Hello Pandora!

A friend has told me alot about this game and has finally convinced me to give it go. I know UO is big with PvP but im not lol. My friend told me most the PvPers play on a shard called descendants thats also run by this shard owner? Something like that. So before I start to give Pandora a go can someone tell me a little more about the PvP here? My friend is really pushing to get me to play so im sure shes just telling me what I want to hear.

PvP dont bother me, I just want to be able to peacefully build a character and enjoy the game. And from my understanding this is nothing like WoW.. Others can kill you and take your stuff/items? lol

We have an awesome system here that includes the ability to insure your items, so if you choose to PvP, or if you just happen to be in a bad neighborhood...lol, you don't lose your items as long as they are insured.  We also have the ability to bless armor and weapons permanently instead of insuring them. 

You can use a bank stone (donator item) or "bag of sending" (quest reward) to safely stash away items while you're out hunting so that you don't lose them if you die.

So other than the pure humiliation of seeing yourself in ghostly robes and the possibility of losing a little bit of gold (insurance money pulled from your bank to cover your items), dieing isn't so bad if you're prepared for the chance that it could happen

You will love it here, no worries building a character in many areas that are non PVP, if you are interested in Guilds, Ours SoP, NPA and SOUL are all no PVP allowed and all would be happy to have you.
