Pandora | Ultima Online

Pandorians are encouraged to decorate their houses in a ghoulish way to celebrate the Halloween season!

Anyone interested in participating need only build and decorate a house and drop a rune to the house in the mailbox at the Lucky Lady Shop in NW Luna. 
Please make the house public so that judges & fellow Pandorians can come look around and be scared!

All runes need to be turned in by October 29th.
Winners will be announced on Halloween!

There will also be a special "people's choice" award given.  Voting for this category will be done by open ballot at the Lucky Lady Shop. 
Everyone is invited to vote for their favorite on October 30th. 
All runes will be placed in books at the shop.


The rewards may be subject to change.

Seems nice ! But where do I get all the deco stuff ? Spider webs, skeletons etc ?

Hey, was thinking is it allowed to have 2 houses next to each other if the other house is small and just has a small deco thing that couldn't fit on the main house?

You can buy items from other players, pick some up as loot (body parts, bones, etc.)  A tamed, shrunken hell hound makes for good deco....stuff like that :)  Use your imagination

Mine can turn out ok, but I lack the time since I'm working 2 jobs. I'm also lacking deco. So perhaps next time.

The voting will probably end up being done here on the forums.  For some reason I thought you could do multiple-choice voting with the ballot boxes in game, but apparently they are only Yes or No to a single question.

That's true, but tomorrow starts my 7am-8pm run for the next 4 days. And Sat I'll be working 9am-5pm. So like I said. Not enough time to do it properly.

Hehe, i was decoing about 6-7 hours yesterday. Starting to get done with my houses . :)

I'm going to write up a ballot box item that can be used for voting in the future, players will be able to control them and edit them as needed. They might be craftable too.

Well I ended up with a headache, fell asleep at 6am (GMT), but I'm back on the case so expect a patch tonight guys, been working on the Halloween stuff, some nice unique deco items and misc fun items.

P.S. My house is in Malas, at one of the places of interest.

Found it! :D It's pretty big. I dropped off my rune in your mail box, There were 2 mail boxes, so i put it in Mags. Im horrible at deco (HORRIBLE), but i put together a lil something just to participate.

I think i'm too embarrassed to even drop off a rune...lol...Nigel

you could try the classic stack of individual gold coins and lock a torch down on top, then wait for the coins to decay.. :)

Actually not, this is what i planned right after this contest came, and that books is about my house which i planned before this contest even started :) And you can actually ask players i planned this before you had yours there.

I like the Deceased Alchemist one! Not as big and complex as the others, but done really well!...Also That House, huge fan!...And the one with the bat shaped building!

I love the creativity of Heaven and Hell. That's my first vote. With that said, there are so many wonderful creative ideas throughout all the homes! Kudos to you all for all your hard work.  My second vote(if allowed) would be for ?"Bathouse"?.  I loved how the decorator used items to create the illusion of people/monsters as opposed to npc's.  Great job!

Every design blasted my mind! but i have to say the interactivity of the excavation site astonished me the most :) btw... why are there no souvenir vendors on these houses? It's nice free traffic through this contest. might as well utilize it lol.
