I had this a couple of times but I moved a few tiles and made my pet move a few tiles as well and I was able to dig it up.

Once I was on the wrong facet (Fel vs Trammel) but sounds like you were in the correct location.

I would tell you to try again by moving a few tiles with no pet out and once you get it up summon the pet but sounds like you tried this already.

Only other thing is if Pandora spawned something (tree, etc) that is blocking the chest from coming up.

This is truely sad.

Sorry for the newb question, new to the server and I played UO until 2001, but I am not certain how donation items work.

I would love to have a portable forge/anvil but not certain how to get one.

Under Carpentry, please note, you can't make Medium Crates until you hit 33 skill.
Do small crates until 33, and then follow the guide.
