Public House Question

I've made one of my houses public and my only concern is that someone will axe my mini house or shield or other such decorative deed and run off with it. Is this possible?

techinically only the person who put the thing down or possibly a co-owner/etc can axe deeds however housing can be a bit buggy...you "should" be safe all said and done.
