I know the yards are cool and they look pretty. Let me hear how mad you guys are at me, or if you agree with me for much better stability of the shard.

I personally think the yard system is awesome, BUT if it crashes the server, then we must move away from it. If it's to fix the server and it wipes out bank boxes... Which is even more crazy, then get rid of it.

You can always save the script and fix it later sometime along the lines.

It would suck but its understandable if that is the problem. Just let us know so we can pull up our yards and get the money back

i'm not seeing anybody upset by this ...

a lot of folks had awesome and incredible yards/areas that linked several building plots together to make fun compounds etc ... i have spoken with quite a few of them in game and the general sentiment seems to be ... 'bummer, put a lot of time and effort into it, it looked great, will miss the look, but rather be without it than have an unstable server that messes with folks' banks, crashes server etc'

so the bottom line is, it's a correct choice that had to be made for the better running of the shard

my hat off to those i have spoken with, you know who you are, for not whingeing and whining but understanding

kon ... i'm too old and grumpy to care about brown nosing etc, so know it's sincere when i say thanks for providing this server ... it's a fun home for many of us

The yard system may come back at a later date people, but it's low on the priority list.  I need to take a hard look at it and do some major debugging.  It definently won't happen until this summer.

In the meantime you can get some compensation from Kons I am certain.
