Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I've been away from pandora, and now things have settled down and now I wish to play again, but, my account seems blocked? perhaps due to inactivity? I posted the same concern on account support forum, but it still seems blocked, so I guess I will make a post on here. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If I get my focus down and I'm timely and lucky (which I end up being quite most of the times heh) Going through runebooks and a sweep of wind usually nets me at least 500 pcoins per day. well I don't just do pcoins all the time, but when I do, I get that much

An by observation and experience, I have noticed that pcoin price (in gold) is constantly going down. And I don't think that's just me hallucinating.

BUT I do also agree with you about adding another source of gathering/spending pcoins. By that I don't mean "add more pcoin mobs". NO, I think we have enough pcoin mobs roaming around in Pandora, we just have to find them. I am talking about something unique and fun. Like pcoins in treasure chests.

Now, I don't have every pcoin items out there; but I have quite a few and quite most of all the important and convenient items. Now I am working up towards gathering enough coins to buy luck deeds and such. But a little part of me whispers "what's after that?"

I want to repeat the positive experience of enjoying "new found convenience" when I buy pcoin items. The feeling that I got when I bought that everlasting shrink potion. AHHH, I can't even begin to explain that experience without saying "awesome" somewhere in the sentence. How about the toolbox? More than 80% of my guild didn't know what it did, and showing them how it worked changed not only me, but them as well! Introducing them something that WORKS felt GREAT.

Now, what's left out there in the market that'll give me that kind of experience? There certainly are quite a lot in the donation store (I still only window shop) and I know they are very important in Pandora to help it stay up.

But I also believe it is to create an avid, enthusiastic fan base for Pandora. It's a smaller community than it has been when I first joined. I never paid for anything, I am not the top player in anything (not even in the trashtoken count...), People were cold--to be exact, it was I who didn't try to communicate out--to me until I joined SoP. But I am back, and I am enjoying the heck out of it. Why?

Because Pandora has given me a valuable time and experience that I can dare say most other shards fail to do... as a "shard". Sure, other shards are fun to play around in... but as a shard, I don't think any shards put as much as effort into it's features and system and balance and gameplay experience as much as Pandora does.

Kind of piggybacking off xcalibre's post here, but I want to tell you my thanks to Kon and Vorspire and the rest of staff for providing me with such great experience and time. Don't be disappointed when people bounce out. I have bounced out once, but now I am back. Your service has retention. A type of retention that makes users stick.

I've noticed from last Halloween deco event that Pandora has quite a load of skilled and creative designers, which is awesome. Designing isn't my forte (organized hoarding is... lol) so I hope to learn some techniques and ideas from this event.

Ah, and also for those potential house builders, maybe you should all try to add a vendor of some sort inside the houses... you could sell discounted souvenirs (bribing? lol) or add some story line to those special houses. I was quite impressed at how La Mort (I think it was him) used NPCs to tell the story at the excavation site house during the horrific haunted house event

ughh kinda busy this week so i haven't got a chance to log into Pandora for a while. But can I reserve a spot before it's all taken? and also we should discuss about what each vendors would sell. I think that'll help in the long run to operate a sales hotspot in pandora (and SoP will reap the profit)

just simply glad to have you here more prospective experienced player in Pandora is always welcome! this shard, what i love about it the most, is that it has quite a lot of custom contents that are really well balanced. What I mean by that, is, that the shard owners put a lot of effort to really balance out the fun for ALL players, not just a small group of people who simply were here before. I just abhor all the other shards that add custom contents in already well-made uo and skew all the fun from gameplay to the rich, super old players...

The shard is going through an update right now, i think? (can't check, at work ) come inside and give a short playthrough, and you have my guarantee that you'll love it here. I'll see you in game

Heh, I am personally a fan of scripted resource gathering... They are necessary, quite important to maintain the shard, but I just can't get down and spend my time doing/writing them... I'd rather go out and kill the evil creatures of Pandora
Someone else (probably from SoP?) could write a step-by-step guide for it, because I don't think I can write about something I don't do...

Thank you for your response! As far as my belief goes, I don't think one single player has all the knowledge and know-hows in a game, especially in a MMORPG like UO, simply for it's grandiose scale. Every player knows different aspect of the game that others might not. So I believe it is important that we share what we know, so others can learn--and not just learn the stuff, but learn to enjoy--bits on gameplay.

I, as an example, do use hotkey to 'dismount' pets, but have never really known a method to mount one. You learned something; I learned something! Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it, and I believe others who read the post will too!
