Question concerning UOSALoader and Enhanced Client

So...yeah, I know there isn't a lot of love for the enhanced client, and I've read posts from people asking how to get it to work, and all that jazz. I know the 2D client is better, and I'll probably continue to use it...but...


I really, really just want to try it out. And since I don't want to PAY to try it out, i figured I could use the UOSALoader to patch the UOSA.exe....only problem is, if I try to type in play.pandorauo.com for the IP address, it throws up an error and won't patch.

So...long story short, I really want to see what the enhanced client has to offer, and I'm technically savvy enough to do just about anything with a quick walkthrough on how to do it. I'm sure there's gotta be a way right? I was told to hexedit, which I ....tried....but it all looked greek to me.

Can anyone help?

i did all the things found on the net and been busy with it for quite some time, untill it eventually loaded up no errors, but it didnt take me to the server selection screen. so, im guessing that it is no longer enabled on this server. (they have to change the server setup for it to work too). Would be nice if Xeen or konstantine could reply on this though. If somoeone DID get it to work, for the sake of programming... where did I (or we) go wrong?

I believe it's enabled and just not supported.

Last I saw it was a play at your own risk kind of deal.  The post for how to get it working however appears to be deleted.  So if you figure it out please send me a PM as i'd be interested in trying it as well.

Pandora runs at the latest client meaning you can run enhanced client. I use to personally use it a lot. Enhanced has bugs on osi as well as here, stuff like, an animation looks funny etc. Not a huge deal. We no longer "support" help on it because it's a whole separate thing and we need as much time as possible so we can keep delivering new things in Pandora.

There are some players currently playing Pandora right now using EC so might want to find who it is and ask how they got it loaded.

I will look into it myself an easy way to connect incase people want to use it but just not offer support help on it.

That good idea, alot of ppl looking to try EC . have some very good stuff.... but i dont know how to connect to pandora with him
