I know the yards are cool and they look pretty. Let me hear how mad you guys are at me, or if you agree with me for much better stability of the shard.

Our sweet server worked with me all night to put a block to this DDoS attack we just got hit with -- also set up a lot more security features / firewalls.

On top of that, Dev Azar has been putting "catches" in the crash scripts to decrease the chances dramatically of crashes.

Don't get me wrong the server will crash sometimes, but let's hope with all our work the past day we go back to stable Pandora.

Most of you know DDOS attack is highly illegal, and it is a serious thing, and I am not done with the guy who did it yet.  

But when you get to be a known world, jealousy kicks in and gets the best of the human soul, and feel like they should ruin people's fun for nothing. I am not mad at them, I actually feel sorry for them, and hope they find some real happiness and the attention they want.

- Gargish custom housing no longer is bugged out. Build away!
- Auction System, Auctioners are around the land, type 'auction' around them.
- All Mysticism spells are now in effect except for 'Enchant'. (See Vendor)
- Mining bug is fixed, you can now mine cave floors without hassle.
- Gargoyles now have leather & cloth Wing Armor. (craft, loot, vendor)
- Gargoyles now have shoes, Leather Talons (craft or buy)
- Gargoyles now have half aprons & tails for their waist.
- Many new Gargoyle Shields (craft, loot, vendor)
- Treasures of Tokuno ToT turn in now works.
- Added Gargoyle Clothign & Other items to donation room.
- Items added to Coin room.
- While Flying a buff icon appears on your buff bar.
- Female horn #8 is fixed.
- Added a Pandorian Llama to Donation room, it will rez you by double clicking on it if you die. It's about strong as a Hiryu.

Another Big Update. Please Read. - Konstantine

- Added a Auction System, you will find auctioners around the world. Type 'auction' around them.
- Gargoyle / Ter Mur Artifact system in! It works like the Virtue artifacts, any monster in the fact of Ter Mur
has a chance of putting 1 of over 30 new artifacts in your pack. Read the new artifact PDF on PandoraUO.com forums.
- Pet Bods are in! Go to a animal trainer to start collecting bods for nice prizes including pet power scrolls.
- Added Plant / Reagent System. Reagant plants will be all around on each facet, double clicking them will give you a
good amount of regs, it's worth doing it. Felucca has double the amount in the world than other facets, they grow near trees.
(Tip: Run around hitting cntrl+shift to find them easier)
- Gargoyle's now have their own earrings, they will drop in loot.
- Added Gargoyle glasses, they are stylish with Night Sight & 5 luck, buy from Mystic Vendor
- Added Gargoyle Plate Talons, buy them from Garg Blacksmith, they are Tokuno Dyeable.
- Ship Bug fixed (you can not place every single place, but 90% of the ocean
- Recall runes being blocked fixed, but please remark your runes.
- Fixed bug with female garg tail.
- Added Male & Female Garg body sashes (craft / buy)
- More Gargoyle clothes / supplies added to donation room.
- Added 120 to all skill ball to donation room.

April is Here. Vote.
- The votes have all went back to 0, very important to vote a lot, keep us #1.
- Malas has became Felucca rules & Tokuno has become Trammel rules. (This is better for Balance, trust me)
- You can no longer choose your Greater Treasure of Tokuno Artifact, when you give your lessers to Ihara, he will give you a random one.
- Leurocians Mempo Of Fortune is now a greater tokuno artifact.
- Once again Rough Stone should be easier to mine (and I mean it), also there properties on the runes they make have been modded for Pandora. (Thanks Scratch)
- Added BlackJack & HiLo Card to the Casino.
- New coin monster (Drowned Pirate), also has a chance of being fished up.
- Added evil NPC 'Poop Deck Pappy', has a good chance to drop a can of spinach which will give you +40 str for 5 minutes.
- Added a few things to reward room, seed box, sprinklers, etc. (thanks Ramante)
- New mount, 'Pandorian Cockroach', it's a little stronger than a nightmare, spawns in Abyss Dungeon, Ter Mur. Must have 95.1 to tame it.
- There will be pirates on a ship randomly in oceans, kill the easy Captain to sink their ship!

Just getting some opinions here. If I invested to get Pandora to support the Enhanced client pretty darn good (it supports it now, just fairly buggy), along with 2d (obviously) -- How many people would actually play Pandora using the 3d?

So after long debate, I believe Malas going to be Felucca rules and Tokuno trammel rules.

But take note, all of the walls inside luna will be rules like Insula to make a good shopping environment.


Reasons why is balance. Felucca has always been higher risk = higher reward

And most of the high reward places are in Malas. Doom for example, Guantlet, Fan Dancer Dojo & the Mines (considered Malas, but on outside is Tokuno)

Just to let you guys know, I been putting in Town Houses. They act just like houses but they are in town buildings, normal map buildings etc.

Right now if your under 10xgm - you can rent an apartment by going in the green gate by the training elementals. The cost is 360 gold a day, pretty good, it acts just like a small house.

Let me know if other buildings you guys are interested in buying / living / and inhabiting.

Introducing to Pandora... Rune Imbuing 03/23/2010

This system enables scribes to craft many different runes, each one having a different effect when inscribed to weapons, armor, clothing or jewelry.

inscription is required for crafting the runa and adding it to the equipment.

The scribe requires a Rune Chisel as the crafting tool and a blank rune in addition to casting reagents.



Rune Imbuing can add all kind of modifications to your gear, there is no limit on how many modifications your weapon can have, but do keep in mind like with any enhancing, there is a chance of it breaking, on the 1st attempt and any attempt after that.


How it works is there is a small chance of mining something called a Rough Stone
(note* You are allowed to macro mining afk, if you run into the bug where it's saying target cannot be seen on the mine floor use relative location in razor or mine the side of mountains)

Once you have a Rough Stone You find a vendor in the magic shop called the Rune Imbuing Crafter to buy a Rune Chisel. To use the chisel you must be at least 100.00 Magery & the higher Inscription the better chance to use succeed.

Once you open the Chisel Hammer gump you will see you can make a Blank Rune from the Rough Stone.

1 Rough Stone = 1 Blank Rune.

You can then use the blank rune to craft any of the modification runes to try and use on your weapon, you will see a full list of them. All of them have the same chance of success / fail.. The following is a list of what each rune will do for your weapon if you succeed.

Once you crafted your specific rune, double click it and target your item. Remember there is a chance of fail even on the double clicking of your runic, with also the chance of fail once you click your item, and the item being lost. If success a random amount will be added to your item from the Runic you chose to try and Imbue on. There is no limit of how many Imbuing one item can take.


Side note -  Added Rough Stone Packs on Donation store along with Valorite Runic Hammer & Barbed Sewing Kit.

- GARGOYLE ANIMATIONS NOW WORK, FLYING, FIGHTING, THROWING!
- Female Gargoyles can now be created with horns.

- Spell casting has been modded. You must get Faster Casting 4 and Faster Casting Recovery 8 to cast the fastest. Casting has been sped up!
- Added a Mysticism reg stone
- Gargoyle Mystic now sells 'Bone'
- Added the Gargoyle Stealable Artifact 'Mystic's Guard' a bit modded from OSI, it's a nice shield. (Underworld)
- Added the Gargoyle Stealable Artifact 'Valkyrie's Glaive' - a nice soul glaive (throwing) (Abyss)
- Gargoyles Can not use Archery.
- Only Gargoyles Can use Throwing weapons.

These are current known bugs - just so we don't keep explaining the same thing.


- The new Gargoyle walls, floors, etc are bugged, do not use them in the custom housing feature right now.

- Mining, it will tell you target cannot be seen on the Mine floor. To get around this use Relative Location feature in razor, or just mine the side of mountains.

- Gargoyle Fighting Animations, this is a big project being worked on a lot, On the next reboot we will already have a fix for starting / stopping flying animations.

- Gargoyle Female Horns, are disappearing making all you cuties bald, this is no problem and will be fixed soon also.

- Beat with us, remember nobody has had a live shard with Stygian Abyss, means we pretty much have 0 support. When your the first to do something, you have to pave a road. Were working hard.
