I've asked for that before, because in my opinion that whole AI spamming not only does that high dmg, it also reduces PvP - in battles, in duels and also in field. But it seemed that my idea wasn't well received...
And you were right, Ladibug: A few hits, and who hits first and in that moment better, is the winner. That is it.

The coming nerf (close range = useless) is a good start, i agree. On range though it doesn't matter if we have 330+ HP now or maybe 400 after next patch - the damage will adjust...

It is not who hits first or who can get 3 in a row we have all seen this you can hit hotkey greater heal and heal off the damage before the 2nd one hits which I have proven plenty of times.

Also the same reason why battles with 2 people with AI can still go on for 20+ mins I have seen one with Drak and Jo and one with Me and Jo.

Also have seen Ladibug have some long fights to as well this way.

The only time you cant heal it off is if 3 people hit you at the exact same time with it obviously which also make sense.

Because you cannot kill anyone with OSI base dmg on Pandora.^^

You also gotta look at what Vorspire already stated the new patch will have higher health and regen imbues and new facet will have higher health items.

I do see Catmans reasoning I mean yah if I was holding a glaive and couldn't throw it I would punch someone with it but this does keep it fair for all races.  I do like the small differences in skills as I like both MS on my Garg and also Moving Shot on EJ both have good uses.

Also though if you were punching with a glaive in hand I would still consider that wrestling be like using brass knuckles pretty much

Haha that was me party at my castle I spent 70% of the day yesterday craft unraveling and than unraveling those item to so I think I will be pretty good on mats :).

Seriously glaives are ment to be the exact equal as bows so this is a good idea.  By not doing this to a glaive you would be giving Gargs an upper hand over humans/elves.  It is ment to be balanced so this makes perfect sense.  Also it is a lot more realistic try shooting a bow right next to a target and it wont work so well so this is exactly how it should be.  Either stay away from your target like a bow is intended for or use a melee weapon almost everyone has at least 2 weapons so I don't see the issue with this??  Fighting a monster that pulls you in?  Hammerpick/hatchet/spear still work very well.

Something in the code is probably doing something like a <= instead of < or maybe the other way around.
Suffice to say, I did clear up a few bugs and I am considering disabling the maximum rating cap in favour of simply having the count cap. -Imagine the potential of your gear then, to be able to imbue everything at max intensity without having to obey the rating cap? ;) Not set in stone, but I can turn it off and on at the 'flip of a switch'...

I love this idea I hate being 1 imbue short because of the lack of the room :)

Increasing the system to 1 month would be a lot better.

I can see the reasoning in it though.

Doom will always be doom people do it or they don't no matter what server.

Battles are a daily event that makes our server special over the other ones out there so it is good to promote on that I personally think it is a great idea to separate us from the rest.

But yes we would need to increase the seasons from 1 week to 4 to make them more rare so that not everyone will have one in less than 2 months

Anyone can get a Jackyls Collars though by doing doom over and over again.

As for battle neckys you have to be super active in order to get in the top 2 rank to get one of these otherwise what would be the point of going to battles?  IF that is the case I would rather be ranked #3 and take my 3 Relic Fragments over a necky that no one wants.

Think this is more of a ploy to get people to be more active and play since this announcement battles has been busy again and a lot more fun than when you have 2-3 people in there.
