There's absolutely tonnes of new content added each month, there's probably a lot of new things you haven't experienced here since you were last playing, but it's hard to tell, I'm not sure how long you've been gone.

I have been offline for maybe one year, from looking at the shard changes you suggested a lot has changed.

I  will ask around in game to see if any of my old guild are still around, maybe they can fill me in on the important bits. I imagine i will need to start work omn a whole new suit, mine will be out dated...
