As someone who was just starting imbuing, it seems much less intimidating and a lot more welcoming and easier to understand. Also, the color coded magical weight helps me a lot considering how different items are compared to when I last played UO (quit right after T2A release). Now if I can just put together a good Gargoyle luck suit!

Personally, i think this was a very good update. I like the new imbuing system, there's now alot of different mats which doesn't make it all about roughs and relics. It's now possible to imbue the lower stuff such as LRC, Luck Resists, etc... at less cost, which being a fairly new player i think is very good. Makes it easier to fix the new player with some decent stuff.

Also like the new Chaos / Order guild. Brings back some memory   when i last played guild were alligned that way, so when i came here i didn't really know what factions were about.

Anyway, good job on the update

it's probably because everyone's busy learning the new imbuing system!

i've liked it so far, though relics seem incredibly hard to get now - fingers crossed for the return of some quest to turn in lower end mats for them!

having said that, by seemingly trying to keep it unscriptable at the moment, it's gonna put a huge activity injection into the economy, which is never a bad thing :)

i really like the (dare i say it) wow-style colour coding on the items, it's a very good way to make quality discernible at a glance and to let us know what's worth keeping to unravel.  makes me wonder what else could be taken from wow and done uo style (achievements!!).

only questions i have are whether all glasses are going to be unimbuable from now on, or if that's a bug that needs squelching; when will the soul forge return?

The colour coding is great, means you can loot quicker as your not reading every prop an item has.  Altho I think relics are very hard to get now. so some trade up system like we had before will be needed.
As for the new imbu system I like it, a lot less random than the old one.  I think all the new mats needed will get ppl in to new parts of Ten Mur, as they go looking and colecting the new items they need.
So I think once the bugs have been ironed out and the forge put back again, we can say a job well done, Thx to kon & Xeen for all there hard work   :D  :D  :D

All of the changes are great in my opinion.  The color coding is extremely useful.  The fixes that were done recently were necessary.  It was much too easy to imbue there for a while.  However, currently, its nearly impossible to get a relic frag.  You can no longer unravel imbued items.  There is no longer a quest to turn in EE for frags.  You have an extremely small chance of getting a frag from a champ spawn.  And you need 5 frags in most cases to attempt to imbue one property.  Obviously its too hard now, there needs to be a balance.  What is everyone's opinion on this subject?
