I have been on Pandora for a couple of weeks now, and have a question or two before i invest too much into it.

I have played a few non OSI shards for a long time, and have found Pandora offers far superior features and connection (from Australia), as well as really easy startup.

But, I am finding the community difficult to get into.
There always seems to be 100+ online, but I rarely see other (non afk or macro'ing) people ingame, in-game chat is rare and mainly trades or newbie questions, the guild forum and new player intro's on the forum are pretty much dead.

I would really like to make a home here, and am not trying to offend anyone, but am i just missing something, is it just my timezone, or am i expecting too much

Only been here a week myself and had similar problem.

Voting on the stones in Insula bank gives you 10k and some Pandora coins each day.
Going to dailypvp / FFA for the pvpcoins. (Yeah i get obliterated but it doesnt take long)
I have been getting my gold and oceanic coins from Fishing, but only because i like fishing.

The young player chest in training room can have some decent items in it (including powerscrolls) but you got to be prepared to check often and dig past all the junk.

Been enjoying my first day or so on Pandora.

Haven't played UO for a long time, so it's taking some getting used to.

Anyway, off to do more fishing (am Fish-a-holic) ...see you ingame.
