Title: Help with Stealth
Post by: Bruce Campbell on February 10, 2011, 06:56:18 PM
Hi,

Im having a problem increasing my stealth.

I have been training Hiding and am at 88.8 now. I have trained stealth to 30.3 from theif guildmaster in New Haven. I have been walking and hiding and stealthing for about an hour now and keep seeing "now counting stealth steps" ... 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

However after 1hour I am still at 30.3.

I have checked the posts on this forum and viewed stratics and have tried gloves/gorget and just robe and even full leathers, however nothing.

Anybody shed any light on what im doing wrong?

Thx

Bruce

Stealth Training Guide (what to wear)

00-25 Train from Theif Guildmaster NPC
25-64 Leather Gorget, Gloves
65-84 Ringmail Gloves, Ringmail Sleeves, Leather Gorget
85-95 Ringmail Legs, Leather Tunic, Studded Sleeves, Studded Gorget
95-120 Leather Legs, Leather Cap, Chain Tunic, Ringmail Sleeves, Studded Gorget

Only took me a couple of hours once I followed the above armor guide from Super Bob

Unfortunately I had already read that post on this forum and stratics, however i have again tried raising my stealth today 30mins to 1 hour and not one skill gain.
I walked naked.
I walked with robe.
I tried with gloves and gorget.
you get the picture. :)

I think something may be wrong.

Could somebody please advise with my next step.

Just google razor macro for stealth and let it run...I think I gained 0-60 naked..then like 60-80 with leather on..then 80-gm with platemail on. You dont need to walk around it will hide you then stealth and repeat. That should solve your problem I never had any issues gaining in stealth. Hope that helps, if not pm me in game.
