Also the stairs are are the wrong side of the room downstairs.

It's not there..LOL Is it just me or is it really not there.I go down the stairs and just come into a small room with just blackness all around..

I had a similiar problem when I first tried to play. This is what I had to do.
Uninstall UO and manually delete all associated folders.(stuff from other shards can conflict)
Reinstall uo to the proper client patch.
Uninstalled and reinstalled razor (was able to save previous macros and hotkeys tho)
If you are running windows 7 make sure razor and UO are running as administrator.
Make sure after you log in and set up your screen how you want it and your hot buttons (if any) that you use the log out button and don't just x out. It didn't save my screen when I accidentally did this a couple times.

This may be a stupid question or i may just be forgetting something.
If a weapon or shield is spell channeling it shouldn't drop out of my hand when I cast ... correct ? At least thats the way I remember it. I have gotten 2 channeling shields today and they both dropped into my pack when i casted...

Here to try this shard out. Old UO vet since '99. Played mostly on Great Lakes then Lake Austin until around late '06. Took a break for a couple years due to a job taking me over the road for weeks at a time. Been playing various other free shards since , mostly pre-ren.I have grown immensly bored of these shards due to the lack of anything new and low populations.
 Looking forward NOT doing the same thing day after day...LOL Later on down the road hope to try out some PvP action here on a build other than a straight tank/mage hahaha.
