Title: Lets talk Pet dragons.
Post by: LokiUO on October 13, 2011, 10:03:37 AM
Just recently got a Frost dragon and I am a little underwhelmed.  How much better is this than my G dragon or a really good G dragon.  While training him up his skills seem to be stuck at 100.  My Great dragon has skills around 118.  Do i need the pet scrolls to get my frost dragon past 100?

The Physical resist on my Frost dragon is 55, It is 80 on my G dragon.
My Frost Dragon has 902 hitpoints and my G dragon has 622 and yet seems tougher.

Is this just because my Frost Dragon has low resists?  Do all Frost dragons have low resists or just this one.
What about the Sea Wyrm?  What kind of stats can I expect from one?
What are the differences in damage output?
Just looking for some info on these Dragons and what they are capable of.

I've also been interested in the difference between frost dragons and sea wyrms over greater dragons.

Also what does it take to bond a frost dragon?  My taming is 120 and Lore and Vet are 110.  I am able to feed my frost dragon but when I try bonding food it says my taming skill isnt high enough.  Do I have to wait the full week to bond or am I going to be dissapointed next week when im still able to feed him but cant bond.

Which of the 3 is the best, second and third?  My assumption based on skill required is frost dragon, sea wyrm and then greater but is that right?

Well I never own pets, I just write code and help people. I wish I could help.

I see players using all of those quite often tho. I think certain ones are better for fighting certain things. But someone else will have to answer this better than I can.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this subject.  As a new player to pandora my tamer is my best way of income and this has frustrated me for a few days now with having to save up for a 120 scroll, gain the last 5 points and then earn enough pcoins for bonding food just to find out the frost dragon thats been in my stable for 2 weeks wont bond lol!!  I really like this shard but everything is expensive so I was hoping 120 taming would help me move along a little faster =]

I would stick with a greater dragon. -- Popular pet, cannot go wrong.

Plus they look great.  8-)
