Ok, I know I b*tch in the forums sometimes but I'll give the staff their due too and say I can't log the h*ll out. Even if I'm not doing anything my char' is sitting on the roof of his castle distracted with distractions about what to do next. Thanks, staff, and community too. Great shard! I love it and the friends I've made here in just over a short month.

Ok, I know this is a bit of a hairy subject so I'll bring it up before someone else feels compelled to do it; just want to save some feelings out there, especially when we have some military and former military (myself included) out there who may be more vehement about the subject.

I'd like to inquire about the language guidelines we're to use in the public channels. We have a lot of overseas folks coming in, which is great, and most of my online friends are Scandi or Baltic too. I just kind of gravitate to those guys for whatever reason and also why I'm surprised this even came up given the political and public views of those areas: their 'be one of us or see yourself out' kind of approach.

Ya, I'm saying a lot of nothing but it's leading to something    Today the language was addressed by the server populace, even politely. I was really kind of impressed that it wasn't like many servers where you'd just get blasted for something like that. But what they got in return was the Baltic (I suppose) speaking individuals calling them evil and mean. They weren't being ugly, they were saying just use English in the public channels and to use their own in a party channel.

This all said, what are the guidelines in Pandora? I'm positive the guys 9and ladies) here had it right but I'd like to know. The guilt trips they were being handed (by the two individuals) for upholding the English language, really, kinda p*ssed me off. Not my own shard but just sayin' ..

How many of you dudes played a chick in OSI UO to get free stuff? Maybe you hoped it would keep you from getting PK'ed but it didn't. Maybe you got a friended chest in a T-Hunter's castle to store your loot. Come on, tell us about it ..

Hi, everyone! Just started about four days ago to get myself out of MySpace Bloodlines and to take a break from the 'no thank you' job of metal journalism. I played OSI Catskills for about 6 years, working for Tony at the Travel Lodge making suicide runes and exhaustive runebook sets and even tried my hand at factions and Order Vs Chaos for a while; sucked at it. lol

I was a little ambivalent about a 'free shard' but have to confess I love the way everything's been placed/set (great work, Kon and staff) and everyone has been great so far. (But I've stayed out of Fel!) Took a wrong turn, though, unattended macro'ing in Umbra and I won't have to tell you how that went.

To date, I haven't done anything substantial (expect stay out of Fel), working skills like madness and only recently accumulating some wealth (and staying out of Fel), buying up spellbooks and LRC pieces (and staying the hell out of Umbra) and really looking forward to some Ice dungeon provoking for old time's sake. If anyone needs a backup bard please feel free to hit me up (even if you go to Fel) and thanks, all of you, for the fun I've had for this half a week of 'almost vacation'!

PS: I don't mind Fel and plan to build a home there; separate account, of course!

PSS: I miss the old Encyclopedia Magika!
