Ok, so I have been fishing on and off for a few days (couple hours or so each time) with GM fishing and I have yet to pull up a Deep Sea Serpent or a Sea Serpent.  Was there a change when fishing powerscrolls was added or am I just sucking that bad with the RNG?

The second option wouldn't surprise me since I have been killing mobs of t-maps and have been hitting snake-eyes on that as well.

Also note that you can get Fishing powerscrolls by visiting Cap'n Smee and doing those quests at the Sea Market.

Over 100 Fishing great increases chances across the board.

So, like I mentioned, I have been hunting for treasure maps and fishing for sea serpents to hopefully get MiBs.  I went through some of my hunting spots with no luck.  Half asleep I decide to log out on my boat so I can fish when I log back in.  I decide to cast my line out once just for kicks and guess what I get....a deep sea serpent with a t-map.

krakens are a great source of MiB's.. shame has lots of krakens, a sea horse will be your best friend in there :]

How can I get a sea horse?

first you need high taming.. then you need a quiver of the sea horse, it costs either 3k ocoins or 50 bucks, they both have 5% dci and the doni version comes with 15 mana regen.
however if your a garg you can simply get the water robe for a mere 100 ocoins and just fly on the water
