CLIENT UPDATE
Update your clients all the way to 7.0.27.5 (some .4)


Instructions: Go to the folder where your Ultima Online is installed. Usually in Program files. Find UOPatch.exe, right click it, run as administrator. If you cannot do that, just double click it.
Let it patch all the way up. Once it's done downloading/moving, X out of that, start razer.



CODE CLEANUP
Resolved all compiler warnings. Tidied up many systems, etc.



SHIELD OF INVULNERABILITY

You should now be able to use Powder of Temperament on the Shield of Invulnerability.



PVP BATTLES

Leaving a battle during the preparing state will now cause you to lose an amount of
PvP Points equal to the amount you would have gained from the battle.
This amount can vary between different battles.

Sustaining damage from delayed attacks/spells after you have "died" in a battle
should now not count multiple deaths and losses; the associated message should also
no longer be spammed on the screen.

The fire traps have been removed from the 2v2 and 3v3 arenas.



THROWABLE ITEMS

Throwable items should now work as expected and no longer cause you to be permanently tired after the first throw.



MOONGATES (VIA GATE TRAVEL SPELL, ETC)

Moongates in guarded regions will now check if the traveller is a criminal.
These moongates are usually encountered when someone uses the Gate Travel spell, etc.



SHIPWRIGHTS - SPY GLASSES

Shipwrights will now buy Spy Glasses for 5gp.
There is no clear price stated on UO Guide.



FISHING

- The chances of catching the fish are close to UOGuide accurate now & all around more stable

- Added Dungeon Pike as a legendary fish.

SCALIS THE ENFORCER

Scalis has been updated, the code has been cleaned up.
Scalis will now spawn a Parasitic Eel once every 20 seconds.
By default, a maximum of 5 Parasitic Eels may be spawned at the same time.

Cooking -> Brewing
You ill be able to brew alcoholic drinks with the Cooking skill, there are new ingredients such as Yeast and Sugar used in these recipes.
Alongside Ale, Cider, Wine and Liquor, will be Mead.
You will be able to brew standard alcoholic drinks and some special brews such as "Moonglow Mead".
You will require at least 20.0% Cooking skill in order to brew alcoholic beverages.

Brewmaster Vendors
A new type of vendor, the Brewer, will become available and will sell brewing ingredients as well as pre-brewed beverages.




PROFESSIONAL FISHERS' QUESTS

- See Captain Smee at the Sea Market.

- He will give you a random 10 fish, crab, or lobster to bring back to him.
  When you do so, he will give you a reward. Then you will be able to do another quest with him, and he will give you another 10 random creatures to bring him... Forever & ever.


*Note you must be in the Fishermans' guild to do the quest. Find a Guildmaster, type their name & join. Example) Joe Join





PROFESSIONAL FISHERS' QUEST REWARDS...

- Will be given to you at random. They all have the same shot.

- Oracle of the Sea (to track Charybdis monster once you have Charybdis bait)

- We are introducing bait & hooks for fishing! You can get bait by doing the quests below. These allow you much better odds of catching rare or legendary fish.

- You double click your bait, and click your pole. You will have a set amount of charges / uses on it. Click the link above for more info.

- To remove the bait, double click your can in your backpack.

- We are the first free UO shard to offer these, straight out of the High Seas expansion.




CHARYBDIS

An awesome new water champion, we are the first shard to introduce this off of paid shards test server. High Seas booster. Has new animations, etc.

- Charybdis is a champion, you will get powerscrolls when you kill him

- Updated special effects & much more. Read the last patch about Charybdis.

- Use Charybdis Bait at the location you get from using Oracle of the Sea. (both these items are gotten from Smee the Fish Monger at Sea Market via Quest, see below)



FISH OIL

- Fish Oil is now on the Cooking menu. This will recharge your Oracle of the Sea when it runs out of charges



MISC. TWEAKS

- Fishing names will appear correctly when fishing them up.

- There is a lot of little stuff to this patch. Too much to mention.
