Hi and a question.

Hi, I'm Karzack.  I have been away from UO for quite a while.  I think I left before Age of Shadows came out.  I mainly play just to have fun and try not to get too serious.  My last character I remember was a warrior/bard hybrid.  A lot of fun, but not much for power gaming.

I have a couple of questions, although I'm sure I will have many others.  I noticed that there are no reagents spawning on the ground.  Was this just turned off or is it something else?  Maybe I just didn't notice them on the ground.

Also, I notice the skill gains are faster than I remember.  Is this part of Pandora, or UO in general.  Not a complaint, but more curiosity.

Great work on the shard, I have never played a player run shard.  I love the no skill limit.  Although I am a bit on overload coming back and seeing all of the changes.

I know how you feel. I left UO post AoS. It is quite a shock to see all the changes. Anything you remeber from your last experiences has almost all but become extinct. All armor has resists with leather being the most popular know. The regs, well, those aren't your best friend anymore. It is in the beginning, but you will learn fast that you want a 100% LRC (lower reg cost) suit. You wont need them to cast spells with a suit like that   . The fast gains are a benefit of being on Pandora. This shard is new and they are adding more content weekly. I have grown every accustom to the shard here and the people are great. So, you can actually get to a point where you don't need regs at all?  I'm not sure what to think of this.  I'm not a magic user though.

Also, I noticed at the bottom of Deceit.  My cyclopian an titan friends where no longer down there.  I swear that is where I used to go 'play' with them.

I don't know if I could play on another shard without no skill cap anymore.  I was spoiled the same day that I started.  I agree that the people are great here, just from the little I have seen.  There will always be bad apples, but I think they will be taken care of pretty quickly.

Spawns are different to a degree. Most creatures spawn just as they do in OSI, but some mods have been made such as the amount and times of spawn. There will also be creatures you have never seen before such as Coin Mobs that drop pandora coins used to buy items from the donation room. You will notice sevaral changes from what you are used to, but you will come to love it here and it will become second nature to you.
