Lockpicking

I am gm tinker and make a chest to practice lockpicking on but lockpicking does not raise. My lockpicking skill is at 75 and has never raised since I started. Would appreciate some help in raising to gm. Thanks

Does making boxes or chests make any difference? I think UOStratics says to make boxes. until level 84. Just a thought.

Thanks but it didnt work. I tried small, medium and large crates too.

Lockpicking is one of those odd skills were you need supplys from someone else you need another GM tinker/carp to make (and trap) the chests you want to train on

for 75 skill, you need to train on a chest made by someone that as around 85-90 tinkering skill to gain, otherwise you wont gain a point.
