Howdy Pandora citizens.
About once a year I like to start a discussion to get the players opinions on any minor (nothing is too small) or major tweaks to make Pandora more efficient and better gameplay. I know we have other parts of the forum for ideas / suggestions, etc. We do read them, but I'd like to consolidate the needs and wants for the current time in here. I will consider all things posted as a reply here. Please think for the good of the shard as a whole as opposed to personal gain. (though it can be both), players feel free to comment on any suggestion, but please use quotes as to what you are referring to. You can make as many as you can think of.
Please be very simple in your suggestion. Use the following format:
Example)
Suggestion: Add the +1 Pet Unlocker Statue to Pandora Coins "for suggested amount" and Voting Stone "Suggested Amount"
Why: Many great pet duos can be accomplished by having 6 slots, if they want more they can donate for more. But having the price set that high will take possibly months of hunting and trading to get that many coins and will give an option to those who cannot ever donate.

i do agree this suggest,you can take plant quests from naturalist npc,when you complete this quest you can get some rare seeds,like aqua-purple-rare pink and fire red,in our server i cant see someone selling - trading white plant dye and shadow black plant dye,this plants rare to get,you can get it when you crossbreeding your plants,i did more than 400 time crossbreeding and i didnt get any rare colors,long time ago you can get many with this way,somethinks changed maybe its bugged idk but many people looking to get this colors,thy

To possibly get the 8 white or black seeds from a crossbreed, is worth the effort Pandora Wiki also goggle (UO plant cross breeding) is very insightful.
If you do your homework, suddenly doesn't seem so daunting. My opinion is to keep it as it is. The best things are the ones you work for. Empati 400 tries would take 2800 days. DO you remember the things I shared about crossbreeding? I will help anyone who is interested just let me know! If you need more help Empati with the process I will help any way I can!
Tameables on Pandora. I think the pet such as the Demonic dragon should be a 5 slot pet. With hit points going up on mobs, it is time for Pandora to have more than the Greater and Bane dragons for use in helping players. It would give each and everyone the ability to own one, as long as their skills are high enough to tame it and control it. If that means easing up some on their stats and skills, make it so that all skills ex. {tame, lore, vet} have to be 125 before you could control it etc. I think would be worth it. The Demonic Dragon even scaled back some could and would help us all stand more as equals. Yes, I know the + 6 slot unlock is going to be sold for gold and for a tidy sum I'm sure. I am also aware that it takes a very long time to have the gold resources needed when so many other things are just as important, if not more so than the pet slot. I don't know. I only want great things for Pandora and I never want to see my Pandora turn into the shard of the Have's and Have Not's. Something to think about.

PS I would love to see more shard events they are great even if you don't win!
I would love to see more craftable deco added ex. the "gargoyle" carpenter craftables and the "gargoyle" masonry craftables , but if nothing else the round short table. These once craftable items can be seen in Royal City between the Museum and the city center. Located on the grassy Noll lol below the museum. Thanks

I would really like to see bio engineering to be added to the server because I have noticed a lot of servers have it. 😀
Lets start the list
1. Sheep Statue is a 7th year Veteran Reward that produces 10 Wool or Leather of random type each day. It stores a maximum of 100 resources which can be retrieved by double-clicking on the statue. Bring back our ore carts
2. Imbues added for clothing examples. skills that cant be raised above 100 ( arms lore ) ( forensic eval ) ( posion) craft bonus to clothes just adding a few more imbues..
3. Fix airnets vs bolas in pvp easy to see that Gargs have advantage in pvp with bolas vs. airnets.
4. The best non donation pet in game cant be used because it requires an extra slot The slot is at the o coin store but cant be bought. Simple fix add to store menu.
5. We need either new player helpers who are on or new staff at least a counsellor who can screen and write in a book to give to noll or Kong.
6. Bring back battlenecklace . were getting pvp coins for battles but no new necklace's
7. Make it so can make unraveling runes for skills. I have tossed tons of nice talis and jewelry because had 2 skills
8. Put the ethy hellhound in p coin store don't see it in donation house anymore.
8. Fix young player Once a person has a certain skill count don't need to stay young forever and a lot of us vet players help them a lot
9. Any way to fix lumberjacking? Only getting 1 chop on a tree and rarely get any of the mats from lumberjacking.
10. Leave infested as is. Great system and do not add 125 ps exchange. vets can get enough ps's no need to give away a rare item
11. if luna house players are no longer playing i.e. haven't logged in in months make the houses saleable ( big goldsink item)

i do agree some,but pvp is complicated and every class have different advantage and disadvantage,i can tell you so many about it,about your 10,matter its totaly about my suggestion and selfish i am already get many 125 ps like you i did got this ps's very hardly but i am still saying its vvill be good if its in barrel exchange vvith high credit so all players can have chance to get it and pandora vvill be clear from many non useless ps's,,our king open this topic for nevv suggestions so this topic not for discussion,so you trying to attack me everyvvhere but you should vvrote your suggestions and explain it vvhy,like our king example,you just vvrote vvhat you vvant and you didnt say vvhy,also do not try again to transport our fight to here,, this is not nice,

Don't quote me in posts then complain because I speak my opinion.
There is sadly no way for Gargs to travel on the sea without ships, I have tried.
And to empatis shoutout to ps, I designed em to be rare, I do not wish to see em in a exchange barrel.
But Yea, I have tried various ways to make Gargs travel on water, and the "gargoyle airways" doesn't work to just place em, since its buggy if it's not actually in the server maps, which will then differ and require a hardpatch, which is something we do not want on Pandora (personal patch for just Pandora)

1. Ore carts are highly exploitable and would crash the entire shard, we don't want them back.
2. I'll talk to Noll about this, seems like a decent idea.
3. Explain this more. Gargs will have an advantage sometimes, but why is Airnets not up to par? Specific.
4. I'd it to be a Voting Token item. What would be a high and fair price for it? Chickens suggestion is 20.5k Vote Tokens. Would take awhile, but not that long if you bought from other players, would give new players a way to make money from filthy rich vets. Obviously the price were Vote token will go up if this +1 Slot Unlocker is added.
5. We would like one, but it's hard for players to not use a counselor as an advantage for finding out where people are. Though I do have an idea for a very limited one, where a player can just answer things in global chat, PMs or pages through that char.
6. Battle necklaces should drop now at the top place for the Battles week.
7. Will talk to Noll about this.
8. They do automatically go Un-Young don't they? Does anyone know the exact time or amount of skills for that to happen?
9. Lumberjacking is fine, it's made like that because people never just Lumberjack, they simply just script it AFK. If people didn't do that, it would be different.
10. Noll handled this.
11. We would like that, but its hard to know when someone really has left for good or just gone for summer, etc. Still working on a better system for this.

A lot of servers have it because it's free easy system to install, thats why almost all new servers have it. It's not original. Early on in Pandora I played with it, but realized it had very bad long term effects. It's OK for shards that won't last more than a few months (99% of them), but when you're over 7 years, it's a different thing. hehe

What kind of stats would this 5 slot Demonic Dragon you are suggesting have?
1,suggestion; make avalaible to vvear clothing shirts vvith breastplate for gargoyle class,
vvhy; other classes can vvear 6 cloth [except cloth doom arties) vvith full armors,gargoyle class can vvear 4 cloth vvith full armors,you can add very importand runes like accuary and healing increase only to clothes,so i see gargoyle classes already have talisman vvith %45 healing inc for balance but this is not solved other specific properties and seems there is a no balance vvith other properties,
2,suggestion; add blue diamonds gems drop to some champs monsters or boss

After reading a few posts wanna reply.
1. Young player status-Not quite sure how long it does last but know it goes off hours played. I know people our alliance/guild have helped hold there own on champ spawns easily.
2. On the Demonic Dragon ( 6 slots ) Personally wouldn't wanna see it changed but a new 5 slot pet maybe just a tad stronger than a greater drag but not quite as strong as the 6 slot.
3.No gem drops need to be added ( and no Emapti i am not attacking you ) you get plenty by doing t maps or hunt ice make sure there on autoloot and grab options
4. Will test airnets vs bolas and repost
5. I do agree with running multiple toons off same ip for events if caught should be a major punishment.
6. Along that line running 2 toons at same time in doom should it be allowed?
7. not real sure on vote token price for extra pet slot you can get 12 a day

I double checked his drops, and he drops quite a bit of stuff. He has even a chance to drop a crimson, along with Pandora Coins, O Coins, and other artifacts.

can we get the p coins taken out of the sos's and have o coins added instead. We already get p coins out of t maps and there is a whole new land where we get p coins as well.
Defiantly would make more sense to get o coins from sos. Also wonder If we can get the master runebook fixed? You have to click on book 10 and then scroll up for book you want.
i am doing fishing everyday and killing alot krakens-charybidis so i can tell this its hard to collect ocoins,i agree this suggestion,and maybe you can put more ocoins on krakens thank you

As someone who does a lot of fishing, tmaps, and sos's I can say that the loot is good for mats, scrolls, regs and cash. I don't really think it needs a fix. There is a process to max out your ocoins per day and it involves the nets that come in every sos chest. Each net can land you from 0 to 18 ocoins. Basically you want a kracken to spawn from the net and as many as three krackens can be spawned from one net. But you don't always get krackens. If anything the frequency to pull out a large fish from fishing should go up a bit. The last time I fished (last night) I got approx. 4 large fish per hour and you can change those in for an ocoin. Maybe an exchange stone for pcoin to ocoin would be better and easier to implement. I'm not asking... just shooting out an idea.

i agree totaly about big fishes,you can change your every big fishes only for 1 ocoin,i see on some other shards giving some good revvards for your big fish stone,thy for giving this suggest,

How about a weapon to dismount gargs. I think the lance with its special dismount should take down a garg from flight. As of right now the dismount special only works if both parties are using a lance. You can still keep that, but if a garg is using a cyclone (has a dismount special like the lance) and the attacker/defender is using a lance, the lances dismount special should take down a garg from flight.
No one uses lances right now so it would add some diversity to pvp.

I agree Des when you can hit a Garg with an anti air net and there back up and flying in a sec vs elf/human dismounted gets a stun effect

No one uses lances right now so it would add some diversity to pvp.
I had a similar discussion with Noll about the No Dachis dismount special not working many moons ago. I agree with Johana, gargs can dismount in flight wenshould be able to land a garg while mounted. We still need to look into 120+ hiding in pvp. Absolutely retarded to script that when life gets to xxx points you auto hide in direct line if sight and stealth away while bandy healing and not getting revealed.
On the topic of hiding, maybe allowing the area spells like wither/holy light to reveal if within the splash area of the attack? Can keep it as no damage as it is now.

i agree your suggestion johana,thy for telling this,i am not sure but i think long time ago it vvas like that,its not nice to players going to hide vvith magery spell invisibility and he is not going to unreavel vvith are effect spells,also i vvill put some screen shot about tiger set after this tiger set got t5,so you guys can see so clear vvhat i mean
Just to be clear on my intentions about making a suggestion about the lance and being able to take down a garg. It would only work when a garg has a cyclone in his hand as it would if two non-garg mounted characters each were using lances. I made this suggestion to make the lance a viable pvp tool not as a hit to the garg class, plus with more players with lances the more jousting can be done in the field.

Told you before, it's not a property that makes em do "twice" the damage, it's part of having higher intelligent.. It doesn't double the dmg, just adds a portion which is armor ignoring

i did try it again,, did try it on monsters too,so i am sure its same as like double hit,2,damage can broke your spells,also you said vvariors can heal fast vvith bandage's,its not, any spell alvvays make fingers slip to your enemy so you cant heal your self good vvith bandage also,can you check it again?i am just trying to offer solve it,i think this is vvill be problem,maybe nevv property can vvork against all spells to block like evasion vvith %10 chance cap,thank you

I would like to see colored nets back on Pandora. I know they used to be inside fished up SOS chest on occasion. I was told sometimes you might get one on Kathooloo. I am not sure I have never gotten one. I would love to see them randomly appear in a chest, or a corpse.

Colored nets do still spawn. They are very rare but I can assure you they spawn. As far as your pet's skills, I could be wrong here, but I do believe you need to do the taming bods in order to obtain pet power scrolls in order to raise up over 100.
can we get the sea horses set to 1 pet slot. We can't use them to fight or even train them up.
and can we get something to add spell channeling to fishing poles.
I tend to agree no reason seahorse shouldn't be 1 slot pet. Even trained they suck at combat. Would also like to see a decent sea pet. The sea wyrm is not bad but something new always welcome.

So after being on this server for 4 days my one and only complaint is to add more things to kill in the newb dungeon!!! please!! lol.
Or meet us (newbs) halfway and at least make the single, and the 3x newb token lesser-mob drops a different object/graphic - something larger and easier to click and drag would save a lot of irritation for the newer players in my humble opinion. Spending an extra 3-5 seconds trying to click a single token is mind numbing. I'm sure there are workarounds or a way to auto-loot but the point I'm going for is: We want that beginner area to pique the interest of wandering UO players coming into Pandora to stick around. Even though the devs did a fantastic job creating a system for new players to catch up... I've seen players who are looking for a new shard to call home reject it for stuff even more silly than this rant. I personally was able to ignore it as it is admittedly incredibly trivial, but hey, Noll said "nothing is too small" when he made this post so I digress :P
On a positive note. The playerbase here is exceptionally receptive to new players. Unlike the typical vast majority of the shards out there. I had explored 6-7 other shards before I found this one. Spent 2-3 days on the majority of them before moving on and my greatest reason for leaving was due to a total lack of communication both in game and my attempts to join guilds on the forums. Hell I even joined a discord channel for a shard and it was like talking to a brick wall. I'll leave names out of this as it would be bad form, but one shard I tried had 500+ active according to the counter. I made a very simple, informative guild recruitment pm to 4 different GMs. Made sure to follow their given templates for asking to join and all that jazz, and that was more than a week ago. not a single one has responded yet.
Within the first 30 minutes of logging into Pandora I had an in-game player asking me if I needed help. And before my paperdoll even said my account was more than a day old both Empati and Flint had responded to me in the forums. Empati was the first so I've now made my home in HB. Him and a couple others have already given me so much that I'm damn near a couple days from shedding my young status already.
Maintain this trend and without a doubt this shard will grow and flourish.
Edit: Totally lost my attention span and missed the "suggestion" and "why" format you asked for hahahaha.

i do agree that nevvbie dungeon can have more monsters and can drop more tokens from each monster,you can add everything you vvant to loot on uos-autoloot,so you dont have get suffer vvith it ;)

Can just multiply the drop, so the minimum amount of coins will be the big stack, and just do the same for the prces on the stone.. simple fix!

So someone here showed me how to use the uos autoloot properly, (i was used to razor's version bugging out and crashing constantly so i didnt use it). Needless to say I retract my statement about drag and dropping the coins, I was able to clear the whole dungeon and get my tokens in half the time it would've normally taken me

The beautiful Elder Wyrm pcoin mob, where is it? Does it exist? Is it a fable? Can it's existence be proven? Please add more spawns into shard so the possibility of being killed by one becomes reality! I'm 4 years in and I have never even spotted a track!

The Elder Wyrm spawns South East of the Chaos shrine and another on an island North West T2A and can only be gotten to by boat or sea horse.
