[BETA] Descendants - Pandora's sister shard, online for you.

Over the past couple months we have been working on a sister shard for Pandora to put more players under the Pandora flag. It's a largely different play style than Pandora but still using some of the same innovation and technology we have here. This will benefit both shards, running on the same servers, will give player's more options. Publishes will be worked on for both shards simultaneously, being slightly tweaked for one or the other.

Currently we are in beta testing. Where we will let the shard be live and playable for another month as make many patches into it before we release it officially with a website, banners, etc. Most player's on Pandora will stay there because they like the no-skill cap play style, while others will play both.

I won't go in to many details now. But here is some key differences on Descendants' compared to Pandora.

The main thing we keep in mind for Descendants' is taking the best things from each era of Ultima Online while still remaining to an old school feel & and play style. (Which Pandora is like UO in the future hehe)

Descendant's is 97% UO Guide accurate. All monsters are scaled down.


-  720.0 Skill Cap

- Still 305/330 stat cap

- 45/45 HCI/DCI Cap

- Template building (pure dexxor, pure mage, necro mage, tank mage, etc)

- Felucca, Ilishnar, & Malas (Malas is Trammel rule set)

- No Imbuing

- Gargoyle's get their gear by crafting via blacksmith, tailoring, or masonary. Only their jewels drop on monsters. But they have a higher "start base" on all their armor. Everything is on the crafting menus for them, but still can equip most human weapons and all jewels.

- Quest for Corgul the Soulbinder

- Scalis comes up from fabled fishing net.

- All artifacts (Doom, Ankh Tokuno, etc) have been set to UO normal

- No donator pets, Cu Sidhes, Hiryus, Nightmares, Greater Dragons, Dragons, Dread Warhorses rule here.

- Only powerscrolls on UO Guide can drop. Not all skills go to 120.0

- No high high poison like parasitic

- No afk resource gathering (Mining, Lumberjacking, Fishing)

- No token monsters (P coins, O Coins, etc) Anything that can got are from NPCS

- Lord British & Lord Blackthorn sit on their thrones at war with each other.

- No fancy pretty bright colors



There is obviously thousands of changes, but above seem to be the most right away differences to people.


You do not have to play here, as even still most my time is required in Pandora. But I want to offer things for all players, so no one ever leaves for no skill cap or leaves for skill cap without still being under our communities banner... I am giving Pandora players, if interested in this play style, to be get a head start or check it out if you want. Don't want to leave anyone in the dark.
