Where do you find Hell Armor?
Moongate > high seas > the ancient cove.
The ancient hell hound spawns once a day on the island in the middle
What are the stats on a ancient hell hound?
I see general stats on the UO guide but not how many HP?
Solo with a pet?
he is on par with other boss level critters. like dread horn, he teleports around and has some annoying spawn.
use a pet if you can manage both you and the pet for sure. and on that same note if you see posiedon on the way in and tackle him, don't use a pet.
Funny, in almost 3 years here I've never been able to see the hell hound, someone please invite me the next time he's there. LOL......Nigel

i think you were there, when i had that halloween bash in the pyramids.. used like 5 hellhounds =P
