )

Ok, been writing on something really nice here. Thought i'd give everyone a teaser (not a spoiler)
And some other fixes/changes aswell!

The main and big deal:
I can't say more then, it will be a big game changer!
Alot of end-game and mid-game content, in a interactive and innovative way.
So those at top of the food chain, with little to nothing to do, you will look forward to this!
For those that noticed that i jumped straight to Publish 60, well.. This is how awesome it will be, it's so awesome it will just skip numbers! Just like WW5
As i mentioned, i wont describe much now, and not much after release. You will have to find out yourself!


Other changes/fixes done so far, that will be included in this patch:

-The Chaos elemental damage deeds will now retain the chaos damage, this patch plus some ingame commands will fix all the remaining deeds ingame permanently!

-Adding Newbie tokens, bear with me on this new token idea! They can only be gathered in the newbie dungeon, which will benifit new players, and easier transcendence into mid-gameplay. With those newbie tokens, new players can purchase gold checks, skill books, and better armor et.c. (Bringing back the glass city armors, which will be imbuable now!, infact, in this patch, all the glass city equipment will be imbuable)
So the newbie dungeon will be THE place to go, for a new player! (I made some tests with a random fully equipped player, a good player has no benifit on going there and getting those gold checks. It will be a steady income for a new player, not an experienced one!)

-Elemental crystals will now have a guaranteed drop, depending on the creatures max hits, but also a cap on how much crystals can be dropped. (meaning that a mob with over X thousands hp, will have a crystal drop for sure!)

-Combat threat will have a larger role now!

-Rough stones have a slight larger chance of being mined up, but just slight! And hopefully you can mine normal granite now with this patch. (confirmed, you can now mine regular granite.. took a while to figure it out.. Added a slight increase in chance of digging up all stones overall. (just to be kind ^^)

- Low-End runic tools wont give minus propertys now!

-The Weapon "Maul" will have proper weapon abilties, as according to OSI

-Reduced "bad streak of luck" in Doom Gauntlet (Note: This is not a artifact increase chance, just the bad streaks will be shortened!)

-Tracking can be gained up to 120%
edit7: along with hiding and tracking (i hope)

-Universal repair deed - Unsure where which npc or stone should sell it, but its for gold. Act as a small goldsink, repairs one single item, anywhere, anytime. Clothing, armor, weapon n shields! 25-50k as price, if you want it lower, or even higher, tell me!

-Glassblowing weapons will req. alot less sand!

-Vampiric Embrace will now use same mana to cast as according to osi!

-Some friggin awesome help from Vorspire, regarding all that super advanced magic i cannot even grasp, memory leaks, crashes, added a few SA attributes to the working state (which i will introduce in new equipments in this patch). And helped me with something that is still a secret to reveal, but was a major pain in...But yea, about that massive help, if something was bugged before, its probably fixed lol.. so yea, a friggin big apploud and thanks to Vorspire!.
(I know this is just a few meanings about it, but i cannot go trough all his scripts, its so massive.. so this explanation is pure concentrated awesomeness!

-Superdyes
Can proudly say, that i got a really nice color system going! Will be avaiable after patch, need some time to fix the area etc. But to explain the system, there will be an "empty super dye" item, which can be bought for p-bucks. They come in different varietys, 1,3 and 10 charges. costs 9,8 and 7 bucks per charge. These will litteraly dye any item in your backpack! OOOR.. On your person.. So that includes your backpack!

Ofc, there are a few rules, no dying of gold, pbucks, tokens etc or rubys (dont wanna scam players with fake white rubys as pandora bucks) and ofc. no dyetubs or tots =P... And the next exception is more awesomeness. There is a limit on the stack you can dye.. maximum of 20 items in a stack! (Those who want to build flags, deco etc, great option!, as i said.. will dye any item!)

Ok, i made you tempted so far.. Well.. Lets say that almost all 3000 hues are avalaible!.. Some players i have brought to the hue couldrons of Green Acres, well, thats where you will get the hues! (Some hues will be removed since they are A) glitchy matrixy, sorry lads! or B) Black/unused by osi so far.

How it works?
Well you purchase a dye, d-click it and target a hue couldron. Then dye any item you want. Bought a 10 charge and feeling you want another hue? Dont worry, just target the dye itself and it will reset!

But how will that hue fit me ?.. Well.. just double click a hue couldron and you will get the same effect as in tokuno pigment library! You will be colored from top to bottom, including your mount (if your riding it) in that hue for 6 seconds!

edit7: This includes shrunk pets, ethys.. And crylana also pointed out she wanted to dye boats.. well.. i tried with a small boat, dyed the deed and viola.. you got yourself a colored boat!

Also been working ALOT on new properties, sadly i got only one of the main 3 i wanted working flawlessly!

-Ranged Parry Bonus (Kinda self explanatory, but.. a shield with 100% ranged parry bonus, will result in you parrying ranged attacks twice as often!. IE. if you got 30% chance to parry a blow, you will have 60% vs ranged. Will mainly be on shields with alot of int. requirements, ie for mages. [Working]

-Calm Mind (Aint working alas, might get it working for patch, or after patch.. who knows.. But feel like i want to explain. Its a percentage property, but no chances. if you got 5% Calm Mind property, and your current intelligence is 400, you wont get your spells disturbed if you take 20 or less damage. ((CalmMind*Your Int)/100)

-Resonance, yes this is a SA property, but its a hell to get working (feels like if i get any of these last 2 working, i get the other working aswell)

-Along with some other SA properties thats been hidden under the rug, or semi broken... These properties have eaten alot of my time, and yes, i easily hoovering away from my main goal to make my main goal even more awesome.. Well.. Hope youll enjoy it nonetheless ^^




Other changes that i might include if  time allows, and works scripts-wise.

-Spell Penetration, move into Beta phase (Remove extra spell dmg from weapons from High Int. players, but add special effects to buffs, debuffs and spells!

-Tried getting a "pro" version of interior decorating working, still some flaws i can't allow ingame atm!
(Basicly it can allow players to move an item sideways, but as its working now, it can move an item outside of your house, and it gets "stuck" there. Im going to see if i can make a fix for it!)

Ofcourse there might be other fixes/changes.

And to summarize it, The main big deal focus on End game content, but some mid game. The Newbie tokens focus on early-on-content. So its an overall nice patch in my view ^^


edit: The ETA will hopefully be in a few weeks from now, this add-on is something i find really awesome, so scripting it is something i really want done! But do mind i got a really hectic rl. But i shall try squeesh in as much scripting time as possible!

edit2: forgot about this one, if time allows as always, a super repair deed. Craftable, and will repair any equipment, anywhere.. As a small small gold sink

edit4: universal repair deed added to list, aswell as change of mana usage on vampiric embrace (to osi original) and crafting cost of glass equipments (not as osi, but much much much lower)

I will place some "ready to go" mongbats, so king Kong if he got time, just move em to a teleporter, so everyone get a fair chanse of challenging your own sanity.

Upcoming Events / June 6th - Minesweeper event

So, another attempt to bring another game into uo =P
This time it wont work exactly like minesweeper.. and will consist of 2 parts.. One being more "minesweepyer"..

Said i might have done it today (friday).. But extremly tired (been working 12days in a row T_T)..
But yea, tomorrow saturday.. Day after Noll's bday..

Tips n tricks:
-Read on how minesweeper works
-come lightly dressed, wont take responsibility for loss of insurance money, fame etc.
-Might be able to do it in a few ways..
-100% cooperative
-half vs half (time race?)
-No teams at all.

Report from the wildlife expert:
An explosive increase in the raccoons population in Malas.
The raccoons which have been imported from another country, and to believed that some citizens in Malas have been imported raccoons as pets, after seeing a certain superhero movie, after they became 1 year old, they started to bite and scratch their owners, and was thus released into the wild.

With the recent leftovers from both christmas and easter, even easter bunnys that citizens have released for getting into the whole "easter spirit" have been a lucrative food source for the raccoons.

That and without a real predator in Malas (apart from those that they can outwit). Have led to the explosive increase in the raccoons population, and where the once overflow of food, which have been thinned down by the sheer increase of raccoons, and the less festive period of our country, forcing the raccoons to go out from shelter, and seek food where they have not dared to go before! If this continues, we will have a map overrun with raccoons, and it will be almost unstoppable, just by sheer numbers!

It's my estimate that they current raccoon population is already into the thousands.

This is truly a disastrous report, i have a rare photograph, with a raccoon in action, outwitting a confused chicken.


We have to unite and exterminate this threat!, it might be cruel, but there are no alternative!

If the raccoons are left alone, there will not be a single house left untouched in Malas, no matter what type of security there is!



Rules & Info:
-Kill and loot their unique fur (it's stackable, but if its not, do not fret, it might bug out sometimes)
-Try collect as many as you can, the 3 that collects the most will get some nice rewards!*, but there will also be a 4-20 place rewards aswell, but a minimum of 5 furs needs to be collected.
-When (if????) the raccoons have been exterminated, deliver them in a bag with a book contained your name, and account name (obviously not your password, account name is just for me to easier find you, if you are offline when im delivering the event rewards), and ofcourse in that bag, you need to place the furs.. Nothing els!.. A mailbox will be added to Luna, when the time draws close.
-Furs are ofcourse tradable between players!
-Raccoons spawn is across the whole map of Malas, apart from dungeons, they will respawn for a while. (Or better read: Raccoons are a very territorial animal, when a alpha raccoon have left an area, others might venture out and claim it as their own)
-Will last for a few days or so, might be a week, feel free to post suggestions!


*Rewards:
1st Place will get 2 deco pieces, one unique for being the no1 exterminator, and the common one. A elemental damage deed OF YOUR CHOISE! and a metallic leather dye tub (or if you prefer, a metallic clothing dyetub)
2nd place: 1 Deco everyone gets, plus a random elemental damage deed and a metallic leather dyetub (or if you prefer, a metallic clothing dyetub)**
3rd place: 1 Deco everyone gets, plus a random elemental damage deed, and a metallic clothing dyetub.**
**Might add a special deco for 2nd and third aswell.
4-20 place: 1 Deco piece

Some alarming reports have been recieved from citizens in Malas, that childish pranks like tipping and emptying trash barrels and destroyed cropfields have been noted.
All over the map have strange reports of immature pranks been noted, no culprit have yet to be seen causing it, but it looks like a couple of young persons have been causing a minor riot. Even food storage units have been wrecked and emptied.
It is to believed that the pranks have been done during the nights.

A further investigation will continue and this thread will be updated!
Please be on the lookout for these young culprits!!

I have created a really exciting and cool new type of event system..

You wont know what type it is, but it will ofcourse be safe*

It will automaticly pop up with a global message on when it starts later on, but for now, just hang onto the "beta" style event type. I will come back to this soon.

Basicly, you will team up against each other, either in pvp, or pvm.. 2 or more teams will be created automaticly, and then they have to kill each other when it starts..OR.. kill as many waves of monsters until the timer runs out.. The team that gets the most kills, wins!

*Same death as in the pvp arenas, you will not truly die, just teleport and get full hp!

The automatic gate system is rather tricky, so i did a ducttape fix on it, it SHOULD pop up randomly and warn players in global on where it is.. It will check if the spot is taken or not, if it is taken, it will relocate to another area.. Same style as the recall spell, if the location is blocked or not.

But it currently works si-so atm.. But hang with me on this.. Made a easy ducttape fix for this, there will be a orange ferret is the location is wrong, and a warning snowmen saying where you should find the gate.. But dont worry, this is just temporary!

-Pets going grey shouldnt be a matter of the past, or if you go up against a satyr.

-Change to harvesting logs, you can gain more logs per tree now, so there actually is a difference between fel and trammel =P. Thanks Preachyr for pointing this out!

My favorite author has just died, which is extremly sad.
I will be handing out special limited edition costumes from now, and around 2h onwards.
Ill be in Luna, semi afk.

The costume is "Auditors of Reality" which is a godlike being in the discworld series.

I think this will be a fun and unique event. Dig up your own event rewards =P

It will be no pvm... no pvp... so what is it?
Well, redifining the mining in Ultima online, that is what it is ^^

Whhaaat? You say?

Well it will be a massive massive square consisting of different layered blocks, which can be "mined", where ive hidden event rewards when you reach the next layer (this is to make it impossible to know where each reward is, until you get it into your backpack.) The lower you go, the more pickaxe hits it takes to break the block! (But who knows, there might be greater rewards down below?)
Since you cant jump in this game, i will make a safety mechanism, where you can just say a word and it reset your position to the top of the massive blockconstruction.
Who knows, will you be the one that finds the motherload?



Rules:
Come as empty as you possible can, obviously..  But no weapons or spellbooks (or pets)!
(Optional: dress as a miner, could be an outfit award, who knows?)
Rules can be changed before or during the event, but since PvP aint allowed, and there is no monster, this should just go all fantastic!

Warnings:
It will consist of a alot of items, which can make it lag on poorer computers.

edit: did a quick test ingame, im 99% sure i can get this to work awesomly!
edit2: Event will be performed during the same time as usual, 6pm for you yankies, plus minus a few H depending on timezones, and roughly 11pm-midnight for europeans, plus minus aswell.

edit3: Thank you all for attending, was rather cool and unique ^^.. Ofc there are some luck based factors on where you dig etc, but i hope you all enjoyed it anyway (you got a cool pickaxe atleast=P)..  And there was this issue with players not understanding exactly how to gain the rewards aswell..

edit4: it took around 70-80 minutes to dig out the 3200 object that could be "mined"


Also, gratz Dr K, you found the motherload! ^^.. Was a bright white colored ore named "The extremly rare ore which Pandora Bucks are made of" +event name and date ^^

Due to alot of recent forum and ingame flaming, accusations, verbal wars etc. I wish to point out that you cannot instant-cast or shoot any faster etc. All those timers are server side. Ive tried myself actually and speed up my side of the client, but doesnt work at all.

Alot of players are getting accusated from left to right, and some think its rather annoying by now.

So all of you, cut it.

From various reports of killing charabdys over and over again from a certain amount of players.
Me and Tyrone checked how this was done, apparently there is an exploit involving the bait etc.

Until the patch comes, i do not want anyone to exploit the bait system, made all the baits currently avaible ingame hidden for now, not removed, so do not worry!

Would just like to mention to everyone that i have been unable to login the recent days, since i got a HDD issue.. Trying to work it out, even formatting it seems like an issue. Ugh..  Just one tiny little file that got corrupted during a power outage, thats whats it takes to screw a hdd up pretty bad.

Anyhow i got a big checkdisk running now for XX hours allready, and i finally got a format option screen thingy up.. So if the issue aint fixed until tomorrow ill format it.

Also i saw this new forum part of mine got over 800 posts.. which is pretty neat with the thought that its "kinda" new..

Shard Changes / Patch 55 Notes [Live]

Alot of patches recently =P

Well im writing this as a slight notice of what will happen to some weapons.
Basicly 65 weapons are affected by this patch, and the reason is that the elemental damage on these weapons are hardcoded, and unable to be changed ingame by me or via an elemental deed.

So some players might have spent an elemental deed on these weapons allready, but let me know before the patch! (Easy for me to see inside the weapon if the weapon got a changed elemental inside, even if it doesnt show or work as that)

And there is the posibility that these weapons will loose all their elemental damage, so do tell me if you use one of these weapons aswell, i can do a global command to "fix" all the weapons to proper elemental damage, but if possible, would be nice to skip doing 65 unique global commands hehe.
(Think of it as your characther, you got it all and nice in one specific hue, but then you test the pigment stones in the Pandora Pigment Library, and it all changes into that color.. The weapons got a hardcoded overlay of its elemental damage.. dunno if that made any sense. .but wth)

Some of these got 100% physical, but still needed to be changed so they can be properly be changed via an elemental deed.


-The arcane bookshelfs deeds got a warning to remind that you need to be owner and secure them for proper and safe storing of runebooks

There will be more items in this patch note, but i wanted to make sure players knew about the weapon change, since there might be a possibility that the weapons will loose the elemental damages and become 100% physical.
Also if anyone is pro-uo and know everything about these weapons, write a reply with all the weapons that got elemental damage (apart from physical), no need to be in a fancy list.

Also got plans to add elemental deeds to smith BoDs, and metallic dyes into tailor deeds, not sure what i could add to taming bods... metallic pet dye tub?.. And should also include the disturb checks on alot of skills. But yea, just wanted to note you all about the weapons, and please talk to your guildies to read here, or tell em about it etc.

*Update*apart from the weapon changes i mentioned above
-Pandorian Llama now uses 3 control slots instead of 5
-Charybdis fix
-Healing stone should be usable now for everyone
-Shimmering Effusion will be a tad harder
-BoD reward system overhaul, added metallic dyetubs & weapon elemenetal deeds to the table, to sum it up, EACH bod got a small chance of netting you one of these (smith gets deeds, tailor gets dyetub)
-You should gain more resources in fel by harvesting (was allready implanted, but the % was so low, so you wouldnt notice it)
-Arcane bookshelf have a warning text on its deed, regarding the need to secure it
-Added the possibility to use Pigments of Tokuno on all wearables, artifacts or not.
-Remade a few artifacts so they should be armor based in imbuing. kon had those as clothing for a reason, also made a serialize issue.. so im striking em for now
-Possible fix for pets turning grey
-Fixed the issue where you couldnt get your stat above 150.
-Increased the disrupt level (for all type of systems,fizzle, slip etc)
PvP: from 18 to 25 damage
PvM: from 25 to 35 damage
-All mantras are back (could result in less lag, but the fix was mostly to see exactly what your opponent were doing)
-Arcane circle now have a 60% skill difference instead of 20% (ie difference between the one that started it, and the ones that joined it)
-Fixme - skills: now got a warning regarding purchased skills.
-Personal trash bag: You cannot throw away blessed or insured items anymore.
-Runic Tools should be worthwhile now.
-Spell penetration (Alpha), YAY!.. 
4 tiers at the moment, above: 250int, 300int, 350 int and 400int. gaining 3,6,9,15% Extra damage as direct damage. Will try get a buff icon working for this, and ofc the damage will be tweaked, and there will be changes to buffs/debuffs regarding on your intelligence.

Could have missed mentioning some things in here, since all those weapons is cluddering my patch log =P

Patch will roll in during next week or so, king kong was going away for a few days, but i still need to fix a few things.

Would want every player to patch to version: 7.0.43.1 HS aswell.

-Fixed a newbie hiryu for new players, instead of a regular one. (Req. 0 taming skill, its not a lesser hiryu, new script based on hiryu, resists and most stats is more or less the same, just a lower roll on em, think ive upped the physical resist a bit, since that was young players usually are up against in the beginning, the more or less fixed stats is to remove the unfairity for some new players that get a REALLY bad roll =P) & Renamed the statball that new players recieve upon characther creation, so it will tell them that they might use it only when they have aquired stat scrolls & knowledge about stats.

-Added self repair deed (10), which will work for hats, shields, weapons & armor, if i missed something that has durability, let me know!

-Added donators exceptional flute

-Added Ethereal Ancient hellhound

-Optimize command can be utilized by me now (admin access)

-Added Transendence scrollbook (ty Fala)

-Added Donators shovel, for those that think pickaxes are too mainstream

-some changes to champs and doom champs (reverted to original dropchances in doom, which issnt far better then ours)

-Hopefully ToT's will be dropped in ankh dungeon now. alas this one didnt work, ima take another look at it.

-Added so more doom bosses will appear when there is more then 4 players.

-Some small changes to spells (penetration will have to wait a lil bit), like archcure, which will become a tiny bit better.

-Hopefully a fix for the metallic dyes

-Small change in my duplicator mob script, the duplicators duplicate will no longer leave a corpse

~Please patch your client with uopatch.exe to latest, mr King Kong will do a server client update aswell!~


edit:
-Hue testing stones added aswell, a more permanent fix for the color library (me and fala teamed up on that one ^^), easy to add new hue previews ingame, double click it and everything you wear or ride will change into that color, no need for a test dummy anymore! (gimmie a bit of time to replace the old none-working stones in the pigment store)

-Champs should have a fairer chance of dropping all sorts of powerscrolls now.

-Bosses(not sure which bosses tho =P ) etc might drop weapons/armor with better properties now? Might help some young players ^^

-Some toughness changes to champions and peerless overall, balancing the risc vs reward.. or bother vs reward..

Got a nice chatlog to read, even though there was alot of players foult  that it went to that extent (some wanted to hear the arguments and smash talk.)
i would just like to mention that keep the smack talking to pms, for a massive argument between several players like this, i will create a new area for those mass-conversation. (will probably create the area later today)

And there was a mentioning of a staff member there aswell. Even though it might be obvious who it is, it shouldnt be mentioned anyway. A counselor have 2 accounts, one as "staff", which have practictly no powers, and one player account.  The Staff account should ofcourse act proper and be helpful, but how the player account acts is totally up to the person in question. (Ofcourse to some extent, shouldnt be too imature or inproper etc).

Take this thread as a warning, furthur smash-talking fights will be held at the area i will create, or keep it in pms.
