Read back in one of the updates these can be exchanged for rewards, googled the location, the pool with waterfalls in the north of the underworld.  Is this system still going or has it been removed, or am I in the wrong place?

Should still work, stand on the steps of that fountain and double click the coin.

You have a chance at a relic fragment, enchanted essence, a 5 minute stat buff, or luck sandals.
