Title: Playing on a MAC
Post by: MissChiff on May 30, 2011, 10:13:34 PM
Is it possible to play on a Mac? I've done a general search on the forums but can't seem to find any info on the subject. I have two friends who want to play with me but can't seem to get it to run on a Mac.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Two ways to do this with the second working 100%.

1) http://www.winehq.org/ (http://www.winehq.org/)
you can try the famous windows emulator to try simulate it.

2) http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads (http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads)

You download the macos X version and you set up a virtual computer. You define a portion of ram , cpu and disk space and there you have your virtual pc ready. You install windows xp and there you have it.

So basically you can play uo on your mac through a virtual windows xp environment.
Seriously this is not nuclear physics if you dl the above and google a bit you will get it right.

Good luck.
