Patch Problems

I have a problem with patching the game.  I can get on pandora just fine, but when I play the game a message annoyingly pops up every 3 minutes saying that i need to use UOpatch to update my game to 7.0.6.5.  But when I try to patch the game it says an error during the patch occured. And it says to go to UO.com to get help.....uhhh how about no.


So can anyone help.  Oh and also the screen keeps on flashing like lightning.  Maybe its because of the patch?

Ok, go into your UO folder, right click every executable in it and select "run as administrator" option (turn it on). After thats done run the patch again and patch it to the right version, after that use Razor...

The screen flashing problem Im not sure how to fix, but it gets much better if you run the game in window mode. Someone on the shard said they knew what to do but I cant remember who it was. Something with refresh rate is my guess.

Try to run UOTD.exe as admin(in case on vista or 7)

about screen flashing, try to switch colors on uo, don't play on fullscreen(windowed mode is more convinient and cause less problems) also remember: turn off "USe smart CPU usage reduction" on razor General options

if won't help - when opening razor on greet. screen give direct way to client.exe(but before set client.exe to run as admin.)

should help, if not then it's some kind of graphic cards compatibility with this kind of games.
