First few days on shard was decent. I liked it for being new to the game, but then I got robbed by a guy named A Silver Serpent for an imbue, and then he gated me to his house on an island where his guild pked me after taking the rest of my money for insurance n took all I had.

I love PVP, but this is a little too extreme for a guild of experienced players... even for a harsh PVP game such as this one.

Either way, if this is how all new players get treated then I wouldn't expect them to stay either.

I'n a PvP reality you should expect that a red character will scam you, kill you and rob you. Use your common sense and it will never happen.
Follow few simple rules: trust noone, never step into gates casted by a stranger, trade only in safe areas, check trade window before hitting accept, don't venture into Fel facets if you're not ready to get killed and robbed. Stick to this and you will never have to post a whiny leaving thread that makes you look stupid.

it's a pretty low thing to do to new players though, really, regardless of the rules (or lack thereof) making it possible.

I can help replace some of your stuff if you like, leblank - don't let a few complete arseholes spoil your experience of the best uo free shard :p

I am sorry you had a bad experience, but that is just 1 player out of a couple hundred that play here.

There is 3 trammel (no pvp) facets and 3 fel ones (pvp) -- there is plenty of room to not be able to get PKed.

I hope you reconsider your stay here. Just let this scenario make you smarter and wiser.
