I played on Baja for years. For some reason none of the new games aren't as dynamic as UO. They try, but just can't get the hook UO have always had for me.

its the practice based, skill gain system and real world aspects like the criminal element that make uo more than a game, but a place to dwell. other mmo's that use a generic xp based system, where hitting things with your sword can lead to you learning a new magic spell are just never gonna cut it for me
