client Lag

I wouldn't know where to post it but here we go.

A couple days ago Pandora disconnected over some server maintanence. After that every time I log in its very choppy/laggy. Not just the game but also the mouse pointer. Its about a 3 second delay before I can take a step. I've been on this server for almost 2 months and have never experienced this. Im afraid to evan leave the house cause a mongbat could probably wipe me out.

Im running Windows 7 / Razor v1.0.12 / uo patch 7.0.6.5.

Uh oh, did your computer make love to a nasty server thats been around the block and pick up an NTD (net transmitted disease)? Also, I think a mongbat could wipe you out without the lag  :lol:

I think it's Windows 7. Do you have a legit copy?

Its legit. factory settings and correctly installed. I evan tried on a secondary computer and still same problem. takes a few seconds just to recognise where the mouse is. And Domos, I think it was those pictures of your girl I was photoshopping froze up my computer.

I am still 2000 miles from the Pandora server and it runs smooth for me when I am even on the neighbors WiFi a way aways.

On a serious note, I think I can remember this happening to me at one point and I think it was one of the "options" in razor or uo client itself causing it. Another thing to do is open your UO folder, right click every executable it it one at a time and under properties-->securities tab select the "run as administrator" option.

Do what he stated above, but also run it in XP SP3. I did that to try to help the client.

Thank u Geman and domos, Got it going by running folders in admin. My computer decided that the uo client wasn't supported and wouldn't run passivly.
