New and trying to log in!

I just re-DLed UO and patched and installed and everything. I believe I made the correct edit in the Login. notepad and everything. However, after i try to sign in with an account name and password I get stuck on verifying account. I left it for about 30 mins yesterday and had no luck. the game doesnt freeze or anything, it just does not continue. Am i doing something wrong? Do i have to sign in something different if I am trying to make a new account?

what client version do you use? you should have 7.something.

also download razor http://www.runuo.com/razor/Razor_Latest.exe
install it
and connect via razor

if you did that and it doesnt work i have no idea

Have problem too. I DLed UO and Razor and .net 1.1 and 2.0. Installed all. WHen i trying to connect via Razor it always crashes. Client crashes! If without razor - stuck on vertifying acc. But at home PC all ok! At home i connect via razor and play. But i cant play at home long. I want to play from my work. Mb my nootebook is too weak ? 1.8 ghz 486 mb ram. dunno what video.. i think some intergrated.

What are the specs in supposed to be in razor exactly?
My Razor client errors before it even begins to open UO.

Says: Razor was unable to locate and load a suitable UO CliLoc file. Some text may not be displayed.

I also dont know where to put in the IP address in the razor log.

Very confused and frustrated. Would love to get playing on a good shard again. Used to love UO. Played a lot on Catskills.

I had this razor problem too one day. Im using Windows 7. Did you install the Stygian Abyss version of UO? because it happened for me only with SA.

It didnt work for me.

My solution was installing the UO ML client and patching it all the way up to 7.0.7.3 which needed a LONG time but then it worked.

you can google for UOML download or use this link for example:
http://games.mirrors.tds.net/pub/ea-gam ... _setup.exe

but remember: this way needs alot of time because you will have to patch UO from version 5.* to 7.*
