Veterinary Problems

I cannot figure this out.. Ive been trying to raise my veterinary skill and it keeps telling me You can not perform beneficial acts on this target. Pet isnt bonded and still have a young tag. Would these have anything to do with that or am i completely missing something else?

It's because you are young. You have to wait till you don't have the title anymore, OR, if you want, you can get rid of it by saying : I renounce my young player status.  Note that this is permanent.
