The last time I checked the bags were 500 coins. I heard people got them for 250 coins the day they were put up. I just checked to see if anything new was put in and now they're 2000 coins? I can understand 500 coins but 2000? makes me just want to sell the 400 coins I was saving up.
alot of the items in the coin room have been changed MULTIPLE times..
the ethy deamon has been changed at least twice that I know of.
and the dye tubs have been changed numerous times as well.
i think it's because when you put the aids and reagents into the bag, they become weightless, making the bag far more valuable than 'just' a blessed bandage/reagent bag that holds a normal supply
i also had to do a double take when i arrived at the donation room to get the bag and saw it was 2000 coins now!!!
i'm with you on the surprise at the change fearfactory, but in looking at it, fully understand it (STILL kicking myself for getting something else instead when the bags were at 500 coins ... erm ... i wos working on some decor stuff and instead of the blessed reagent bag, am now the 'proud' owner of a bubbling cauldron, a hanging sword rack and a tapestry ... donkey ears sprout out the side of me head every time i walk past them!
the economy on this server is starting to take shape as we now constantly have 100+/- people on at a time ... coins are becoming hard to get, making coin reward items far more valuable ...
i equate it to the rough stones ... they'd be worthless if ya could get them all the time :-)
inflation is an invitation to crimes.
I will adjust the bag around to be a little lower...
When I put new items up, most the time I announce it. Any the people who jump on it the first day or 2 usually get the deal.
And the bag like others said, makes everything weightless. It's super valuable.
Can the bag hold anything else (like say ingots) or is it just reagents/bandaids?!
I don't know about that, but as the name says, seems not. And i kinda like it that way (we have pack horses/beetles for crafters)
i agree that if the bag is weightless it should be priced higher, it keeps the lrc items from being obsolete but it also makes them more valuable for younger players which hopefully, will bring down the price for those items making it easier for younger player to afford that type of gear :D
Quotealso makes them more valuable for younger players which hopefully, will bring down the price
Rival you just exploded my mind contradicting yourself in the same sentence.
lol...

Eh?
Nobody answered my question, can anything be put in the bags or only regs/bandaids?!
Holy shit.. What's the bag called?
It is in the donation/coin room..
Only reg/aids can be put into it....
Oh shit, really? That's why it's called reagent/bandage bag??? WELL THAT MAKES SENSE

Oh shit, really, feel the need to be a smartass? The only reason I asked is, if it were a resource bag, 2000 coins sounded like a reasonable price, but for just a reagent/bandaids bag that seemed very high priced. Plus having it limited to just two things seems counter productive, why not make it so you could use it as a mining bag with no weight limit on the ore. Or lumber bag. Or leather. People would still use pack animals if they cant afford one but they would have a nice alternative.
Sounds like you should request that to be added. 2000 coins seems fair to me. I would never have to restock regs and bandies after I die. Sounds awesome. I can res, heal up, put on my gear and be ready to fight again.

Plus, as was mentioned previously, it's WEIGHTLESS. Perfect for farming and taking fewer bank trips/using less transloc. powder.
60k bandies and 60k of EACH reg? Sounds pretty cheap to me.

Hell yea, I need to use up around 180 stones for carrying around all my regs (and that's because i don't carry alot of each). With that bag i'd carry a ton of each, and would be able to carry a few more K's of gold with me before i had to go on a bank trip or use a bag of sending...
That bag is probably meant to be rare, since it's a great tool. I don't see a reason for that to have a lower price.
these are my 2 cents
2000 coins, how many dead medusas is that? How many people can solo a medusa? How many dead edyns is that? How many people can solo an edyn? See what Im getting at?
No, Domos. What is your point? It's not easy enough for you? It's weightless and holds reagents and bandages. A HUGE bonus. So get to farming those coins.
To tell you the truth getting coins is very easy for me, I wasnt concerned about myself. I do use bandaids but I dont use magery or necro so no need to regs here. Most people cant get many coins though, even with a greater dragon you are limited to what, 20-30 a day. If that. Unless you know all the locations which most people dont.
I know 4 balor, 5 kathooloo, 4 edyn, 3 sand crab, 1 poopdeck pappy, 4 apanda demon, 4 ancient vampire and 3 drowned pirate spawns I average 40 coins a day on a good day.

I just believe you're supposed to work hard and take a damn long time until you get the best stuff... otherwise this shard is going to be just another of those where you login, find a strong guy, he gives you a full suit of 1337 gear and thats it: you're just as strong as him.
I agree. A little work never hurt anyone. :0(
You could always but them too. At 3k/per it's not that expensive to get a stack every so often. Eventually it will all add up.
Everyone could use this bag right, but who could use it more then new players? I mean, its not that hard to get good lrc once you have been playing for a while and bandaids arent that heavy on their own. But a new player who cant get/cant afford good lrc would benefit from having a reagent bag to the fullest.
Im not saying its not a good thing for older players, not saying that its not a great thing for the dexxers who dont have mage gear on, but in the end you could get full lrc just by using the runes on your jewels.
Someone asked me if I want the bag, sure I do, but does it make a huge difference to me? Not really. I can have 2000 bandaids on me, thats 200 stones and I still have 200 left for loot. If I was going to doom for a week I could use it but thats about the only time it would make a huge difference, maybe also while training alchemy/inscription/poisoning.
Now, if it was just a bag with no weight limit, then we are talking a HUGE difference for mining, lumberjacking etc. But as is, its a very nice item for convenience and for new players who cant get one...
Domos, I am sorry but I do not see your points at all. I respect your opinion, but I am not going to be another server where everyone has very useful things that make you more efficient and it all easier gameplay. Things like that need to be worked for.
Plus the bag isn't 2000.
A lot of people like things that benefit them. It's a basic human function, but not always the best for a virtual worlds economy and balance.
Its all good Konstantine, I appreciate that you read the posts and leave feedback, thats the most important thing. Too many shards out there where the players go unheard...
I appreciate you have enough loyalty to the shard that you care what happens.
It's all good.
