new player status

I think there needs to be something done about new player status.

I'll start off by saying I do agree with having new player status, we all needed it when we started out.

My problem is the people who are abusing the system.

People make "new" characters and have new player status (so no monsters auto flag on them) then they put on tiered up items that are mostly imbued up if not fully imbued and can go into fel and attack players or certain mobs they want to kill while everyone else has to fight all the mobs and other players at the same time.
I see this abused more in the pvm room then any other place.

I think that they need to loose new player benefits when in fel or in pvm room. My only other idea would be to set new player status up so if there tiers or ar got to a certain point they would loose it also.

Totally forgot that i edited the public gate system, so i can make sure no young player can enter fel.. PvM event room will be trickier, since i want em in there alas.

Is there a way to make it once a player has over 100k rating of gear on, New Player Status is dropped?

Why do we even have new player status? Most players drop it as soon as they create a new character.

New Player Status is so 2001...

I agree, if there is abuse it should be eliminated for those players accounts, also I agree that if you have 100k gear it should be removed as well....Nigel
